Problems downloading Riverview

I was trying to download Riverview from the Sims 3 site, and it was not working. I tried several times. It did not show up in my downloads, it only showed a message that said "There was an error while downloading content. Please see the log for more details."
Any idea what this means, and how I can get it working?
