What do you think about the pet mystery system on Sims 3 Pets Console Version?

I had the Sims 3 pets on the PS3 along with the PC version of Pets. I have recently sold my gaming consoles and those games in order to get a good gaming PC with corresponding games, however, one feature I do miss out of the console version of pets were the pet mysteries that made it interesting to actually play as the pets. I never got too far into it, but it was cool, and I wish I had gotten further in before I traded in my console, what do you guys think of that feature in the console versions of the Sims 3: Pets?

I enjoyed the pet mysteries. I have noticed that although the console versions don't offer as much as the PC version, Pets did have a lot more gameplay in it (ie pet mysteries, ghost hunting). I have recently moved to playing Sims on the PC, and recently got Ambitions. I found the investigator career to be somewhat similar to the pet mysteries, in that you have to go around town questioning sims and completing other tasks.

I liked the pet mysteries, I wish there were more of them.  It was great to unlock new stuff.  My favorite was the one "Just Nine Lives To Live".
