Inga showed up to a party with maternity wear, soon there will be little cousin for our coming heir.

Lester want's a Bonehilda and his wish is King. She enjoys playing in the backyard when the maids are done for the day.

Grim came for Lollo as soon as she got promoted to level seven. She begged for more time to read enough books to get more HP, but had to leave this world with only a medium stone (so far I have been unable to get the spouses more than a medium one, and Lollo even grew up in the house! Bad Watcher!). R.I.P. Lollo 54 days.

Elna ages up to adult and once again is struck with the hair do that doesn't fit her face.

Maj and Michel has found each other and love.

This is Michel's roommate, the annoying paparazzi Simone. Since she lives with Michel, she now feels free to barge into the house when ever she is around and follows the family everywhere (including the bathroom) with no shame.

Maj and Michel takes their relationship to the next level, Maj has commitment issues so this is as far as she is willing to go at this point.

Kent meets up with Sally Gulley who is the daughter of Jared and granddaughter of Hans. She is a fairy just like her mother.

Inga does some wild moves, including placing a plate through her head.

Maj found out she was expecting.

The boys try to stay fit.

Elna shows Maj that she could have gone to Uni if she wanted to (I've never used this interaction before and thought it was neat.)

Maj tells Michel that since he's going to be a father...

...she's ready to make him an honest man.

Kent invites his high school crush over once she is old enough and asks her to move in.

With all these nooboo's around Elna's biological clock has started ticking. She really, really want's a nooboo!

Kent and Alana are so in love - they decide to get one too!

Now we have three sims wanting to get fit. Kent because he's int he sports career, Alana because she wants to become the Emperor of Evil, and Lester because he want's to become a Master Theif. I don't know if they will be successful, but you can only hope.

Elna visits Maj and Michel and meets Gretchen, their daughter. Can you see the wistfulness on her face?

(Sadly Gretchen seems to have become glitched because this is the last time she is seen in game. She still shows up on the family tree as a baby, even if a LOT of time has passed, and she is not listed as one of the residents int he house. Maybe child services came for her - I simply don't know but I hope not. This is the first time this has happened to me so I'm a bit sad).

Alana has developed a bump and needs a new way to gain athletic skill, since she isn't allowed to work out anymore.

Hurray! Elna has completed all her requirements and takes the traditional romantic picture with her spouse.

Now it is nooboo time!

Elna celebrated the conception of her first child in style :P

She often worked form home checking the alignment of the stars.

She also decorated the kids room with some of the pictures she had of her celestial discoveries.

Since Lester worked nights, Elna found the time to go to parties. Here she meets Inga at Sally Gulley's house.

It's a good thing she was out of the house because Alana picked this night to give birth. Don't you just love the expression of a birthing evil sim as she is fiendishly delighted that her partner is freaking out? It never grows old to me.

Ni'ele came out to play in the toilet, she never did that when alive.

Overcome with happiness because she gave him two daughters (Leila and Nigella) Kent proposes to Alana. They then move out to a house of their own.

When Snowflake day comes around the family trow a gift giving party.

It's the perfect excuse to invite all the relatives over and brag about her impeding motherhood.

This beauty is Inga's daughet Consuelo. She has Emelie's hair color and the Tanner nose.

A few days later when Lester ages up to adult we see how some sims don't like family parties. Poor Nicholas, he looks very put upon to have to attend yet another party.

Our next heir is born and it's a boy. His name is Stefan and he's a friendly genius.

Nils comes out to cheer on the new parents (right after photographing them in bed). Honestly the weirdness that celebrity creates. I hope Stefan will loose whatever celebrity points he has acquired when he moves to the next town because being a celebrity can be tiring.

Stefan looks a lot like his father so far, let's see what other features he'll get as he ages up.

Both Lester and Elna are crazy for nooboo's and deiced to start on the next one right away.

The family rushes through Stefan's training in order to be done in time for the new arrivals.

When ever Stefan has some time free he plays with his favorite toy, the rocket! Maybe he takes after his mother in some ways after all.

Time for his birthday - for once there is only the closest family invited.

Stefan's baldness continues. He gained the eccentric trait.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Here are some pics of me playing with Elna's hidden pyro trait. Stefan is also a pyro - and he also seems to have inherrited Elna's Holophone, that she got from the Future sims LTR.

Anyway, here is what happens when you use the transmorgify interaction:

Elna's second pregnancy resulted in twin girls - Angelica and Victoria.

The family invited all the relatives to celebrate the addition to the family.

Kent and Maj are now alduts, this is Maj's new hair do, it suits her I think.

This is Nigella, the youngest of Kent's twins, she also has Emelie's hair color.

Leila has black hair like many others in the family (Alana's family are all blonds).

Inga came early and stayed the latest, she's a regular party animal!

Oops, seems Elna is pregnant again!

Stefan ages up and looks very much like his dad.

Angelica ages up as well. She's got the unstable trait - I've never played with that before so it should be interesting.

Victoria looks very much like her sister.

Fun fact, I named the girls after two neighbors I had when growing up, they were twins too, and the RL Angelica always had long hair while RL Victoria always had short! Creep right?!

Lester needs HP so the girls need to learn their skills. Since it's the weekend Stefan is forced to help out now that there is one more child on the way. He doesn't seem to mind too much, but I think he's happy kids are a long way off for him.

Lester chose to join the thief branch of the criminal career - soon in a house in your sims neighborhood.

Elna had her next child - or should I say children! Twin girls again, the house will be crazy. I think Lester needs to take time off work to get them all sorted out. Their names are Katarina and Ulrika.

The same night the last two girls joined the household Elna aged up to an elder. She keeps wishing for another child but we kind of have a full house, so she'll have to make do with the ones she already have.

It's a relief when the first two twins age up. First Angelica.

Then Victoria.

Elna has had over 9 days of time off work ever since her pregnancies started. I think both her and Stefan are happy Lester took time off work so they could get out of the house.

Katarina is now a toddler, she is the only one of the children who has blue eyes instead of Lester's brown.

Ulrika is next, she has an interesting eye shape.

Bonehilda was fixing this computer when she somehow became glitched - so we had to sell her. The whole house seems to have become a little buggy and I'm happy we will soon move to a new town.

One of the most interesting thing about sims with the unstable trait is their ability to calm themselves down with a paper bag - this feels like it should also work with neurotic sims.

As the older children go off to school.

Elna and Lester are kept busy at home.

Wow, Elna an elder. It seems like just yesterday that she was an adorable little toddler. :)

The first town is nearly done! Congrats--and here's hoping for minimal glitches until the move.

Yes, Elna's time in the house sure passes quickly. I've now played all the way to the move, but I'm having a friend come visit for a few days so I don't know when I'll start playing again. Maybe I can post a chapter or two before the new year.

The glitches were few in the later days of Lucky Palms and it was a nice town to play in.

Then it was time for the next set of twins to age up. First up was Katarina.

Then Ulrika. I think their brown hair comes from Lester's mother Lina Lancaster or it's random because we don't have anything like it on the Boralis side of the family.

Kent's son Ty is finally old enough to attend family gatherings. He's blond like his mother.

Stefan get's along really well with his cousin Leila, and the girls can finally have some fun together.

Kent and Maj have joined the silver foxes.

Stefan sneaks out at night to his workshop in the garage. He won't tell anyone what he's up to...

...and one morning Jarvis just showed up. Stefan says he should be treated like one of the family.

Sometimes after school Stefan will go to the Bot Emporium to look at the plumbot designs. He can't wait to get out of school so he can pursue something more interesting than calculus. But Elna wants him to go to prom, and since it's four days away he'll get all the school he doesn't want.

I think this acrobat is both scary and adorable :)

Jarvis isn't very advanced yet, and all he has is a cleaner and handibot chip. So he spends most of his time just siphoning power and being lazy (we still have a maid) since he's just one of the family.

Stefan sees Jarvis as a child (and the game recognizes him as one too - plumbots registers as grandchildren in grandchild related wishes!) and spends a lot of time tuning him up.

Time for Angelica and Victoria to age up. Angelica is very much her fathers daughter whereas Victoria takes more after her grandmother Lollo.

Due to an accident when reverse engineering a nanite Stefan went to prom in unsuitable clothing - or lack of clothing to be precise!

He has a memorable picture to show for it :) He also got into a fight, became prom King and a romantic interest with his cousin Leila. He's not sure about how he feels about that. Kissing a cousin could be kind of gross - or?

Lester is now a cat burglar and was arrested for the first time.

The girls spend a lot of time outdoors having fun, watched over by Jarvis and the paparazzi. It's easier to keep them out of the house since two of them are clumsy and break things easily.

Stefan spends most of his time in his garage lab working on discovering nanite designs.

Katarina and Ulrika also had their teen birthdays, they also take after their grandmother Lollo, but have a darker skin color I think comes from their fathers side of the family.

The teens all try to spend time together after school, so that they all reach friends status with each other. The two sets of twins also get a lot of wishes to hang out or play games with their respective twin. Elna spends a lot of her time reading, she maxed out the rebel group and gained the bookworm trait.

When not researching new nanites or developing new trait chips Stefan revers engineers nanites from the Bot Emporium.

Finally, Stefan ages up to YA. He looks a lot like Lester. He decides to become a workaholic because it will help him level a career faster.

He graduates and is voted most likely to burn down the house - I've never had that one before, wonder it it's because he's a pyromaniac? (All the kids has this hidden trait).

Kent's girls Leila and Nigella also graduate. It's a regular family reunion outside City Hall :)

Stefan decides to throw a party at the big park for all the family, sadly the park is full of spoiled food, I know some simmers has this happen a lot in files, but it's only happened once for me. I'm happy we are soon to move out of this town because it's one more sign it's becoming buggy.

Even if the park was a mess, the party was a success with the karaoke machine proving to be the most popular feature. I think at least 5 pairs of sims were on it throughout the party.

Early the next morning there was a fluctuation in the space time continium.

A blue haired dude called Emit jumped out of a strange contraption and handed Stefan what he called a "time almanac".

Stefan was so excited because he finally could get some adventure in his life! He decided to jump on Emit's offer and travel into the future.

In the future there were a lot of sims named Borealis.

They offered him a place to stay, but he felt it would be best if he stayed at the community center, since he was here to work, and not for a vacation.

Even in the future he was a celebrity!

Decendant: I can't believe Stefan Borealis is here, wait till I tell the boys at the office!

Meeting ones descendants gave a nice confidence boost, so Stefan decided to jump right in an apply for a job at the Bot Arena.

Stefan found the future and the past to be about the same. The main difference being that the future paparazzi all were plumbots.

He tried various disguises to blend more with the locals, but they always recognized him and took his picture regardless of his efforts.

To further his career, and complete the Domo Arigato skill challenge, Stefan focused most of his free time on befriending plumbots. One of the better places to be was the library.

He also tried to meet some normal sims, but their constant talk about the weather bored him.

He became obsessed with finding a way to give a plumbot sentience since he decided on the More than a Machine LTW.

He also read two books to help himself gain more work experience. He wondered why no one in the present had come up with the great e-book reader idea yet?

Time flies in the future as in the present, and so one day Stefan aged up to adult. It was almost time for him to go home. He just needed to level the final two steps of his career and make some best friends first.

His remaining days in the future was spent collecting wild nanites for the 4x4 collection...

...and finally reaching the top of the Bot Mechanic career. He all he needed now was to complete his final skill challenge and become a Micro Master, but since he could do that just as well back at home, he decided time to see his family once again was now rather than later.

Back home time had not stood still, just moved at a slower pace, so Angelica and Victoria were now YA's.

Jarvis had taken up soaking up the sun because of the solar powered chip he'd gotten just before Stefan went into the future.

Stefan's first order of business when coming back was to compete his LTW and grant Jarvis sentience.

As soon as Jarvis had a will of his own, he decided to leave the house and take up his own rooms away from humans.

Katarina and Ulrika also aged up and graduated. All the girls also got the Most likely to burn down the house reward. Does anyone know if it's tied to the pyromaniac trait? Because it sure seems that way.

Both Lester and Elna were rolling wishes for their children to get married. The family really didn't know many eligible men, just old men in fact, so Angelica decided to stalk out the library and met Kurtis Watts.

Kurtis was a wearwolf with two previous children, it was love at first sight and Angelica moved out to her new family.

Victoria was the next to leave. She met Dane Flowers outside City Hall when she was delivering a report there and he was staging a protest. Whit a name like Flowers this budding scientist was helpless to resist Dane's allure. He briefly moved into the house but they soon found a place of their own.

After many rolled wishes the family tried another Bonehild coffin, this one was less interested in hopscotch and more in ogling the family.

With so many new branches on the family tree a large party was held so everyone could get to know each other. Angelica's two step children, Tessa and Ti-Ning, came.

Another guest was Ulrika's beau, Andrew Bader, the only boy they attended school with. Andrew and Ulrika had recently run of and held a secret marriage ceremony at the casino.

Katarina: So, when are you going to tell them the news?
Ulrika: That we are married?
Katarina: No, that's not what I meant.
Ulrika: That I', moving in with Andrew?
Katarina: NO! The other thing?
Ulrika: Oh, that I'm pregnant you mean?
Katarina: Yes!
Ulrika: When the baby is here I guess...

There was another guest who was most eagerly awaited, Leila's and Nigella's brother Ty.

Katarina had always considered him bland and kind of boring (not to mention a bit to blond) but once he became a wearwolf, he gained a certain something that she just couldn't resist.

Three days later, at another family party, Ulrika's water broke the news, she was having a baby - Elna and Lester were going to be grandparents!

Andrew turned out to be completely useless, so Lester rushed Ulrika off to the Hospital. Danial Bader, a healthy boy joined the familytree.

While Lester and Ulrika were at the Hospital Angelica entertained the family with the Laser Rhythm-a-con Stefan had gifted her after he came back from the future.

I have never played a house where the ghosts have been out and about this much before. Every night at least two of them are haunting the lot, Bonehilda doesn't seem to mind a bit.

After the birth of their first grandchild Elna and Lester now wants five. I was a bit confused as to how they could already have two grandchildren counting towards their five (when only one had been born) so Stefan created another plumbot to see if my suspicious were true. Meet Beebop, their third grandchild.

It seems that a plumbot will count towards a grandchild just as well as a regular grandchild. This is a great way to quickly get them ten grandchildren.

After a very awkward romancing (Katarina is evil and socially awkward, Ty is unfliry and good) they finally tied the knot. I had to get the Master Romancer LTR for Katarina because every three interactions their friendship level would plummet.

One morning Grim came for Elna just as she was getting up from her pre-party nap.

She begged Grim to come back later in the day because she really wanted to pillowfight Angelica one last time, but Grim was unmoved. R.I.P. Elna 58 days old. (58 is the longest a sim in this game has held on so she really had a great life.)

Elna's death made Lester realize how fleeting life was, and he became the first Borealis to actually want to retire. His celebration was well attended.

After tireless work Stefan is now a Micro Master and has finished his requirements.

It was hard because he was so broken down about his mother's passing. He also didn't feel comfortable leaving his father alone yet, so he decided to wait until Lester had joined his mother in the afterlife before he moved to the next town.

The family continued to come over for parties, the girls often took the time to mourn their mother.

Elna came to visit Stefan the night he completed his requirements and told him how proud she was. She also thanked him for spending time with Lester. Even if Lester's age bar said he had only lived 55 days, his former life as a fairy had spanned generations so death must be a scary concept to him.

Lester will be the first spouse to gain a large tombstone since he both completed his lifetime wish and raised five children. He spent the last days of life enjoying the things he did in his youth, like gardening at the community garden.

All this free time allows Stefan to check up on strategy on the forum, and he decided to change one of his traits with the brain enhancing machine. To be family friendly is most definitely a big plus as a founder and heir, and he gladly traded his workaholic trait for the chance to get more HP.

It was also nice to know that the next generation was on it's way, and that the Borealis name would live on in Lucky Palms even after he went on to the next town. Stefan and Lester had given it a lot of thought and decided that other than a few thousand simoleons to get started in the new town - Lester should leave the rest of the money to his daughters and grandchildren.

Angelica didn't have any children of her own, she was to busy with her stepchildren. Victoria had triplets, the girls Ariana and Anitra and a boy named Noah. Katarina had twins, a girl named Meghan and a boy named Roderick. All in all Lester had six grandchildren to spoil.

And so one night when they were watching TV the sparkles came.

Lester was happy to go, he had lived far longer than most sims. He had family and friends, he had achieved a lot of happiness and joy (over 170,000 HP) and now he was joining his Elna in the ever after. What more could a sim wish for? R.I.P. Lester 58 days.

Stefan no longer had anything keeping him from going, so he loaded up the computer to sell the properties and buildings the family had collected and asked to move to a new town.

Stefan has now completed all his requirements to bring in the next heir. But he has failed to find anyone in Lucky Palms he wants to romance. So, he's waiting until the next town to bring in the heir. He's sure that four days will be plenty of time to find the lady of his dreams in...

The Borealis family owns all buildings and properties in Lucky Palms, when sold they netted a nice 4,895,415 for the properties and unclaimed rents. I think Elna's and Lester's decendants will do very well with the chunk of cash left to them :)

They also left behind the four large tombstones needed (family graveyard from left to right: Dinah the cat, Emelie, Sylvester, Erik, Eileen, Ni'ele the cat, Nils, Lollo, Elna and Lester). The large tombstones are provided by Emelie, Erik, Nils and Elna.

The four career rewards were collected by Nils in his work as a Private Investigator.

The family four collection (not the highest value but something that meant a lot to each heir and something that fit well with their personality).

Value of Lucky Palms collection:

4 mixed potions 0 simoleons.
4 plasma bugs 13,600 simoleons
4 vials of stardust 8,120 simoleons
4 mixed nanites (uber, entropic, optic, dispersion) 1,636 simoleons

Total value of: 23,356 simoleons
