The Suitor Legacy - Intro
« on: January 08, 2014, 08:36:25 AM »
So, I moved to this town on an impulse really. So many people said it was amazing, that it had so much to offer! I guess we'll find out, right? Sunset Valley sure would be a fun way to learn what I was all about.

Oh, I'm Abbey Suitor. Yeah, strange name I know. But I took it up upon leaving my family. If you could call them that. The entire family was awful really, I was the stranger in that family in all honesty. I was the mistake that came out as a reminder. You, see my mother and father are now divorced. Guess whose the reason. Oh there's more behind that, but let's just say, I was the only witch.

But I like being the odd person, which was why I chose my name to be this, which was why I wore such strange looking clothes. Some people would say I was looking for attention, but not really, I just didn't want to be normal. I was sick of it. I wanted to be me, and now I was.

So, before you ask What's with all the purple!? Well, it's my favorite color. It's the color of my eyes, etc.

But, on to why I've brought you here. This is my story, this is the story of what will be my children. This is my Legacy.

Your founder is beautiful! I love her personality and I can't wait to see those beautiful children...
And what town is that? Is that Roaring Heights? I haven't gotten that town, and it's the only town I'm really unfamiliar with - and I most certainly don't know that scenery.
Anyways, I've bookmarked this! I can't wait to read more. :)

I got the hairstyle from the Sims 3 Store. It's under Wretched Threads.

The picture is in Roaring Heights, but I changed it actually, because I realized who I wanted to be the First Gen. spouse, I'll have that be another town that is used later on though.

So, for the first while that I lived in Sunset Valley I adopted a kitten, his name is Sammy.

He's my familiar, and he's fairly close to aging into an adult, and he's such a cutie. But for the few weeks of living here I've worked on my Witchcraft, because while I was at the library I was looking up sims for my Legacy I need to create. I found one that seemed more my speed, a little odd, and usually the one people didn't really go to. I knew that someone like that needed someone, and I hoped I was that one. So I decided to work on my witchcraft to get things started for us.

Once Sammy turned into an adult, I got another cat, a little lady for him. Her name is Hannah, she aged up into an adult just before I managed to master witchcraft.

So, one evening when I mastered my witchcraft I went to the graveyard where the ghosts were being restless. I walked to a grave off to the side.

Tragic Clown
Alone in Life and Death

I felt sorrow strike my heart, it was awful how they thought of him, no respect, even in death.

I pulled out my wand, waved it over the grave, spoke the well known incantation and waited. It took only a few moments before anything happened, a green hand shot out of the dirt. It scared me and I jumped back a little as the rest of the body crawled out, he was green and slobbery. I pulled out my wand and used the Sunlight Charm and that all went away, his zombification ended, he stared at me in shock.

"Are you-did you just bring me back to life?"

"Yes."

"Why? Did you need a good laugh or something? I'm not good for much else."

"I doubt that."

"You're not from around here, are you?"

"Um...no?"

"That explains it, nobody around here would say that to me."

"Isn't it good that I'm different from them?"

"I don't know, I don't even know you. Why did you bring me back?"

"Strangely enough. I need you for something."

"Figures, okay, do you want me to trip myself? Do you want me to fall in the lake and drown? Actually I'ce already done that..."

"What? No! No, no, no! I want to put a spell on you."

"Alright, I guess burning to death will be a new way to go."

I took a deep breath, closed my eyes and waved my wand. The charm hit, and as soon as I opened my mouth to speak he lunged forward, wrapping me into a kiss. I didn't expect the love charm to take so quickly.

He then pulled away in shock, I pulled him back and we melted against each other. When we stop his hands are shaking. "I'm sorry! I don't know what came over me!"

"No, don't be sorry, that was me. I didn't mean for it to be so strong, I just wanted to kinda...push us that way?"

"Why?"

"Well, you see..." I fudged over the truth a little. "I wanna get to know you more. Tragic, I was wondering if you would like to live with me."

He paused for a while, he seemed not only stumped and shocked, but also rather taken aback. I brought him back to life, and now I want him to live with me. I technically wanted more than that, but no point in scaring him away to quickly.

"Well, I guess I don't really have anywhere else to live, but we'll have separate beds right?"

"No, separate rooms."

He looked relieved. "Alright then, you've got a deal Miss..."

"Suitor, Abbey Suitor."

"Well, shall we go?"

"Sure!"

I was closer to my Lifetime Wish of being a Zombie Master.

The Suitor Legacy - Unexpected Twist
« Reply #5 on: January 10, 2014, 03:28:29 PM »
So, after the first few weeks of Tragic living in the house with me, the living arrangement slowly changed.

From this:

To this:

To this:

We welcomed Bradford and Camilla into the world.

But marriage never came around, it was something I hadn't anticipated that would be a problem. But it was, as I hadn't fully done my research. So I talked to Tragic about it, why I couldn't propose to him, why the marriage could never happen. But he actually just smiled.

"Oh, Abbey dear. Of course we can get married. But not here, we have to go abroad, since I was brought back to life, I'm not considered a "person"."

"So...we can?!"

"Of course, and with the newborns, I only think it's right. Bradford and Camilla deserve it."

"I agree. But we don't have the money in order to go anywhere."

Tragic nodded, "This is true, I don't get enough wages in order to afford this right now..."

I sighed, "Don't worry, we'll figure it out."

And figure it out we did, not even three days later I received a letter, telling me a relative of mine died, leaving us with a large sum of money. Before we even thought about going to do the marriage thing, we made adjustments to the house, because the same day that I gave birth to Camille, Hannah, the cat, gave birth to a litter of three. So we had quite a household.

But afterwards, while we were in the new nursery, Tragic made the call, and we were off. We left the babies in the hands of a friend I'd made since living there, his name was Leighton. Leighton Sekemoto. He wasn't put off by my magic, so this made him a dear friend to me. He would watch them for the three days that we were gone.

From the house to the airport, from the airport to the plane, from the plane to the country.

When we got off the plane, we went straight to the baselot, and smiled at each other.

China

We went to a beautiful spot where I went down on one knee, I had told Tragic my plan, I needed him to take my name. As this was my Legacy. He agreed.

We engaged.

We married.

We honeymooned. We did a little spending, got some martial arts gear, but from there, we spent the time together, also exploring some of the tombs.

Other than that though, we spent a lot of time doing couple stuff.

Snuggling on the couch:

Playing Chess:

The chess was particularly helpful as Tragic worked in the medical career.

Then we went out for hike up to the Terracotta Army.

Stayed the night up in the hills in a large tent I'd purchased the previous day.

And did things couples do

The last day we spent there we spent at the base camp. We spent all the time together, back on the lovely couch

Slow dancing to some gentle music

And having our last meal. For some reason I'd really been craving ice cream

Then that evening we returned home only to discover something bigger than our marriage itself.

Author's Note: Would anybody like to make any guess on what this 'something' is?
Also, Camilla and Bradford are not twins, and Bradford is older

I felt rather bad for Tragic when he was first talking to Abbey. The poor guy did not have an easy life (or death). I'm glad that he has his second chance and seems so happy!

For the first few days, everything was normal upon our return. If you minus the fact that the government took away all the cats, accusing of us being animal hoarders. Tragic and I were devastated. However, a few nights later, Bradford aged into the cutest little toddler.

His sister, Camilla, followed a few days later, only to be outdone in her aging by the arrival of our newest family member.

Oh yeah, probably should have mentioned that.

Welcome little Damion Suitor!

So the next few days were rather hectic. Two toddlers to finish training, and a newborn who seemed so happy to see us suffering at his eternal cries.

But Camilla and Bradford both had received special toys in the mail from a very long lost relative of mine, so long lost I don't remember him at all. Grandma Bertha's Second Cousin? Didn't even know I had those.

Either way though, they were both completely in love with these toys.

Soon the birthdays of the children would be upon us though.

Author's note: I do apologize for it being so short, but I suggest you prepare for a toddler spam next update

I love the kids! Bradford and Camilla have amazingly posh names but they look like little rockers. Superb job on the story. ;)

Cute toddler hair!

Thanks, I've got quite a bit of custom content for hair, I can post the links in my signature for anyone who would like to get them personally :)

Thank you so very much, I like to give my babies interesting names, Brad names seem rather common for me though.

Awww they are so cute!

Thank you! I'm very proud of how they turned out, I've never been fond of children personally, but in the Sims I can't wait for toddlers and whatnot because I can dress them up all cute

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay, so apparently while I was out working on my Lifetime Wish at the graveyard, the watcher forgot to remind me of Damion's birthday, so he aged up into toddler without a cake.

Much to my disappointment, the same happened with Bradford when he aged into a child.

But I returned home to find them like this.

I was sad not to see them age up, but I had so many more birthdays to see. Which included Camilla's, which occurred the following day, but once again, lacked a cake. But she aged up in her pajamas, but was absolutely adorable.

So, that was the pattern for a while, I taught Damion to walk and talk while Tragic learned his chemistry, getting his logic up, and discovering some interesting potions along the way.

Bradford also worked on his logic in our room where the chess board was, and Camilla used the computer we got her in order to follow her writing aspirations.

I also played with Damion, trying to bond with him more, he seemed to be growing into quite the genius while playing with his peg box.

Over the next few days, just before I age up into an adult, I finished my Lifetime Wish of being a Zombie Master. I couldn't help laughing when I realized that the first zombie I created I married.

But the following day, when everyone was home from work or school, I aged up into an adult, and I decided I would go with something a little more mature for myself in terms of looks.

Just after I aged up, so did Damion, into a handsome little boy.

I then decided to help out by making some money, so I signed up as a Daycare owner. We had a nursery but no toddlers, might as well change that, right?

Tragic apparently had been pranked with hair dye in the shower, I heard him yelling at Camilla afterwards, which was strange, it's not really like her to pull pranks on us. But I guess Tragic knew who did it so there was no point in arguing with him really.

The next evening Bradford aged up into a teen off the lot while looking for gems.

And Tragic aged up into an elder right afterwards on his way home as well.

All that was left for Camilla to age up as well. But she still had a few days before that would be happening. But I knew soon we would have to choose the heir, but I intended to wait until Damion was a teenager before we even started deciding that, so it left us with time, time to work together, and still be a family.

Author's note:
Trait Recap:
Bradford - Genius, Clumsy, Athletic, Bookworm
Camilla - Loner, Bookworm, Exciteable
Damion - Evil, Genius, Clumsy
