Oh, buggah.  (best Jack Sparrow accent I could come up with)  I want it NOW!  Well, shiver me timbers matey it's full speed ahead with what I have till it arrives.  So many new goodies, so little time...(and cash).  Thanks for posting this.  I had missed it.  I can just see the challenges Metro will come up with for this place!

Sorry, it costs 1650 simpoints. How do I know that? Well, there's an interview about this on IGN. ;D

Wow, that is not to far away.  EA sure likes to spring things on a person.  There is going to be alot of gameplay in the coming months.  Sounds pretty cool.

And on that site it also says 'There is also Buccaneer's Bounty, a pirate-themed clothing and object set available in The Sims 3 Store' so that will be more simpoints one will be needing.   :(

If it costs 1650 Sim Points, then I can be perfectly happy with SV + RV for now, plus I ordered ambitions 2 days ago and will be getting that new world and skills and things too!

Arghh, might have to give in and actually buy some simpoints, although, if I get some for buying and registering Fast Lane and Late Night, I might be right!

It didn't say a price, but this:
Barnacle Bay will be available exclusively at The Sims 3 Store for a yet to be determined price point on September 23, 2010.

They must have changed the article after I linked to it. I'm absolutely positive it said 1650 points before. I guess EA changed their info. :-\

I just read that article about 30 minutes ago and it still had the price in there, strange.  Oh well, hopefully it will be less this time.  Honestly, I saw it too, so you were not seeing things, lol. :)

Maybe they decided it was too much and are going to bring it down in price. We can only hope.

Y'know, the way the Official Announcment sounded...It sounds like it'll be like a WA location, instead of a town...Or you could play it like a town. I'm more excited about the suggestion of a camp site, personally. I've tried making some with buydebug and setting up spaces on different park or beach locations, but...I can't set them up for sims to use.  :(
