The Schlick-Wainwright Legacy--Best Imitation of Myself
« Reply #105 on: January 28, 2014, 10:10:29 PM »

Health fanatic and family man Dorren still manages to take good care of his physique and his family...even if he is a ghost.

Pippin:  Arienne, you should really stop mocking your poor ghostdad.
Arienne:  But it's fun!  And speaking of fun...

Pippin:  So, now you're pulling the old whoopee cushion prank?
Arienne:  Well, when the goal is complete evil domination, you sometimes have to start small.  Let's see, next thing on the checklist is...find an arch rival!
Pippin:  Is that really necessary?
Arienne:  Too late, already found one.  Hey, Cara!

Arienne:  It's a good thing you have that attention-getting blue hair.  It draws attention away from your ugly face!
Cara:  You don't want to mess with me, Arienne.
Arienne:  Wrong answer!

Pippin:  So, are you happy now?
Arienne:  Delighted!!

Pippin:  Okay, well, I think I'll try not to ever make you really mad.  If we're done here, I guess I'll just go check in on Tipton.
Tipton:  So, Angie, would you, maybe, like to come over...to my house...where I live?
Pippin:  Why is no one in this family smooth at all?

Angie:  So, I hear your dad's a ghost?
Tipton:  Well, he may be, but I am a dancer!
Pippin:  No, please don't show her your plié...oh wait, she liked that.  Nice one.  And I see that Lucien had invited Renae over as well.

Renae:  He was dancing ballet!  It was the most horrendous thing I've ever seen!
Lucien:  It's okay.  I'll protect you.

And thus, all of the potential heirs were enjoying their respective childhoods and the peer relationships which such a age entails.

In furthering the concept of childhood relationships, the trio engaged in that age old tradition of...the slumber party.

Pippin:  Why is one of the guests  teen?
Tipton: She experienced her age up between the time of receiving the invitation and the commencing of our festive gala.
Pippin:  I see.

And, after eating pizza and about 15 minutes of dancing, it's time for sleeping.  It's good, however, that this childhood fun happened, as big changes awaited our young men.

Pippin:  So, I see that you've decided to visit the Dolan household again?
Lucien:  Yep.

Pippin:  Well, take a long look at Susan, because Renae's probably going to grow up to be a green version of her mom.
Lucien:  That's just gross, Pippin.  I don't want to date Renae's mom.
Susan:  What?
Lucien:  Oh, I said...your hair looks great, Renae's mom.
Susan:  Oh, thank you.  What a sweet young man.
Pippin:  Anyway, Tipton decided to have a non-Dolan girl over to visit after school.

Tipton:  I will bludgeon you playfully with a pillow as it is soft and will induce no lasting damage!
Felisha:  Umm, what?
Arienne:  One day, you will both kneel before me.
Tipton and Felisha:  What?
Arienne:  Red shoes.  By the way, you're getting all sparkly, Tipton.

Tipton:  What is th-...Good heavens.  It appears as though I've reached my teen years.
Arienne:  It also appears that you're a sickly excuse for Indiana Jones.
Tipton:  Why do I always resemble movie characters?
Arienne:  Because you're a pathetic excuse for a Sim and the best thing you can do is try to look like people who are actually cool.
Tipton:  Umm, that was a rhetorical question.
Arienne:  No worries.  It was a rhetorical answer.

And when one twin has a birthday, it is no surprise what follows.

Lucien:  Shouldn't I be surrounded by family for this?
Renae:  This is a family.
Lucien:  Oh, well, I kind of meant my family, but I guess you're right.

The day after Chysm's boys aged up, she was disturbed while at work.

Pippin:  Oh look, Dulci went into labor right outside your place of work...and promptly fainted.  Gotta love cowards.

Pippin:  Really, Chysm?  Your unconscious sister is in labor and instead of rushing to her aid you take this opportunity to jeer your boss?
Chysm:  Yes.  Priorities, Pippin.  Priorities.
Pippin:  Well, did you know that Ezzy also had another baby with Bradan?  This one is named Donta.

Chysm:  Don't distract me.  I'm in the zone.
Pippin:  Well, let's see how your only daughter is doing.

Vlad:  Your sheer level of evil is fascinating!
Arienne:  Thanks, Gramps.  So, what was this deal you wanted to talk about?  And I believe you mentioned dinner being involved?
Vlad:  Well, as you know, your aunt Ezzy is actually just a clone, so she's not genetically linked to the family.  Therefore, you and Todd aren't actually related.

Todd:  You're so pretty.
Arienne:  Ugh.  So, you're saying I need to commit to this worthless sloth and then you'll see to my becoming your co-emperor of evil and will be able to dip my hands in your sizeable piggy bank?

Vlad:  That's the deal.
Arienne:  ...I'll have to get back to you.  Now, about this dinner...
Pippin:  Well, I'm not sure that this really counts as a romantic relationship, but at least it's a start.  Who knows, maybe she'll meet the young Dolan boy by he time she's a teen.  Let's check in on the boys...and their aged-up lady friends.

Lucien:  Renae!  You're the loveliest woman I've ever seen.  You are breath-taking.  Truly breath-taking.  Will you do me the honor of attending prom with me?
Renae:  Well, okay.  But did you hear that Bethany already got dumped by her date?  Please don't do that to me or I'll throw a bag of poo at you.
Lucien:  You are such a sweet-talker.  At the risk of being forward, I think I love you.
Renae:  Eh, you're okay too.
Pippin:  And it looks like there's a lady who has eyes for Tipton.

Pippin:  Oh, I meant this one.

Tipton:  You're...I mean...you look...I think you're...
Angie:  Thanks, you're rather handsome yourself.
Tipton:  We could...maybe...that is, if you're not already...we could...maybe...together...to prom...
Angie:  YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Patches:  (Thinking) You will be mine, Tipton.  Oh yes, you will be mine.
Pippin:  And so, we have the boys each hooked up with a Dolan girl (not that I shoved them gently in that direction), an indecent proposal of relationship on the table for Arienne, and Chysm continuing to romance her ghost husband and working away at maxing that music career.  And you, dear readers, will soon be voting for her successor as the heir of this legacy.  And we can only hope Patches will just let Tipton move on with things.

OH my gosh no! I can't vote! That's too hard.
I love Arienne and her awesome personality but the boys are just awesome too... there's no way I can decide!
In other news though - great update Pip. I had to explain several times why I was laughing to my boyfriend therefore your update is quite a success. ;D

Aww, thanks!  I'm always glad to hear that others are enjoying my Sims as much as I am.  I usually lean towards the female Sims as the desired gender for heirs (unless I have a theme going), but I rather enjoy these young gentlemen as well.  I'm rather glad that it will be a vote when it comes down to it as I'm not sure who I'd choose.

I thought I'd seen everything in the Sims, but Tipton trying to impress a girl by showing off his plie was just priceless.

Well, I think any self-respecting man would want to dazzle his potential lady-love with ballet, right?  It was just a fun moment of convenience that she came over and I noticed that "show off" was an option, so I went with it.  I'm also loving some of the autonomous things this crew has been doing in those moments when I'm not a control freak  ;=)

Oh gosh, haha! What is with these amorous imaginary friends! Isn't it a bit conceited, to make your own imaginary friend attracted to you? I see the boys are already snagging up some prospective rainbow mates. Excellent choices. I feel bad for Tod; he has no idea what could be lying in store for him.  ::)

I had a strange feeling you'd like the idea of rainboos  ;=)  I think Susan Dolan is lovely in an unconventional way, so I was definitely hoping the boys would like her girls.  Lucien is adorably smitten with Renae.  When they came together as teens, he popped 5 or 6 wishes in a row about hugging or kissing or star gazing with her.
Every time that Ari would go to visit the grandparents, Vlad and Todd would both come out, but Vlad would dominate the conversation, so I just rolled with it.
Tipton is awkward, and his IF is creepily close all the time, but I think Angie is totally gorgeous.

Actually, Renae s a twin, but she aged up with her older sister (Angie) instead of with her twin brother (who is still a child).  Not sure how/why that happened, but it works well for the boys.
Arienne is cool, and she'll be related to whoever you want as long as there's money and a chance to do evil in it  ;=)

The Schlick-Wainwright Legacy--Love Is In the Air
« Reply #114 on: February 02, 2014, 08:45:46 PM »

When love is in the air, and a young man's heart is all aflutter, he will sometimes do bold and reckless things.

Pippin:  "Bold and reckless" apparently means having a first kiss in front of his mom.  How are you feeling about this, Chysm?
Chysm:  Well, a boy has to grow up and spread his wings sometime...but if any boys try that with Ari, I will end them!
Pippin:  Easy there, mama bear!  I think that little girl can handle herself just fine.  And on the subject of taking care of things, Tipton had to move fast with Angie, because the word on the street was that she was having some romantic connection with this fellow.

Pippin:  However, Tipton and Angie are now dating and are ready to head off to prom in this fantastic limo that Pippin Enterprises arranged.

Pippin:  Wait, why are you each getting in a separate taxi?  There's a perfectly good limo right there.  You could at least share a taxi!!  Kids these days.  Anyway, Chysm wasn't the only sister having fun times with her kids.

Pippin:  Ezzy, Todd, and baby-to-be-announced moved into this new home.  They moved there without Bradan even though he is the father of both children and he and Ezzy are still together.  Anyway, Dulci is helping to ensure that she does not ruin Chysm's chances at being voted mother of the year.

Pippin:  Yep.  She just put the baby out on the front walk and then went inside.  She's treating her son about as well as Arienne has been treating Cara.  Cara, however, has managed to age up to teen before young Arienne.

Arienne:  I already have plans for her, don't worry.  Being older does not get her out of being my arch rival.
Pippin:  And in happier news for Cara, she has a boyfriend.
Arienne:  And now I have even more plans for her.
Pippin:  And your less-frightening siblings had a great time at prom.  Tipton impressed Angie with his...chicken dance.  I'm not entirely sure what she sees in that boy, but I'm certainly glad she sees it.

Pippin:  Meantime, Lucien became prom king and wowed Renae with his mad, crazy dance moves...and maybe some other types of moves too.

While the day of prom brought dancing and romance, the day after prom brought the maturing of Chysm's youngest child.

Pippin:  Are you sure your mom wants you to cake up first thing in the morning?
Arienne:  Gee, I think I forgot to ask permission.  Ah well.  It'd be a shame to waste these lovely candles.

Lucien:  Hey, look how grown up you are, sis!
Tipton:  Actually, she's still growing as "teen" is simply a developmental stage.
Lucien:  I was being kind and supportive.
Arienne:  Whatever, dudes.  Cue the music for the fashion show.

Pippin:  Where are you going now?
Arienne:  To get in some family time.

Arienne:  So, that's my plan to bring menace into Cara's world.
Vlad:  You will make a wonderful empress of evil.  Speaking of, have you considered my offer?
Arienne:  I'm still thinking about it.  I'll let you know.  Anyway, I have evil to carry out.
Pippin:  Alright then...let's check in on Lucien.

Lucien:  I'm so glad that fate brought us together, Renae.
Renae:  Fate?  You were creeping around my house all the time when we were kids.  I think it's more amazing my parents never called the cops.
Pippin:  Okay, let's check in on Tipton...who's at work...so never mind.  Let's check in on Chysm.

Chysm:  Hey, Dulci.  Looks like you're put on a few pounds.
Dulci:  What?  I'm pregnant.  Did you just call me fat?
Chysm:  I meant...does the baby like red shoes?
Pippin:  And back to Arienne we go.
Arienne:  Nice looking lollipop there, kid.

Arienne:  Thanks for sharing.
Pippin:  Your great scheme is to steal candy from babies?
Arienne:  Nope, just passing time until my guest arrives.

Pippin:  Wait, isn't that Cara's boyfriend?
Arienne:  Not for long...

Ok, yup, I think this chapter solidified who I want for heir in mind. Haha I adore your writing Pip, and I must say that the boys are quite like their mama... and Chysm doesn't even need to worry about Arienne getting kissed by boys as she'll likely be the initiator.
I really can't wait to see how Arienne makes a strike at her arch rival.

Well, I'm certainly intrigued as to your favorite.  I felt bad that I didn't really have much more for Tipton in this.  He popped the wish for an after school job, so he's mainly done school, work, and schoolwork when he wasn't sleeping or calling Angie.
I'm glad you are enjoying my writing.  I enjoy yours as well  :=)

Cara is in serious need of stylist's advice! A proper rival needs a proper style, like in this photo I have from her teen years:

P.S. Is Cara's soon-to-be-ex boyfriend son of Ava and Sean Kelly? He looks like he could be.

Looks like the voting won't be too far away! Can we get close ups of each of their faces? It's hard to figure out which parent's features they inherited. Arienne seems to look a great deal like her dad though. Not sure about the boys.

Yep, that's Sean and Ava's boy.  If Arienne ends up being the heir, I might have to do a makeover on Cara.  However, we must bear in mind that Cara is being made to be an archrival and didn't actually choose that role.

I think I'll be doing one more update before we move into the voting.  Two at the most.  I'll have close-ups of each of the kids and the announcement of their LTW's before the voting starts.
