Best Computer for Hacker?

I'm going to upgrade my computer as a hacker, but I'm not sure if the desktop or laptop is best for hacking or is it completely tied to cost?  The laptop is more expensive, but is that the only criterion?

In which case, I personally have never tested whether the laptop is better than the desktop, but I would think there is probably no difference.

You get better at hacking by experience and logic skill I believe.

Hacking is actually a hidden skill, and the amount of money that you can gain from hacking is probably more related to skill level than anything. It's been forever since I played a hacker, and he wasn't very dedicated to his cause.

I believe a lap top would be best, simply because then the sim could always have it with him/her.

Isn't it computer whizzes that get the ability to hack, not geniuses?

Computer wixes yes, and if you are a P.I you can also hack. Geniuses can solve the unsolvable.

Not really off topic as I'm curious for this one myself.   I need to get the casino thingy when it's on sale.
