Most Automated Money Making in Sims 3?
« on: December 22, 2013, 10:54:20 PM »
So, I bought Into the Future. Then I built a PlumBot gardener and added solar powered and efficient. (Of course.) Next, I unleashed him on my money trees. The result? Almost fully automated care of the trees. All I had to do was instruct him to plant newly dropped seeds, optimum fertilize (which only seems to need to be done once per tree thus far), and periodically sell the money bags.

One perfect tree is easily $1.5-2k a harvest. Keep adding trees and the number just keeps going up. Of course, when the grove gets large enough, you'll need another gardener. Still, nothing is perfect.

Meanwhile, you're living large and doing whatever you want thanks to a constant, renewable source of income.

Which makes me wonder - has anyone found an easier way?
A 1920s era house needing heat, AC, new floors, new drywall on the walls and ceilings, new bathroom fixtures, new kitchen cabinets, new water heaters.... The roof is sound, but why didn't I just buy an empty lot?

Well, with all that money, you could eventually just buy everything out in town and have money come in every week simply by clicking on the buildings you own.
This is what I think of Katy Perry's Sweet Treats:

Its get even crazier when you have the Stones Throw DLC I forget its exact name but anyhow every time you talk to the plant using the fertilizer machine and fertilizer option.  It makes the plant grow faster and you are able to harvest the plants multiple times a day.
