Chapter 3:  Toddler Time

Hi Mom!  Have you gotten my letters?  Sorry I had to communicate that way, but Riverview didn't have a cell tower, so reception was horrid.  Thank goodness the mayor put up a cell tower out by the junkyard.

 
That's ok, honey, I loved getting letters from you, as well as the baby pictures of little Lourdes.

Speaking of which...here is her birthday cake picture.

And here she is after I put her hair up.  She has Billy's haircolor, but my eyecolor.

She's just beautiful, honey...and the first non-blonde family member in 3 generations.  It's good to have change every once in awhile.

I will show you more pictures of her soon, but first I'm so excited to share other news with you!

 No, Ma, how can I be, when I'm not an elder!

 Remember when I told you that I planted a Forbidden Seed right after I conceived Lourdes?  The bad news is that the seed only gave me another Forbidden seed, which I planted right away. 


The Good news is that the second seed produced a plantsim!  His name is Lincoln, and he's your first green grandson!  He is a green thumb who loves the outdoors.

Oyy...this may be too much change for one conversation!

Too bad, mother, he will be able to help with the dynasty requirements immensely.

Now that I mention Dynasty Requirements...here is proof that Billy has completed a painting, photo, and sculpture of yours truly.

How are the other requirements coming along, dear?

I think I'm doing ok...we have lifefruit growing in the house, I'm reading up on cooking (now lv 5), half of the BlackOps are done.  I also decided not to do science as a supermax, and stick with gardening, which is only 50 harvests away from being supermaxed.

So you just need to start going to work, and throwing parties to gain Best Friendships?

That, or find some Potent Friendship Elixirs at the consignment store...which haven't been there on any of my trips to the store.

Billy has also finished Lourdes' toddler art pieces, as well.  He is such a great husband...I feel bad that he doesn't even know why he's doing this.  He thinks that I love art and want to see a family museum on the second floor.  He doesn't know that I need it so I can live forever, while he dies.

In other news, Billy and I have both had our adult birthdays.

Billy is going through a mid-life crisis, so I bought him a Batman Convertible to keep him from divorcing me.

We had a party for my birthday, and I thought all was going well.  The guests were happy.  I was making my wish...

And BOOM...I set the house on fire!  Luckily we got it out quick, but the firemen were mad when they got to the house and found no fire.  They fined me $500 for the inconvenience!
Thanks for the update...but where are the toddler pictures you promised me?!  You can't deprive your grandmother of her granddaughter!

In one of my saves, I had one big fire right in the middle of a party and the one who were the main star in the party refuse to do any action I assign it to. So the party attendant go home and dissatisfied, and the party is a flop.

That was my first thought when I realized that she had gone outside.

Sorry, I don't even know what she looks like as a child yet...I have two more dreaded days of toddlerhood.  Hopefully I will get those two days played tonight, and then I will do a quick post about her child birthday.

Hi mom, here is the melting snowman that Lourdes helped us build in winter.  It's the first day of Spring now, which means that Lourdes is going to become a child at midnight.

Aww...how is my little pumpkin?

She's good...she learned all of her toddler skills and has gained the adventurous trait to help her in her quest for immortality.
