The Coastal Family in Barnacle Bay have 24 Life Plants in their garden, full grown with fruit on them.  They have a huge garden, lots of lettuce and grapes.  Also Rose Rome has Life Plants but not nearly so many.  I am finding it fun to explore the town.

Wow! I foresee dynasties starting here, with no need for gardening skills!

I think I sill buy this place. I mean, I have the points, so what is the point in not buying it if it is really that cool as anyone says here.

Hope there will be new objects too.

I have only found 2 spawn areas for seeds.  I have not collected any special seeds, there have not been any.  The two locations are Lookout Park and Pirates Hideaway.  Anyone else have different luck?

It takes quite some time for some spawners to populate. I'd give it a week and see. I haven't started a game there yet. The locals seem like they'd be fun to play.

Yay, downloaded Barnacle Bay this morning. A nice EA customer service tech manually transferred the simpoints to my correct account. Haven't had a great deal of time to look around yet, but it looks nice. Bit disappointed that the Ambitions lots are not placed automatically.

The little Pirate couple sure do make cute little toddlers.  LOL  I wish the houses were a bit nicer but then it seems as if the families have a bit more money so you can at least fix them up a bit.  There seems to be a lot of butterflies on all the lots.  I haven't even looked for seeds yet as I have been exploring the houses.  There is a really cute little repair lady.

One thing I don't like is that there is a grave at the campground.  My Sim went there and started crying.  Now that wasn't fun at all!  I might end up deleting it.

At the campground too? That whole town is riddled with graveyards! I bet that town is hopping with ghosts at night! Maybe I'll make my first ghost-buster in BB.

Is Barnacle Bay a town like Sunset Valley and Riverview or a vacation place like france, egypt and china on world adventures?
Or can it be both?
Do you need world adventures to download it?

It can be both a vacation town and a full town. I don't think you need world adventures to start in it. I would imagine you would need it to travel there.

Barnacle Bay is a town like Sunset Valley and Riverview.  When you start a new game and choose your town, Barnacle Bay is one of the choices if you have it downloaded.

Ok, let me see if I can make it more clear.

Barnacle Bay is a town like Sunset Valley and Riverview.  When you start a new game and choose your town, Barnacle Bay is one of the choices if you have it downloaded.

You cannot get to Barnacle Bay as a vacation destination like Shang Simla, Al Simhara, and Champs Les Sims.

It's a regular town that has pirate sounding names and a couple of pirate outfits and decor items.

If anyone believes differently, please offer an explanation.
