That's kind of neat, finding the partial portrait. 117 days is amazing. Stiles McGraw in my game is pushing 106ish, and the family has been hovering around, figuring he'll go any day now. I guess they probably shouldn't hold their breath if it's possible he has another week plus left in him. Great story, Pam!

Is that metals quest repeatable? I've been keeping it up forever, thinking I only have one chance at it.

Yes, it comes up quite often.  But when I have it, I keep it as long as I can.  Sooner or later, the person involved with it dies and it goes away, but then it comes back as a new adventure fairly quickly.

I love the picture of Christopher dying and at the same time his phone is ringing.  Maybe Grimmie had been trying to call, couldn't get through and finally decided to come in person.  117 days is really amazing!

It was weird.  The phone call came through as Grim was taking him.  It was an opportunity call and the window showed Christopher as a ghost.  I accepted the oppurtunity just to see what would happen.  Nothing did, though.

Drat!  It would have been cool had it come through and the ghost had to do it.

For anyone who doesn't already know, my Dreamweaver Dynasty game file suffered a catastrophic crash from multiple huge bugs.  I had a file from a Sim week previous safely tucked away, however, and will continue playing from that point.  I have to make up the equivalent of 10 Sim regular days, plus 17 vacation days.  There won't be anything new to tell until I get back to where I was.  Sorry everyone.

I was sure I commented here before, anyway, I'm impressed with Christopher's age AND how you jugle 2 generation of twins! Really impressed! I read that you got traveling bug and lost a couple of days of playing.. so sad for that. Hope you'll continue this story with same enthusiasm as you started cause you have a serious number of fans here ;)

Christopher died earlier this time at age 113 days.  Not as long as 117, but still a very long life.  This time he was watching TV by himself while everyone was at school and work, and busy with painting and gardening.  I expected him to live to 117 again.  RIP Christopher (Steel) Dreamweaver.  Again.

Periwinkle has purchased her two required properties:  the book store and Pinocle Pond.  Here are some pictures of the newly rennovated Pinocle Pond.

Here's the entrance with the welcome signs and fountain garden:

The facilities and toddler play area:

The children's play area:

More fun with a trampoline and Gnubb set:

This is my favorite part.  A high-rise garden pool with a great view of the rest of the park:
