Sorry I didn't realise inventions went up in value myself until I sold a recently invented smasher at the same time as an older one.  The new one was sold for five simoleons and the old one made about 35.
One that she had made the day before sold for 6 simoleons.

I personally prefer the simple museum layout - makes it easier to see what has been done and which pieces are still missing.

What? I thought they depreciated in value!! I made a hygenatior and it was $150 and I forgot to put it in the chest and after midnight it was $135!!

I have been keeping all of Esk widgets in the second basement they have gone up in value. So far I have discovered if I keep them in her inventory they go down in value. Toys go down in value no matter where I keep them. I made one of those floating duck things and it was 71 simoleons now it is worth 93 simoleons a week later.
I also made two floor thingies both were 172 simoleons when I first made them the one in my inventory is now 155 and the one in the basement is 210.
It might just be a glitch with my game but I am not complaining.
I am in the middle of testing what happens with big inventions. I am keeping one in my inventory and one in the basement. I will let you know if they appreciate or depreciate in value.

Apparently your gnomes like viewing your museum as well as we do!  Did you notice him?

Joria - Yup!  I often find them down there admiring the paintings.  :)

Interesting stuff about the appreciation values.  Sounds like I'll have to do some experimenting.

At this point, I have to try and motivate myself to load up my game.  That inventing stuff has gotten pretty boring.  The only thing that keeps me goin' with it is knowing that I'll be done soon!

All the babies love Gamma.  She has the run around bug, plus she's family oriented, so she's always the first one there when the baby starts crying.

And on a totally separate topic...  One of Epsilon's "daughter's" is now a paparazzi.  So she comes by the house all the time to snap pictures.

Delta got this really awesome trophy for hosting some free clinics.  I had no idea you could get cool stuff for doing that!  Don't ask me how many, I don't remember.

Epsilon completed his goal of blowing up 150 objects.  Now the junk yard looks like... well... a junk yard.

After all that randomness, Zeta aged up from toddler to child.

Sometimes being a child is no fun at all, but at least Zeta is getting to know her grandpa better.

You would think that after making hundreds of sculptures that Beta would be over the "catch yourself on fire when you make a metal statue" stage.  But apparently not.

Epsilon and Zeta happened to have their birthdays on the same day, so 2 cakes and 1 big party were in order.

I wasn't a huge fan of Zeta's new look.

So I gave her an updo with some purple streaks to match her eyes, some make up, oh and of course, new outfits.

I kept Epsilon's hair the same, just added some of his red coloring.

Then he got back to work making floor hydrogonators.  Yay.

Thankfully after hours and days and WEEKS of tinkering he finally made his last one!  HURRAY!

Now he just has to make some money, he's still only at level 8 of his manufacturing career... UGH!  Seriously, this guy is never gonna get his ambrosia!

Meanwhile, Alpha has charged Zeta with keeping the family supply of deathfish alive.  Every morning, "Zeta, did you feed the deathfish??"  "Yes, great-great-great-great grandpa!"

Zeta is beautiful! Her eyes!

Apparently I created my founder with purple eyes but completely forgot it until I tailed and photographed all his children.

Zeta is cute! I'm not far enough into mine yet to hate inventing, but doing some of those challenges are, well challenging!

Latoya has certainly brought quite a bit of drama to the Nesbit household, and I'm not sure that I like it.  She's a flirty sim.  So periodically, when I'm not looking, she'll start flirting with one of the many males in the house.  It wouldn't be so bad except for that her relationship with Zeta is at an all-time low.  Epsilon pretty much never notices because he's always slaving away at his home-away-from-home: the consignment store.

So I wasn't at all sad to see Latoya loose her pretty blonde trusses in favor of something a little more respectable (let's hope!).

Looks like some of the family members are just as excited as I am!

After many, many, many hours at the consignment shop, you see a lot of the town folk.  Here's an interesting guy!

As if it weren't enough to wear a rubber ducky, you had to take toy bunnies and horsies in your pockets?  For shame...

Next up...  The screen shot I thought I was NEVER gonna get!

That's right, Epsilon FINALLY completed all his requirements to become an Immortal!

I cut it pretty close with him, and I hope I don't have as much trouble with any of the future heirs.  He was 85 days old when he ate his first ambrosia.  WHEW!  The thing that finally saved him (and my sanity!) was the knowledge that the best thing to make to earn money is Flying Fighters.  See, the guide really is helpful!  Helps even more when you actually read it!  Guess I should have done that, oh I don't know, BEFORE I tried to SuperMax a skill and max out a skill based career!

*BONK* (that's my head hitting the desk... )

So now, onwards and upwards!  Next up is Zeta, and she should be a piece of cake!

Before we move on to Zeta, I thought I'd close up Epsilon's story with accepting the key to the city.

There was quite a celebration!

Yup...

Quite a celebration indeed!

Zeta has quite a few guys to choose from.  I didn't make note of any of their names, but Zeta is a friendly/charismatic sim with some dramatic overtones, so she makes friends easily and has many school chums already.  Seems like there's always some kid coming home with her or she gets invited to go to their house.  I'm planning to SuperMax Charisma with her, it's a skill I haven't given to any of my other Immortals and it should be an easy one to complete.  I'm ready for EASY!

So here's bachelor #1:

Bachelor #2:

Bachelor #3:

And Bachelor #4:

WOAH NELLY!  Hold the phone!  He's blue, has a girlfriend and kid, but ... he's BLUE!  He's one of Alpha's grandson's, which makes them far enough removed to have romantic interactions.  WOO HOO!  ahem.. I mean... HURRAY!!!

His clothing choices have much to be desired and he could use a few laps on the treadmill, but these things can be arranged.

Zeta is a 4 star celebrity, so of course she had to have a big party.  It's the best way to meet all the young men in town anyways.  ;)

And here she is!  Mis-matched America!

After a quick makeover she's lookin' pretty darn cute, if I do say so myself.
