After the family returned from Egypt things returned to "normal".  Beta sculpted, Mindi wrote books, and Gamma fished.  BOooooooRING!

So after Alpha planted his Egyptian produce he decided to spice things up a bit, and invited his boss over for dinner.

"Why, hello there, Corey Castor.  You're not that pretty, but I'm 137 days old so I won't be picky."

"You're ugly, and I'm old, so let's get it on!"

(Sometime the following day)  "Oops, did I do that?"

"Uh, yes you did, is your memory going or something?", Corey says.
"You're one smart cookie!", says Alpha.

"Fine then, let's boogie oogie oogie to some kiddie tunes till we get that kid outta ya."

And...

"It's BLUE... er.. I mean.. It's a GIRL!  Oh, we had twins?  Excellent!  Oh, the other one isn't blue?  Psh..."

"Well, that was exciting and all but I'm gonna go home to sleep, I remember how newborns can be."

"Amy!!!  You just HAD to show up tonight didn't you?!  Ummm... I can explain everything..."

Since Gamma knew what she wanted out of life, and what she wanted was FISH, she decided to go ahead and buy enough fish bowls to last her a lifetime.

The basement seemed like the perfect place to store her pretties, but huh, what's all this?

There's Grandpa, and Dad, and ... me?  What's all this about?

Oh well, no sense worrying her not-so-pretty head about it.  In no time at all it was her Birthday!

Oh my... not-so-pretty is right.

It also happened to be Beta's birthday too, but he had considerably less fan fair with only one of the Grisby's to cheer him on.  Good thing Mindi has taken up sculpting and painting.  :)

Meanwhile, Alpha's been staying busy.  Ahem ahem...

Why, hello Marianne, it's so nice to finally see you outside of work.  Corey?  Corey who?

So it came as no surprise when he got the call that he was now the father of a BLUE baby boy!

Yes, that brings his child count up to 4... just in case you were counting.  He shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.

I'm a little disappointed that Gamma isn't blue.  I wonder if there's any chance her child will inherit the blue skin.  I've seen kids get their grandparents' hair or eye color, but I've never really paid attention to the skin color.  And did you get Gamma's child portrait and stuff?

Yeah, I've never had the skin color skip a generation before.  But I have another idea, we'll see if it works. :)

And yes, I did get child portrait, photo and sculpture of Gamma.  :)

Gamma has made fishing into an art form.  She goes to school, she does her homework, she fishes.  Her parents are actually getting a bit worried about her.

She's fished so much that she's accomplished her goal of displaying a Perfect Aquarium!

Beta was so proud of his daughter that he took this great picture of her.

As a matter of fact, the family museum is coming along quite nicely.

Alpha has been up to his usual antics, his child count is up to 8.

And now that Gamma has been able to tear herself away from the local fishing hole, she's started to make friends at school, and even met a nice boy who shares her love of family.

Amy even made an appearance, and sculpted a nice topiary.

To celebrate all the wonderful happenings, and because the old house was feeling a bit cramped, the family decided to tear it down and build a new one on the same property.  It was a lot of work!  But everyone is pleased with the results!

Downstairs there is a lovely spacious dinning room, a formal living room, a great room with a kitchen, and even a crafting room.  There's also the master bedroom with an adjoining nursery.

And upstairs there are four bedrooms and two bathrooms.  Alpha and Beta & Mindi will have rooms upstairs, while Gamma (in expectation of future marriage and baby) will have the master bedroom.  Needless to say Gamma is THRILLED to have the prettiest room in the house!

Even the basement/museum got a bit of a face lift.  It's slightly larger now, and the stairs actually come from the inside of the house!  What a concept!

Beta and Mindi were enjoying the new digs, and decided to get back to sculpting their little hearts out.

And as Mindi was creating this beautiful ice sculpture of Beta, she had her birthday!

That house is gorgeous!  Well done!  I guess you're just leaving Amy's grave on the lot?  Very cool that she sculpted a topiary for the family.

Aria,

I just finished reading your Nesbit Dynasty Story (up to here!), and it's great. Thanks so much for sharing.

It was nice to see the meteor strike we discussed earlier in-context. And the house make-over looks great.

I'm still missing Amy a bit, but I've gotten attached to seeing her since I first bumped into her over in Twinbrook!

Anyway, I just wanted to give you a shout-out, it's a great story. I'm looking forward to reading more.

Ha, the ice goblin has paid you a visit. I can't remember how many of those silly things Holly has sculpted.

Thanks so much you guys!  It took me the greater part of yesterday to build the house.  I used a houseplan from dreamhomesource.com.  :)  The main difference is that I turned the huge master closet into a nursery, and the original plan had an attached garage, which I couldn't quite figure out how to do because it wouldn't let me build a wall on ground level next to a wall on a foundation, which is kind of dumb if you ask me!

Pam - I haven't really decided what I'm going to do with ALL the graves, but for now there's just Amy so I thought I'd leave her to roam as she pleases.  When it gets to feel like I have too many ghosts I might put them in the graveyard or something.

Twinmum - This is actually my first ice goblin!  I was kind of hoping to get one after I read your Dynasty. lol

You've really been busy! It sounds like you're also working toward populating the town with blue babies, which I'd love to see happen. Congratulations on the successful Dynasty so far.

Since Mom & Dad do nothing else but sculpt all day and night, I've made some new friends at school!  I'm so excited that I'm getting to be more popular!

One of my bestest friends is Denny Pence.  He's SO cute!  One day he came home with me after school, so I asked him if he'd be my BFF, and he said YES!

So then I thought, well, if he said yes to that, then maybe there could be more between us.  Maybe, just maybe he'd be my BOYFRIEND!  *SQUEEEE*

And so now I'm dating the HOTTEST guy in school!!!  *GIGGLE GIGGLE*

Which wasn't good news for my fish collection.  Oh well, at least I had already reached my goal of having 13 perfect fish!  I can always do it again if I want.

Grandpa also thought I might like to help out in the garden, and he's right, it is pretty fun!  Plus think of all the great bait!

For my Birthday Dad threw me a really awesome party!  He even invited Denny!!!  *GIGGLE*

Hey, Denny, it's my Birthday!

There was only one minor mishap when Dad thought he'd grill up some hot dogs, what was he thinking!  He knows he can't cook!

Good thing some of the boys from my class were there to put out the flames.  Makes me think maybe I should swing for that Fireproof Home LTR.

Pretty soon it was time to blow out the candles!

See Denny, now I'm all grown up like you!  We are the CUTEST couple EVER!

I know it's quick but we've been waiting all of high school for this, and I know I'll never meet anyone else like you, WILL YOU MARRY ME???

And Bless my Lucky Stars, he said YES!

And then I rushed to the mirror to redo my hair and plan a new outfit, seriously, what was mom thinking when she bought this for me!

Ah, now that's better!
