Collect all Real Estate Money at Once?

Under the old system it was easy to collect all your deeds and send your Sim about collecting all their cash by queuing up the actions. Unfortunately, it seems you now must visit a venue, use the cell phone, and collect money all over again. There's no easy way to grab them all. Still, it's an amazing way to make money. I just haven't found a way through control-clicking, shift-clicking, alt-clicking or anything like that which will allow the Sim to run around and grab all the dough. Anyone see a way around this?

So you still need to click each estate individually? I had hoped this was fixed in patch 1.14.x

I still have to click each location from map mode.  If it's changed, I'm not aware of it.

You still have to click on each property.  As Carl said, the easiest way is to go into map mode on Monday after 9 am and click on each of your owed properties, then click on 'Collect $$'.  They are all marked for you so you know what you own. 
If the property is a venue, such as the Pool, then you have to click on 'Real Estate', then you will see 'Collect $$' to click on. 
Your Sim will then go to each property in the order you set up your queue.

Confirmed ... you have to click each one, ideally in Map view.  

However, collecting the rent can take a long time if you own a lot of properties/businesses, and with a limit of 8 in the task-queue you can easily run out of space.  Our rich Sims [actually, we don't have any poor ones!  ] tend to go out in pairs: "You do that side of Town, honey, and I'll do the other."

It would have been nice to be able to collect from the computer, but I guess Sims haven't discovered Internet Banking yet

Because the money just accumulates, I don't worry about collecting it all in one go if I have a lot. I tend to get someone to just call in to one or two places on their way to or from somewhere, then again the next day or so with another venue. Sometimes I miss a spot and when I do collect, it's a nice surprise to get a wad of cash.

I'm pleased to hear that.  I was always worried that the value might go down if you failed to collect - that would be unfair, of course, but it would be a typical Sims ploy to punish you for being lazy or forgetful!  I'm almost sure the harvested Money Tree bags depreciate if you don't cash them in after harvesting.

I can't for the life of me figure out how or why they left out the collect all option when they changed the system.

The thing I've never understood is...why do you need to visit a location at all to pick up money?  In real life, the money would automatically be transferred to your bank account!   Seems kind of silly and unrealistic.

I agree, it's a step backwards as far as convenience is concerned.

I also don't like it how you have to click all those messages closed now, you know, the ones that pop up in the upper right of the screen.  Super annoying!

I find that with the new message system I miss messages when they all come at once. The box displays the first new message and I never notice there's more.

Yeah, I'm definitely with you on this, Aria.  Especially when my founder is out fishing and I have to click to get rid of the message every time he catches a fish.

Well, wanted to report of my ice sculptures in my Dynasty family. So far, the young adult sculpture my founder's
first husband made still hasn't melted, so I'm going to stop holding my breath and assume that the ice personality
bonus remains on the ice sculptures that were sculpted before death, but I am not going to try to put any ice
sculptures I cherish on another lot because I think the perma-ice loses that bonus if you take it off the lot, which
explains why ice sculptures might melt if you transfer to another lot you own.
