Adding a Plumbot to a family causes save corruption

Hello,

I've looked around for this problem, but couldn't find it anywhere.  My saves are fine, until my Sim made a Plumbot.  I use 'Save as' every few minutes and the save just before without the bot is fine, but loading my save post bot ends in a black screen with a message stating that the save is unable to load.     Could it be a mod or a game issue?  Anyone else have this problem?

I haven't heard of this problem yet, but my first suggestion is to go back to the good save and try the whole process again to see if the same thing happens after adding a Plumbot to the household.  It could also be a mod, as you mentioned.  If you're using mods, try removing them and see if it happens again.
