Haha, their parents’ behavior just unbelievable! I just wonder what she will wish for. Don’t say if this related with armpit like her hubby :P

There is not a lot of progress in the requirements department yet other than real estate. The family now owns around half of the buildings in town and will soon start collecting on rents.

Otherwise the family is growing and I'm kept busy trying to fulfill all the kids wishes.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Emelie also wanted a makeover and she wanted a new formal outfit - so like a proper sim. Unlike Sylvester, Emelie only gained 8 more days, so now she is the oldest in the house.

After a promotion Emelie is back in the normal science costume. She got a call about a job opp her second day at the job, but didn't take it in case some future heir will need it. The sacrifices a founder makes.

The "pants" continue to be popular with the Borealis kids. Andrea is a genius like her siblings, Emelie is so proud!

Erik grows into teen-hood as his fathers lookalike. He even has the same hair. He gets the ambitious trait.

Susan is also newly ambitious, and shows a keen fashion sense - this is one of the nicer game generated outfits I've seen in a long time.

Erik continues to sport the tight ITF pants. True to their new ambitious nature they all roll a wish for a job, and head over to the grocery store to sign up.

Say hello to Majken, she's friendly and loves the outdoors. It seems the adoption agency has run out of hats.

With teenagers comes the wish and need for wheels. To bad the wishes to teach to drive don't carry over like the toddler wishes do. Emelie and Erik practice in his new car.

And Sylvester teaches Susan in hers.

This really shows that Sylvester's and Christopher's genes will survive for a long time :)

Emelie came up with a new way to skip work - a nooboo. Maybe this time the child will look more like her?

Majken grows up to look a lot like her sister Andrea. Finally a child doesn't have to wear the same pants :)

Sylvester is over the moon with the house full of kids and one more on the way. He doesn't even get upset when the toilet overflows.

Here's the culprit. Poor Susan has been having mood swings since she became a teen. Erik on the other hand has had the best of moods. She visited the elixir store and rolled a wish to become an alchemy artisan, so she'll be going back there for more elixirs, she is also supplementing the family income by consigning items there.

Andrea has her teen birthday cheered by the boy Susan invited home from school - I forget his name. Susan had abandoned him to go to work. Andrea naturally became ambitious and since prom is right around the corner used a friendship potion before asking the boy to be her date. (More wishes for the Watcher).

Emelie's pregnancy has run it's course and she gives birth to twins. First I couldn't realize why, but Andrea's favorite music is kids music so she must have switched over to that at some point. No matter, only two more to go until Sylvester has his eight.

I really loved your Aurora-Dynasty, I think it was the first dynasty I read completely. My favourite was Julia, maybe cause we share the same name.  ;)
It's so nice that you gave Emelie the chance to have her own family, she turned out to be a great mom and Sylvester is surely the most caring and proud dad ever.
And all these cute kids, aww. I'm so totally bookmarking this!!   ;D

Wow, what a family. :D Are those the infamous Steel lips I see on miss Lillian? Either way, the new additions are adorable!

Thank you maisie! It's always nice to hear others liked my ID :) And it's nice to hear you will be following this, even if I don't think it will be as good a story - since I want to play it faster.

@Raia - yes the family is taking over! I am working with not micro managing everything (that thread about simming habits made me think I should try to break some of mine :P ). So, other than making the kids all do their homework and compulsively checking if they have any wishes to fulfill they are left mostly to their own devices. Frankly there are so many of them that I don't have time to be on top of everything, especially not when trying to play on at least speed 2.

Those could be the Steel lips, but otherwise she is mostly her mothers daughter. I actually think Ninni might be one who's more of a mix than the others.

It will be interesting to see how they look when they get older :)

Did you use pattern when it comes to chose name? I know some people who give their Sims name after their favourite character, based on town or based on their precious one in the real life. So how about yours :D ?

When I think about Sylvester, I always remember about Tweety from one of my favourite cartoon! I'm curious about Majken and Ninni name, because their name were unusual in my ear.

Actually Sylvester is named after a character in a book, but other than that I tend to just name my sims with whatever comes to mind. I usually use Swedish names (Majken and Ninni are not super common but common enough) and names of people I met that day.

The kids are cute and adorable. Borealis' really a big family... I just wonder how did you survive the chaos ;D

I'm not sure I will - I'm going in game now to see how I can work through the madness ;)

The house is full and there are children everywhere. It doesn't help that a genie or two or a couple of school friends stop by each day either. The family has added some more tables in the same ramshackle style as before. Everything to make sure they keep up the appearance of not having too much money. So far it's been working because not a single thief has tried their luck.

Susan wears her work uniform a lot.

Susan: But mom, they said only special people get to wear this, and it's great for stacking cans.
Emelie: Darling, I don't think they mean special the same way you do.
Susan: You don't mean...?

Despite the full house Emelie and Sylvester take the time for romance.

Emelie: What exactly are we looking at here? New lights?
Sylvester: Keep your voice down! I told the kids we were in the backyard - now give me a kiss before they figure it out!

It seems a love for children is in Sylvester's genes. Despite not having the family oriented trait Erik is constantly rolling wishes to snuggle his sisters. He can't wait till he gets one of his own.

Time rushes by and Lillian (left) and Ninni (right) are children now. I'm not really sure who Lillian will resemble yet, but Ninni is an Alvi through and through, except maybe for the lips. They both become geniuses to please their parents.

Prom comes on the day before Spookyday so the teens can stay out after curfew if they wish. It's all pants this year and they are excited to go. Andrea's date didn't pick her up but met her at the school.

The level of grime and general disgustingness at the house has risen to the level where child protection services might be called at any moment. A maid was hired to prevent this.

He makes himself home and attends Majken's birthday party.

With the other teens at prom and her younger sisters in bed Majken gets a precious gift, time alone with her parents. To bad all they do is complain about her prankster sister Susan.

In high spirits after a great night the teens come home to find their parents slow dancing in the living room. Grossed out the hurry of to bed.

Emelie: Are you sure you want more of those moody brats?
Sylvester: We both think they are adorable when they are having those mood swings, don't try to deny it.
Emelie: But we simply don't have room for more kids at the moment.
Sylvester: That doesn't mean we can't practice making some more...

Susan got into three fights, all of them because she was looking at someone else's date in a funny way - maybe she should have put more effort into getting a date of her own...but thanks to her skills of persuasion and liberal amounts of family funds she walked away as prom Queen.

Andrea was half of the proms most dynamic duo and really heated up the dance floor - especially when she did the chicken dance! She and Johnathan Hudson shared their first kiss and decided to go steady :-*

Erik got drinks thrown in his face twice because he asked someone to dance, he also fell on the dance floor while attempting some not so smooth moves and got laughed at! But he still managed to snag the title prom King.

Sylvester takes Andrea driving and she really hates it. Three times she jumps out of the car complaining it's to stressful, and I think Sylvester think it's stressful too because one of the times he hightails to the casino for some retail relaxation. After Susan sent her some SimLife goggles she can finally get her license.

Erik is more interested in studying and taking it easy than the rowdy family life he has. So he sneaks away to the library for some study time.

And then the day arrives - time to be a YA. Susan goes first and decides to try on the same pair of pants Erik was wearing - this time I'll spring for a makeover. She becomes a genius to make her mother happy.

Erik's similarities to Sylvester continues, he even channels him in another time and gets the same top!

Though they look a lot alike, Erik actually has his mothers wide head so he is more a mix of his parents than I first thought.

Being the ever good brother, Erik lets Susan throw some elixirs on him, she needs to do it 50 times to meet her LTW so it's time to get going. (Don't worry she just gave him a small skill boost)

Sylvester and Emelie enjoy their last days as the same age as their kids (that's a weird thing to write :o )

Meanwhile Erik has built a small laboratory in the garage. He has some successful experiments and some not so successful ones.

The Borealis clan spend their Sundays at the casino as always. The pool is great for the kids, they just need to add a vending machine and they are set.

Erik hurries over to the hospital to apply for a position, he's been debating about weather or not to go to University first, but he really wants to start a family, so he decides it's more important to reach the top of his career fast.

Susan heads over to the library to throw some of those elixirs she's bought at the store. The residents of Lucky Palms will not be the same...

We end this chapter with Emelie's birthday. She get's an unwelcome surprise.

Emelie: Help! I look like my mother!

(Popp up reads: Emelie is having a mid-life crisis!)

Erik was so adorable and yet responsible brother. I want to hug him too if he was my brother. With the same hair they look alike a lot just with a different hair, let aside the wide head.  Oh, dear. Hope that Emelie could through her midlife crisis!

Oh good grief, Emelie does look like Klara. Almost identical with that hairstyle, in fact. :o

Yeah, Ninni is definitely an Alvi. It will be interesting to see how she and her twin look as they age.

Erik is very child oriented - even without the trait. I think he's going to be a great parent.

Lol, it was so funny that she aged up with that hair - made me almost choke on my laughter :)

I'll post the girls growing up shots later today, I'm happy to say that the Alvi genes keep :)

As Emelie rushed of to the mirror to get her old hairstyle back (and check for wrinkles) Erik decided to help Lillian with her algebra. If the girls got an A early they might even be able to make honor roll - something Emelie really wished for...

But the girls just had the weekend left as children so that never happened. Instead they aged up with the genius trait. Lillian is looking more and more like her dad and Ninni is still has strong Alvi genes. Her hair isn't one of my favorites, but lets hope she grows out of it.

Suan uses the genies always hanging around the house to her advantage. I haven't really worked on her LTW a lot but she gets those wishes to throw elixirs satisfied whenever I can get it done. With 8 sims in the house giving anyone other than Erik my sole focus is hard - I guess we'll have to say goodbye to some of the kids soon.

Teens also need tutoring and Erik is about 3/4 done with the Teacher Extraordinaire challenge. He's already completed the Master Chemist one.

Andrea ages up and moves out. She rolls the social butterfly trait (I do random rolls for sims I'm not keeping in the house) and I later find out she's moved in with her boyfriend so she's not living in the streets.

Sylvester also ages up and has a midlife crisis of his own. He's glued to the mirror for the next four sim days, good thing he doesn't have a job, he'f get demoted slipping of to the loo all the time.

Erik couldn't be there in time because there was a medical emergency at the library. One day in the medical career and already he is saving lives.

Susan has gotten a few celebrity stars from trowing elixirs and has picked up a paparazzi. She uses her for her alchemy experiments...

Talking about experiments, something must have gone wrong in the kitchen. Emelie was asked to switch to the medical career, and since the hospital is right next door and the science building across town I though that was a good idea.

Majken grows up, becomes a gatherer and moved out too. She and the twins are really good friends so they'll miss her a lot. Majken was the kind of sim that did her own thing and never caused a fuss, even if she loved the outdoors she mostly spent her time inside reading books (almost all her wishes were book related and she didn't even have the bookworm trait!).

This leaves only six sims in the house and no kids, Sylvester is kind of bored and spends a lot of time hanging out with all the genies or managing the real estate. Sadly that isn't really much of a job anyway since they own most of the town already. I think maybe he'll have to hang out more at the casino - not to make money but to spend his time.

When Erik joined the medical career he switched his athletic trait for bookworm and he now zips through all the research in an hour or two.

Erik and Susan never had the chance to graduate, and Andrea's YA birthday didn't trigger one either - but as soon as Majken grew up City hall threw a graduation ceremony. The whole town seemed to show up and there was a bit of drama when Emelie and Ninni got in a tiff in view of the whole town. Andrea and Majken showed up to get their awards (both got most likely to be mediocre). Susan became most likely to rule the world while Erik was voted most likely to write a bestselling novel (I guess that's the bookworm trait because he doesn't have any writing skill).

The twins take advantage of their day of school by asking for driving lessons while Erik and Susan plan a party back at the house. It is time to look for likely candidates as Erik future spouse. (Susan quickly befriends some young looking females while Erik gets the Legendary Host LTR).

When the party is in full swing the camera pans to Lillian in the Bot shop - why?

Oh, this is why, Emelie is in labor in the basement bathrooms. Emelie dear ask your daughter to drive you home.

Oops, maybe we should have gone to the hospital instead. Walking into a party while in labor only creates widespread panic in the sims world.

Once Emelie shuts herself in the nursery we can welcome little Hans to the family. (only one more to go till Sylvester get's his eight)

The twins use the party to look for potential spouses. Ninni likes the look of Evan...

and Lillian falls for Landon's sparkly fairy wings. (Landon just turned YA but has been a family friend ever since he went to school with Erik and Susan).

Erik spends most of the party with an original townie who likes to get furry on occasion. He straightens out some of her convoluted thinking and makes her see things in a more logical manner.

Time flies and Hans becomes a toddler - he is his mothers son, no doubt about it!

Susan's paparazzi has gotten hold of a laptop and now writes a blog about her - it's her revenge for all the experiments she's been put through. She spends all night, every night, on the front porch tapping away at the keyboard.

Teaching Hans his skills makes Sylvester do something other than worry about his wrinkles for a change, but one small toddler is no match for someone who's done it six times already and all to soon Hans ages up to a child. He's got his fathers hair but that is all he seems to have gotten from that side of the family.

At this point I start worrying about Emelie since I'm always finding her staring out of windows. What is wrong? What is she looking for? I don't know but I hope she isn't growing old before her time. She's only at level five of the medical career and I would like for her to at least reach  level seven before she retires.

After much procastrination on my part Susan leaves the house after having completed her LTW. She was a fun sim to have around and she's the first sim I've ever had to really rock that hair from KPST.

Family time is now relaxed and Erik and Hans grow closer as Erik works on the finishing stretch of his teacher skill challenge.

Then before we know it the twins age up to YA's. Lillian looks so much like Sylvester, only Emelie's red hair and brown eyes differ. Ninni insists in keeping that hairdo...

The twins naturally get a graduation straight away but skip it in favor of romance. Lillian and Landon move in with his family after they try for a baby.

Ninni and Evan stick around one night more before heading out for a new home.

Ever since Erik tutored Hans all he has is logic related wishes, so he and Sylvester spend the evenings playing chess.

It's a nice change compared to Sylvester's usual routine where he keeps house and cleans up after the genies. We invested in a washing machine and that gets him something to do as well. Now everyone enjoys the comfort of fresh laundry on a daily basis. We still have a maid come in to do the bathrooms though, Sylvester decided he's got to draw a line somewhere after all.

With three career levels, one skill challenge and two opportunities left to go Erik ages up to an adult.

Emelie: Congratulations honey, guess what you're getting for a present?
Hans: My own car?
Emelie: Sure, but even better - a new baby brother or sister!

Erik has been busy trying to find love while working on his requirements. Eileen Lancaster is a loner, irresistible diva. Who really doesn't apreciate his heat of the moment advances. He's got to work on his fineness if he's going to land her.

That's more like it! Add a few compliments and she'll fall at your feet.

And once she does - remember to catch her...

Hans fancies himself somewhat of a chess aficionado and plays online when the rest of the family is to busy to give him a game. He often neglects his homework in favor of chess, since he thinks this is the only learning he needs.

To get those final hours tutoring sims, Erik helps his mom reach higher logic. (Emelie is still at level six in medicine and haven't worked for over a week, but with §700+ a night in pay staying home is kind of sweet. The only problem is that stir crazy moodlet that pops up.)

Sylvester has his elder birthday at 42 days and shows continues love for the ITF clothes.

At the very same moment Sylvester sparkles little Mats is born.

And it's Emelie's turn to become an elder. This time we had no hair emergencies.

Erik wasn't home because he went to his boss party where he met up with his sister Susan (I really miss her in the house) so he helped her gain a skill level or two.

Hans has a blast with his parents, and since he's the only youngster around he actually gets a lot more fun time with his parents than his older siblings.

After six weeks of gameplay we have the first death on the home lot, it's someone who's crashing the party and never makes it through the door.

The party was mostly family (the girls that moved out) and some teens from Hans class, this is Cody who shaved her blond hair once she became a teen. I think Hans likes her just as she is. She seems interested in him too and asks him to dance.

Emelie spends most of the party bragging about her grandchildren, she and Sylvester have two already but wishes for more. Lillian's son is called Andres and Ninni's Leonard. They are both kids now.

During the days, when he's not training Mats, Sylvester spends his days running around and doing what we hired the maid to do, just before the maid does it. It looks kind of like he's training the maid - and he looks blissfully happy :)

Erik got his final opportunity and only needed one more promotion to finish of his requirements, so at one more family party he asked Eileen to marry him. Neither of them pretended to notice the audience that watched them with bated breath.

Hans has picked out a Crocodile Dundee outfit to impress Cody, and it seems to be working! They spent the whole party dancing. I was hoping he'd get a chance to go to prom, but so far no notice has come up - although Sylvester got the offer to go on a surprise vacation.

Despite her less than maternal traits I think Eileen will be happy to give Erik children, she was first in the long line of guests that played with him during the party.

When Mats had a full day home with his parents they played hopscotch, something Emelie has been rolling wishes for forever, but just never seemed to have time to full fill. Mats is a lucky child.

Could this be? Yes, that final promotion came in and Erik invited Eileen over...

And yes, she can't wait to marry him.

Sylvester, who has held on to the wish of Erik getting married ever since he was mid YA celebrates the impending grandchild with some Statuesque Surprise one party guest brought.
