Where do you find smithsonite in sunset valley??

My sim is in sunset valley and I cant find smithsonite anywhere!! I know it was new with this expansion along with vampires eye which I can find but no smithsonite and my sim has been doing nothing but collecting gems for the last 5 days straight! Anyone know where I can find it or why I cant???

I don't think they are smithsonite spawners in Sunset Valley.  I usually find my smithsonite via mining, you can buy the miner from the consignment store.
