Sorry, Pam. One moment it was the game and then Reality. I moved it over there (to the Babble Thread.) Jeff, that's where I replied.

SUCCESS!

My bear-in-the-woods man sat by his lovely little death flower plant garden and hummed to himself.
His best friend, who was busy cooking Key Lime Pie, and chopping his fingers off, was in the kitchen á la Chef.
Then, text messaged by the U.C.S.T.A.I.G.A.R.S (Universal Chef Station That Includes Gardens and Random Stuff) and it said:

The Sky Is Getting Dark.

Hmmm...that's nice.

KABOOOOM!!!!!!!!!

And when his friend ran over, along with several other wild-haired people (moles, rabbits, birds, a hobo, some mice, a flying computer) from the surrounding houses (rabbit holes, mole holes, lots of holes, more holes, flying table) there was nothing more. But get this, the sim, the plants, the chair, and the sprinklers were all gone. Ash. But nothing else was touched, and there was barely any debris anywhere. Bazaar.

That was my first experience, the 2nd was not so faithful:

Just closing down Sims 3 to post my latest, super huge junk of an update for my dynasty...KABOOM! Game closed down, and when I re-opened my dynasty was gone.

:(

I had this happen last week. I had left the little boy looking through his telescope while my other Sim went off to do something else. I went to the science labs and the Grim Reaper was sorting them all out. I think about 25 children died that night and a few adults as well.

So I won't be doing that again in a hurry.

I just had that happen in my game.  A meteor hit the school and nearly everyone inside died.  So pretty much wiped out an entire generation of children.  Very sad!  If you wanna see screen shots you can view the ones I posted HERE.

Wow!
That is pretty disastrous.
In a sick way it's kind of funny.

A deserted school yard....
Sparrows fly around, as the sun sets. There is a sudden, loud explosion. Three kids outside the school are vanquished under the heavy rain fall of death. Then, Charon, the fierier of the River Styx, also known as the grim reaper, waits outside.
He gives the departed children their tickets, and they board the van.
Slowly, kids file out of the school, each one in tern waiting in line for their ticket. They receive it, and their flesh is blasted into smoke, with a hint of flame. They then board the van, and the Grim Reaper drives them off towards the hill, where they quickly vanish into thin air. (Bus and all)
