I read on the official board that Ophelia's Fishing Spot (whatever it's called), has no water in the pond, nor fish. The ideal player for this town is an angler, but I hope there aren't more dead spots.

All of the fishing spots in Barnacle Bay are in the waters around the island.  For Ophelia's Fishing Hole, there are 4 fishing spots in the water beside the actual lot.

Pam mentioned in my dynasty story thread that the deathfish are under the broken pier in the unmarked beach across from the library.

Thank you so much for this information! My wife and I have been searching everywhere.

Is anyone haveing trouble finding special seeds in BB? All I find are known seeds, unknown uncommon and unknown rare seeds. Also, I only find them at the Lookout and the Hideaway. Does anyone have any other good spots for seeds?

Pam started a topic about the seeds in Barnacle Bay in the general discussion area.  I would put a link to it but not sure how to, sorry. :)

@gerrr00 and tiff_jewels:

I think I have experienced this with a Sim sleeping.  I was able to cancel the "stuck" action and give a new command, which fixed the glitch.  It happened before I downloaded Barnacle Bay, so I don't think it's related.  If it keeps happening, please post it on the Technical Help board.

Pam, I posted about this random "freeze" on the Technical Help board just now.  It is pretty random and does not necessarily happen only with sleep.  I never had it happen before I installed Fast Lane and Barnacle Bay.

I noticed a really nice feature in BB. There is a beach club next to the spa, which any player can use, and by the pool they have several easels and telescopes set up. There is also a telescope at one of the small parks.

I think you get them near the old ruined pier at the beach near the library. I could be wrong though, I know that's where you get death fish. Otherwise, try Ophelia's spot, I know that's where you get robot fish.

I found Vampire Fish in the same spot as Deathfish, at the unmarked beach across from the library and museum under the ruins of the pier.

My BB sim married a townie, and I noticed that when gardening, he speaks with a lilt that sounds like Swedish. I haven't heard this on other sim men I've played, so I'm wondering if it's related to the town, or just to my lack of experience.

Edit: Here's a tip for Kleptos. In my game the empty modern house on the island has a Bwan Speedster and a Kompensator parked there for the taking. You can't sell them for much, but they make your house look great.

Hopefully this is the right thread for this...

I am considering getting Barnacle Bay. I am wondering if anyone has attempted to put LN lots there, a long with ambitions lots? I don't want to buy it unless I can fit a good portion of the new bars/clubs, plus ambitions lots, there.
