The Schlick-Wainwright Legacy--Two of Us
« Reply #75 on: January 14, 2014, 07:28:29 PM »

Pippin:  Okay, Chysm, Aaron might have been kind enough to invite you to his swimwear-themed party, but it was a party celebrating his wedding.  I hate to break it to you, but I don't think he's interested, and waking him up while he's sleeping with his new wife to ask him about it is a bad idea!
Chysm:  So, Aaron, I'm a little uncertain about our relationship...

Aaron:  Buy a clue, little girl!  I'm not interested in you.  You were just some fun before I tied myself down to Siobhan.  Now get out of here!
Chysm:  Oh, that clears things up.  Thanks for the talk.
Pippin:  ...do you need to talk about it?
Chysm:  Nah, I'll just steal some yogurt from his fridge.  That'll show him.

Recovering in record time from her horrendous slight at the hands of Aaron, our beloved virtuoso founder turned her energy to plying her craft when she saw a face that brightened hers.

Dorren:  Hello, gorgeous.
Chysm:  Hello yourself.
Pippin:  So, I take it you've gotten over Aaron?
Chysm:  Well, he did marry Siobhan, so if he can move on, so can I.

Pippin:  Wasn't Dorren seeing someone, though?
Chysm:  Yes, he was seeing that jealous-looking woman right over there.

Dorren:  Are you talking to the voice in your head again?
Chysm:  Oh, umm, yeah.  So, did I mention those red shoes?
Dorren:  Yes, every time you get nervous.

And after she ruined her beloved's current relationship through jealousy, she took him to a coffee-vending establishment, and this was the setting in which she went out on the proverbial limb.

Chysm:  So, if you don't have plans for the rest of your life, maybe we could not have plans together?
Dorren:  Of course, my love.  I'd be honored to spend the little bit of time I have left with you.
Chysm:  Little bit?
Dorren:  I am 84.
Pippin:  Well, looks like you'll need to hurry things along.

Pippin:  Oh.  Well done.  That was really quick.  In fact, you aren't even married yet.  What would your family say?
Chysm:  Oh.  I guess I should mention this to them.  Good thinking.

Regarding matters of the family, they are still active members of the community,

and young Berucca has moved out and has taken up her own residency.

Dulcnea, in the meantime, moved in with Susie Sackholme.

Chysm:  Do you think I'll be a good mom, Ben?
Ben:  What do I know about moms?  I hatched from an egg!  You were there for me right away, though, so I guess you'll be fine.

Chysm:  I think I might still feel bad about Aaron acting like I wasn't good enough for him.
Ben:  I could always bring a fiery torment to that jerk and his jerk-wife.
Chysm:  You're a good friend, Ben.
Pippin:  Well, you seem to have some lovely chats with your little dragon-friend, but have you chatted with your family about your engagement and pregnancy, Chysm?

Chysm:  Well, I figured it might go over a little better if we were married first.
Pippin:  Interesting idea there.  And an additional bright side, wedding means wedding gifts.

Chysm:  Wow, looks like something amazing is coming into our home right now.
Pippin:  Oh, you got a really nice gift?
Chysm:  No, the baby's coming!!!

Dorren:  Hello, my dear.  Anything exciting happen while I was out?

Chysm:  The baby's coming!!
Dorren:  AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And thus, our first option for the next heir arrived...as did our second.
The first-born child was Lucian.  He is easily impressed and loves the outdoors.

And his slightly younger brother, Tipton, is a genius and is eccentric.

While we know these interesting traits about the boys, one thing about them is still up the air...

Oh gosh, I didn't see that coming! Although, I probably should've. Chysm is . . . unusually 'outgoing' for being shy.  ;D

HAHAHA That's exactly what my question is since the laast post (before this one).

Somehow I had a feeling Siobhan wouldn't be a happy camper soon enough...

Shame on me! I haven't commented on this story for quite a few updates now.

Chysm seems to be doing rather well in her founder's life. This "outgoingly shy" attitude of puts her in more than a few hilarious situations.

I do wonder what she was thinking marrying and having kids with Dorren though. Chysm always seemed the steady and conventional girl in the family to me. I figured her for the marry young, football mom, aging grey grandparents on the front porch kind of type. But it seems that there is more to her than meets the eye! Let's see how she'll do with twin boys!

Well, "shy" is only an issue when you don't know people.  She knows both of her fellas.

Poor Siobhan.  I don't know why Chysm immediately disliked her, but it's been a fun addition to the story  :=)

I don't think any of my girls would have been the "conventional" types.  However, part of it was prompted by Chysm's wishes and the other part was dictated by story progression.  She only "sparked" with the two guys (and believe me, I was forcing my poor, shy Sim to meet all sorts of people), and one of those guys got married.  She took the only option she had left...other than having her horrible and cruel Watcher force her into a marriage.

I think the babies are Aaron's, because Dorren and Chysm's skin colors should create bluish or maybe aqua nooboo, but definitely not green. But, again, I'm scrap in determining Sims genetics, so leave that unnoticed if my thoughts weren't right  ;)

I'm betting on ol' Aaron for this one. One of the babies had a hint of Green, which looked very similar to Aaron's hint of green.

I'm just glad Chysm found someone she wanted to marry. I'm all for her just being awesome and enjoying her life!
Also a warm welcome to Lucian and Tipton! They're going to be gorgeous like their mama. ;)

Colring in Sims is kind of odd.  When I first saw Dorren, I thought he was a vampire because of his coloring.  He's not.

So, a couple of guesses of Aaron now.  The main thing is that they're Chysm's and that they'll be raised by a parent who loves them.  Not sure how long Grim will let Dorren stick around.  I want to make sure that Chysm has at least one more nooboo before she becomes a single mom.  Yep, that's me being a heartless, insensitive Watcher  :=)

The Schlick-Wainwright Legacy--Everybody Hurts...Sometimes
« Reply #84 on: January 17, 2014, 11:18:30 PM »

Our young founder was thoroughly occupied with career, loving husband, and twin boys, but she still found time for her dear sisters.

Pippin:  So, Chysm, have you heard Ezzy's big news?
Chysm:  You mean, the news that Ezzy's getting bigger?
Pippin:  Exactly.  As she and Bradan are expecting their first child, she did what all pregnant vampires do...

Pippin:  Sunbathe.  Wait, where'd you go?  Did you and Dorren already leave for the party his daughter Emma is throwing?  Hello?  Anyone?

Dorren:  You look lovely in your costume, even if it is just a mask.
Chysm:  Mrmph mph murumph?
Dorren:  Oh, you know I do!

Emma:  Dad!!  Take your new wife and get out of my house!  You've ruined my party!  I'm so embarrassed!
Pippin:  And that's how you get thrown out of a party.
Chysm:  No worries, I don't like parties anyway.
Dorren:  Best.  Party.  EVER!!

And in the days following that party, some interesting things occurred...

Pippin:  Wow, that must be some really nasty yogurt.
Chysm:  No, I think it's something else.
Pippin:  No, I'm pretty sure that's yogurt.
Chysm:  That's not what I...oh, never mind.

Vlad:  So, you think you made my rock star baby girl pregnant again, huh?
Dorren:  Well, we can just hope the baby gets its looks from mama, right?
Vlad:  Good answer.

Ezzy:  I'll be having a sweet little burrito of my own pretty soon.
Chysm:  Is that why you're dressed like Catwoman?
Ezzy:  ...kind of...

But it was not long until Chysm discovered that Ezzy was not the only one expecting.
Chysm:  Please, let me spin into decent maternity wear.

Chysm:  Oh good, this dress is fine.
Pippin:  You know you're wearing a riding cap, right?
Chysm:  Of course I...no...dang it...

Even as a new pregnancy was underway, the twins sons aged up into their childhood.  Tipton first, followed by Lucien.

Chysm:  Look how old our babies are getting!
Dorren:  Look how old your husband's getting.  I'm already 90.
Chysm:  Don't worry, dear.  You don't look a day over 89 1/2.
Dorren:  Weren't you going to go visit your mother, smart alec?
Chysm:  Yep.  I'll be back soon.  Love you!
Dorren:  Love you too, even when you're a snot.

Chysm:  Great news, mom!  I'm pregnant!  Again!
Susan:  And...that's why you now dress as Wonder Woman?
Chysm:  Well, Ezzy already called dibs on Catwoman.
Pippin:  Why don't you go tell Beruca you're pregnant?  You can even take Lucien so she can actually meet one of her nephews.
Chysm:  Great idea!

Chysm:  Hey, Berucca!  This is Lucien, one of your nephews, and I'm pregnant again!
Berucca:  I have a cat!  Let's play music!

Pippin:  It's possible I overestimated how excited she'd be to meet her nephew.

Pippin:  It's also possible I shouldn't have encouraged Chysm to go anywhere other than home...
Dorren:  Oh no, not now.

Dorren:  Sorry, Tippy.  Daddy's got to go with the nice man in black now.  I'll always be watching over you.  I'll visit when I can.

By the time Chysm arrived home, she was already too late.  The babysitter, Ryan Marerro, had shown up to watch Tipton, and he stuck around so Chysm could have some time to try to gather herself to carry on with her life and her legacy.

Chysm:  Can you watch the boys a little while longer?  I think I could use my family's support right about now.
Ryan:  Of course.

Dulci:  (whispering)  Why are my siblings all dressing as superheroes these days?
Susan:  Chysm, just remember, we're all here for you, sweetie.
Ezzy:  Yep, even baby Todd is here for his auntie.  Aren't you Todd?
Chysm:  He's beautiful, Ezzy.  I...I just...

Ezzy:   It's okay.  We've got you.  And you've got those two handsome boys and this beautiful baby on the way.  They're very lucky to have such a great mommy.
Pippin:  I agree.
Chysm:  Thanks.  I think I'm ready to head back home now.  Thanks, everyone.
Pippin:  Well, it's probably for the best that we get back to the house.
Chysm:  Why is th---OOOWWWW!!!

Pippin:  I hope you weren't too attached to that Wonder Woman costume, because we'll be back to normal clothes in no time.

Chysm:  Ooo, look at my beautiful girl!  You even got your handsome daddy's coloring.  I think I'll name you...Arienne.
Pippin:  What a lovely name.  And I see she's a bit clumsy.  Ohh, and evil as well.  Interesting.

Pippin:  You've got a lovely trio there, Chysm.  Are you sure you'll be alright without Dorren?
Chysm:  Hey, I'm a loner, remember?  Besides, I've always got my family.  And my ridiculous Watcher.
Pippin:  Indeed you do, Chysm.  Indeed you do.

Lucien's hair in the last photo is certainly from Aaron, am I right?

I'm assuming you mean because he's a redhead, but you must recall, Chysm's mom, Susan, is also a redhead.  He could have gotten it from her side.  Additionally, Dorren's daughter, Emma, is also a redhead.  Lucien could have gotten that from either father character or his mother.

Okay, okay... Hey! Don't try to fool me! Both Susan and Dorren's red hair is more like warm orangeish red, while Aaron's is a colder shade, the same with Lucien's.

Or maybe you dyed it to fool us  8)

Best pregnancy clothes ever!
I know, right?  When I downloaded the super hero costumes for the "getting to know you" shots at the beginning of this legacy, I didn't realize they were maternity-friendly.  When both girls ended up in super suits for their pregnancies, I just sat back and smiled as my job entertaining the readers got that much easier  :=)

I won't be changing anyone's hair color, but that would be a pretty mean trick.
I figured you'd focus more on Lucien being green rather than his hair color.  The hair could have come from any of them, but the skin is a bit of a giveaway, I think.
