I think Tessa is reassuring for all of us in that she's just a touch more crazy than the rest of us  ;=)

Crazier than I am? Hmm the gnomes and I shall have to discuss this in our agm...

I don't know, the gnomes are rather fond of Tessa...

It's actually the first proper wedding I've bothered to do in this legacy.  Chysm was kind of already knocked up, Ari was just ruining people's lives with her marriages, and Mal was just marrying into the Cod-meister's house.  It was nice to actually do a legitimately formal occasion...with gnomes.

Gah, yes, I meant marriages. I think at least that's how I tried to say - I blame the extra long afternoon nap I just woke up from.

Haha, I love the wedding, Pip. It is a truly marvelous occasion! The Gnomes agreed to Tessa's mate! Unfortunately though, they're broke for the time being, but I can't imagine that changes Tessa's love for Freddy er Timmothy. Heh.

I'm sure that Tessa and Timmothy will provide a lovely home for the gnomes. Incidentally, do they do catering?

The Gnomes provide all your wedding needs so if that is catering then yeah you get catering! Incidentally, they do birthdays and funerals too...

Afternoon naps are delightful!

Tessa and Freddy/Timothy are the most functional couple this legacy has seen thus far.

Aah but I have 31 years seniority lol
Well, I guess you've got her there  ;=)

Funerals?  Well, that escalated quickly.

Tessa isn't crazy. The world is just a little out of step with her.
Yes, Tessa is "unique."

The Schlick-Wainwright Legacy--A Visitor
« Reply #385 on: June 09, 2014, 01:17:02 PM »

A letter written by a Chinese tourist visiting Moonlight Falls.

Dearest Ling,

I came to Moonlight Falls expecting to experience a different culture.  "Different" was definitely the right word.
The people at the first house I came to seemed nice enough...at first.

They asked what I enjoy and what sights I might like to see.  I mentioned the koi ponds, and they grabbed me and took me to what they called "The Old Fishing Hole."

There was a strange blue woman with them.  She and the man, who I think is named Timmothy, started fishing.  Since I was being ignored, I just started reading.

I'm not sure about his name because this strange grey woman with weird hair kept calling him "Freddy."  He didn't seem to like it, and tried to correct her repeatedly.

The grey-skinned and blue-skinned girls took turns jumping into the strange metal box, which got all blurry when they were in it.

A charming French woman named Ausette also happened into this strange setting.  We chatted for a while about how unusual these Moonlight Falls residents were.

As we were chatting, there was a strange flash of light behind us.

When I walked back over to these strange people, the blue woman had been joined by an older fellow who gave her everything he owned, then he started fishing for her while she took a nap.

All of this strangeness has been a bit more than I can handle, so I have booked an earlier flight home.

    Much love,
      Sun-Li

Yep.  It was funny, these two random tourists showed up at the fishing hole and just hung around the family for the day, so it got me thinking of how odd this crew would seem to an outsider.

Haha, that's a great take on this - how crazy is this family? Well why don't we ask someone from another country!

I don't think we'll be seeing much from Sun-Li for a long, long time.

Finally got a chance to sit and read this!  LOL!  I don't even know where to start... other than to say that I love this family and I love their interactions with you.
