Why can't she work on her ambrosia in Shang Simla?
What?  Grannies can't play games?

As Pam indicated, Bubblegum can't go to work, so no career advancement, and there are no clubs in Shang Simla for the mixology supermax challenges. I gather those are the only two things holding her back at this stage (other than aging to Elder, and getting her Elder portrait, that is)

and the Moodlet Manager doesn't work on him.  Poor kid just has to live with the -20 moodlet for 3 days.

You remember that the moodlet manager is banned right? Please say yes please say yes!

Actually, hun, if you will refer to page two of the Immortal Dynasty Challenge Thread that Metropolis Man started. Someone asked if the Moodlet Manager was banned, and Metro replied that no it wasn't. It was at first out of habit, but when Pam asked why it was, he couldn't come up with an answer. So he revoked the ban and it is allowed. :)

DeNile is right.  The Moodlet Manager is allowed in the Immortal Dynasty Challenge, so I'm ok.  :D

@Joria:

Inclement is correct.  Bubblegum has already reached level 10 of Mixology and has completed all the skill journal challenges except the one where she has to learn 42 drinks from the different clubs.  There are no clubs in Shang Simla, so she can't do any of that.  She's already done most everything else for her Ambrosia:  Lifetime wish achieved (Lifestyle of the Rich and Famous), 3 Lifetime Rewards (Legendary Host, Better Mixologist, Master of Seduction), 6 unique opportunities, and both required properties.  All that's left is 6 Best Friends, level 10 of career, finish skill journal challenges, age to Elder, and Elder portrait.

I'm thinking about trying to max out Mixologist... but 42 drinks is a LOT!  I was only able to place 3 clubs in Twinbrook, so it worries me that it would be impossible to learn everything that's needed.  Do you think that would be a problem?

Pam I can't believe you are so close to the end.  I am going to sorely miss the Dreamweavers.

Me too. I hope I was right about why she had a boy and I hope she keeps us up to date on them! My days would just not be the same without the Dreamweavers!!

I don't think 3 clubs will be enough to get 42 drinks.  Each club has probably less than 10 drinks.  You might be able to put more clubs in Twinbrook than you think.  They don't have to be on a street.  As long as you have enough area to fit the lot in World Editor, they will work.  I got all but one or two placed in Sunset Valley.

First, here's a short video of Bubblegum teaching Forest a song.

Forest Learns a Song

There's not much to tell this time.  I'll probably cut the vacation short so I can get back to working on Bubblegum's Ambrosia requirements.  Forest has reached level 9 in his Writing skill, which is good enough for now.

They are having a good time, though.  Forest finally made a sale at the baking table.

Carina and Nectarine did some club dancing together.

Scarlet entertained a couple of Sims at the market.

And both Forest and Bubblegum got pretty good on the trampoline.

Is it too much showing off to say I really could do that?  I was in gymnastics as a kid & teen though.  I'd damage something if I tried now.  LOL
