A Fulcrum in Time
« on: November 28, 2013, 08:42:29 AM »
This is announce that I've finished my novel for NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month)! It's called A Fulcrum in Time, and it's loosely based on the Sims 3 Into the Future. The main characters are Claudia Cottoneye and the Time Traveler.

There are no screenshots, and there is some adult content (slightly less racy than Diana Gabaldon), so I can't post it on the Forum. I asked Pam, however, and she agreed that if people 18 and over want to read it, they can PM me and I can PM them back with the link. Or I suppose people could post a request here. I hope to hear from some of you (but only if you're 18+ and I will check.)

I'd love to read it Marian, I always enjoy your stories. I admit to not knowing who Diana Gabaldon is though (I just Googled her to find out) but some of the fantasy books I read get a bit racy at times and I'll also admit to being way past 18 :P

I'll send you a pm  :)

Jessie, I do appreciate your honesty. There are plenty of really good books that you can read now, though.

I'm 19 years old, so I might be past for age qualification for one year ahead :P

I would love to see your work, Marian. I'm enjoying your stories as a silent reader all this time though. And look! It’s another story about Claudia from Cottoneye! I couldn't miss it. Well, if you don't mind to share your link. If not, it's really alright :D

I would love to read it like Jessie, but I think I'm gonna pass. I’m already eliminated ::)

But, I just want to say congratulations on 50125 words so and being a Winner, Marian! I have seen that but info only while searching through google though and I'm clueless about NaNoWriMo either but I have seen people in forum talking about it in Writing (Non-Sims).

Well, I’ll look forward for your Sims story updates! XD

I'd love to give it a read Marian :)
From the moment I fell down that rabbit hole I've been told what I must do and who I must be. I've been shrunk, stretched, scratched and stuffed into a teapot. I've been accused of being Alice, and of not being Alice, but this is my dream. I'll decide where it goes from here.

Just finished reading and thoroughly enjoyed it Marian, if I had never even played the sims I would have found it a good read, the fact I have meant I could totally visualise what you were describing and just added to the enjoyment  :D

Wow, congratulations on finishing! I wish I could read it but unfortunately I won't be 18 for a few more years. :/
