Just wondering if all the sims towns link up somehow? For example: Which town is next to Bridgeport? If anyone has any info it will be greatly appreciated! :)

Hi JumpyBerry, and welcome to the forum!

I don't think there's any specific placement of the towns relative to one another. It's all up to the player's imagination.

Each town is individual and stands alone.  They don't connect to each other at all.

I believe Pam was speaking from her own experience with the game.  I don't know of any "source" for that information, but certainly I can confirm that there's no connection between the towns.   :)

I created my own location list.

Sims base game neighbourhood is US
Sims pets neighbourhood is Europe
Sims late night is LA/ New York
Sims supernatural is Transylvania 8)
Sims ambitions is England or US
Lucky Palms is Las Vegas
Monte Vista is Italy
Hidden Springs is Switzerland or France
Sims IP is Carrabian
Sunlit tides is Carrabian
Sims Showtime is LA

There is more but I can't be bothered to do all of them!

I see them as:

Sunset Valley: American Suburbs
Twinbrook: Apparently, it's in Missouri somewhere (DeWolfe's bio says they live in Simisouri), but I always thought it was supposed to be Louisiana.
Bridgeport: New York City
Appaloosa Plains: General North American ranching town, probably in the states somewhere.
Starlight Shores: Hollywood, California
Moonlight Falls: Somewhere in America's Pacific Northwest, but I'm almost positive it's in Oregon.
Isla Paradiso: I have no precise idea, but probably in the Caribbean or something, like you said.
Sunlight Tides: I'm thinking Hawaii.
Riverview: a farm town in Illinois
Hidden Springs: I think it's supposed to be Colorado Springs, but it could honestly be any mountainous, outdoorsy place with a cottage country. It could even be my town from up North if it actually broke into the health retreat business and didn't smell like butt from the paper mill. We even had candy cane swings in a park somewhere once.
Lucky Palms: Las Vegas, Nevada, natch.
Monte Vista: Italy
Aurora Skies: Scandinavian/Nordic, with a lot of the design pulled from Iceland.
Dragon Valley: Somewhere either in Ireland or Scotland, possibly a fantastical mix of the two
Roaring Heights: Coney Island
Lunar Lakes: A distant planet
Midnight Hollow: A Tim Burton filmset
Barnacle Bay: I have no idea. :/
The Hideous Immortal Dynasty

I think those pictures gave me heartburn.

Well, the general consensus is that all the towns 'link up' to form SimNation, which is a term coined from SimCity -- it's the name the country in which the titular cities are formed -- but that's just the consensus in the community. There is no definite and official country in Sims 3.
