I'm also leaning towards Tessa. I like her quirkiness. Also, I didn't get the shopping gene so, gnome hunting Yes! Shopping not so much.

Looks like I'll have to follow Barbara's story now!
I'm leaning towards Tessa when it comes to which one I prefer; I like her delicate features and inventors in general.
Well, I certainly hope you enjoy Barbara's exciting tales  :=)
Looks like Team Tessa has arrived!

More Team Tessa!  I find that I generally ignore the gnomes, and they pop up so often, so I just decided she could be obsessed with them since the magic inventor gnome was the third thing she ended up inventing.

See? I'm right about Tess is 'daddy' look alike. (LOL. me bragging over here) She is getting the face shape from the Mithrilens side.
I've been playing with Fintan too much to not notice the eye shape, facial structure, nose shape, and... basically all of Tess face screams 'I am Mithrilen's descendant'.

Well, anyway, I've been rambling too much about Tess already. So, be waiting for the time for heir poll then.

PS : Jess looks like an AUNTIE with that hair. She looks OLD.

Well, I may be mistaken, but I believe Team Jess has just shown up.  I'll give the readers a bit more time getting to know the girls, and of course, more time for Mal to complete her LTW before the poll comes up.

I like Tessa. Inventing, dreadlocks, daredevil !?!. . . um, yeah. The winner here is clear.

Ow Gotz! I just realize I got the name wrong when I crosscheck to my post above about who got the 'daddy' looks. The one who 'screams I am Mithrilen's decendants' is Tess. The one looks OLD is Jess. Come on, change your look Jess.

No offence Pippin, but I am Team Tess here as you see from my past posts (mostly about her  ;D).

Amusingly, as soon as she ended up with daredevil, I instantly thought of her as my Dojo child  :=)

Okay, I thought it might have been a name mix up, but I was going with what you'd put.  One more member for Team Tess.

I just read this from start to finish, and I'm hooked. It actually inspired me to create my own legacy story using the same 'character talking' technique. I don't know how to describe it, but it's easier to add humor that way. :P Anyways, Jessie and Tessa are really quite pretty. I don't know who I'd rather be heir(ess)...hmm...

Wow, I inspired you?  What a glorious compliment!  Thank you!  I look forward to reading your legacy and seeing your spin on the "character talking" technique  :=)

The Schlick-Wainwright Legacy--The Adventures of Jess and Tess
« Reply #325 on: May 10, 2014, 06:45:01 PM »

Jessie:  Really?  You're haunting your own urn, dad?

Cody:  WooOoooOOooo, I'm a scary ghost!  And stop calling me "dad."  Everyone's supposed to think I'm your grandpa.
Jessie:  Sure.  And no one suspects anything since Tess looks like a grey you in a wig.
Cody:  I...umm...WooOooOooo, I'm a ghost!

Tessa:  Why are you looking away, Jergnome?  I'm about to make my greatest creation ever!
Jergnome: ...
Tessa:  I'm glad you asked!  Either a drilling machine or a really, really big explosion!
Jergnome: ...
Tessa:  Yes, I'm also excited...and scared.
Pippin:  Fortunately, Tessa doesn't spend all of her time talking to inanimate objects.

Tessa:  Gnomes are alive.  They taught me how to magically phase through doors!
Pippin:  Okay, that's...weird...on the bright side, Tessa found an actual Sim to chat with.

Tessa:  Hey, Hoppcraft boy!
Hoppcraft Boy:  I like your hair.
Tessa:  I like your too.
Hoppcraft Boy:  Maybe we could have adorable dreadlocked nooboos.
Tessa:  Aren't you dating Sophia?
Hoppcraft Boy:  I...that is...yeah...
Pippin:  And while Tessa was flirting with someone else's boyfriend in a graveyard, her sister was writing love notes...

Pippin:  on rulers instead of paper, apparently?
Jessie:  Anyone can write on paper.  I like to stand out.
Pippin:  Hold on, you aren't supposed to be able to hear me yet.
Jessie:  I'm Mal and Ari's daughter.  Do you really expect me to follow the rules?
Pippin:  Valid point.
Jessie:  Now can you let me get back to sharing my intimate feelings?
Pippin:  Intimate feelings?  You're writing love notes to every teen you know!
Jessie:  When I house shop, I like to be thorough.
Young Jessie definitely liked to leave an impression.  Perhaps that's why defacing public property became a new pastime for her.

And she liked adopting new pets.  Just not in conventional ways.

Meantime, young Tessa was enjoying her newest creation:  the driller.

Helen:  Why must you make such noise this late at night!
Tessa:  Sorry, I cant hear you over all the noise I'm making this late at night.

Pippin:  Alright, someone get some torches and pitchforks, we've got an angry mob.
Tessa:  Okay, goodnight everybody!

Jessie:  Umm, I've gotta go, my sister just crawled into my bedroom wall.  I'm probably going to have to help her pull her head out...again.
And the next day brought new adventures for both girls.

Pippin: And here we see nerd gamer Malcolm MacDuff.  MacDuff, as in the fairly wealthy family with the large house.

Jessie:  What a lovely house you have.
Malcolm:  I'm sorry, what?
Jessie:  I said...what lovely...eyes you have.  Yep.  Nice, blue eyes.
And Tessa had adventures of her own.

Tessa:  Magical underground gnome world, here I come!

And some hours later, Mal had an "adventure" as well.

Mal:  Hey, I'm less younger than I used to be when I wasn't this old!
Pippin:  Well, you still look just lovely, Mal.
Mal:  Of course I do!  I mean, have you seen me?  I look like Medb and Mom, but with my hair.

Pippin:  Umm, okay then.  Happy birthday, Mal.
Mal:  And happy birthday to you too, Pippin!
Pippin:  I...that is...my birthday is...never mind.  Thank you, Mal.

Hehehehe! I love Cody's haunting. An even more hilarious update than usual, Pip! I have to admit, although I still like Tess a lot, Jess is quite entertaining in her own snobby way. "I like to be thorough when I house shop." So romantic! Hahaha!

My Sims always crawl into the wall trying to get into their bunk beds! Glad to know I'm not the only one.  I still can't decide between Tess and Jess... they're equally entertaining.

I rather enjoy both girls.  I already have lovely ideas for each girl's leg of the legacy, so I'll be happy regardless of which girl wins the voting.  I think I'll have one more update before I hit voting time.  Mal's pretty darn close with her LTW (and since no time passes age-wise for the kids when they travel, they probably should have hit young adult a while ago).

The wall climbing just cracks me up.  It totally seemed like something that the crazy gnome chaser should do  :=)
