I think Pam should start another immortal dynasty using forest as the founder.
After finishing this one of course... because we don't know what midnight means yet! YIKES!

I wonder if Pam might never tell us about Midnight and then finish this Dynasty and then start a new Dynasty called the Midnight Dynasty then finally tell us?  :P

She's been talking about midnight for awhile now! So yes she did and Bubblegum and of course Forest. I forget but I think it was Scarlet who had midnight in her eyes.  ;D

.It was Carina, though, who taught little Bubblegum how to walk.

This tiny sweet little girl is very important to her great-great-great-great-grandmother.  Even though she's been waiting for it, Carina is a bit startled to see midnight not just lurking in Bubblegum's eyes.  Midnight seems to be looking back at her now.

This is what Pam wrote about Bubblegum and Midnight. At the time I thought it meant that the next generation would be called Midnight and that when Midnight came and ate ambrosia all of Carina Dreamweaver's hard work would be done.
I was obviously wrong.

I think Midnight was in Scarlets eyes but midnight was looking back in Bubblegums eyes. I don't recall any specific mention of Midnight in Forests eyes.

Carina has always known.  Even immortality cannot last forever.  She has spent over 250 years creating and watching this family become the Immortal Dynasty, always knowing that it's only until midnight comes.  It's not done yet, but she can see it in young Scarlet's eyes.  The stroke of midnight lurks there.  The stroke of midnight will see this thing done.

Nobody should be surprised that great-great-great-great-great grandmother Carina takes time every day to spend with Forest.  Nor was Carina herself surprised to see midnight now shining brightly back at her from darling Forest's eyes.  Her release from the pain and the promise draws ever closer.

Wow, so I was right! Midnight was in Scarlet's eyes too! And Forest's of course! Phew Pam you should try writing mystery books for a living! You'd be on the best-sellers list for sure!!  ;D

I think this story would be a best seller.  OMG!  :o  Can you say "Shutterfly"?  Wow.  Pam, seriously, you should check that out!  You could copy and paste everything in here and make your own book! (Even if not published.)  I think it would be a nice memorabilia for your shelf.  :D

Thanks everyone!  Actually, I think Carl wants to put it on the Guide as a story, which is completely awesome!

Personally, I hope "midnight" never comes!  Not if it means the end to this story!

I know what you mean. I'm really torn on this. On one hand, I really really want to know what midnight means, but on the other hand if it's the way she's going to end it, I don't want to know. Lol yea sometimes I confuse myself!!
