MARS  DYNASTY'S  RESOLUTIONS

I WILL NOT

- Use motive mobile.
- Use moodlet manager.
- Use sleeping potions.
- Use alchemy elixirs, except for potent cure elixirs.
- Use genie lamps.
- Use transfiguration table / witch convertion ritual / alien transmutation.
- Use skilling shortcuts (brain enhancing machine, herbs, mixology drinks, group science project), but instead will skill using the old fashioned way. 
- Use relationship shortcuts (relationship transmorgrifier, sim finder app). 

I have never been a good storyteller, and I don’t think I’ll ever be one.  Trying to write a story for 16 generations is just mind boggling.  I will instead make this into a personal diary of how I completed each and every requirement.

This should be interesting. I did use the motive mobile and sleeping potions. Without the ability to travel, I found them necessary. The rest I didn't have or didn't use. I question my story writing ability as well. However, my biggest downfall is taking pictures. In sims as in real life, I'm a terrible photographer. Best of Luck. I'll be checking in.

I am not planning to use travel for skilling purposes, travel will probably be use only for locating valuable items and turning in opps.  I am also trying to use only basic skills, playing as if I only have few expansions installed.  I just like the variety of hairstyles and clothes offered by newer expansion packs.

I already have my 4 items for my family collection all plan out, one of the item is fish.  Who is the best fisherman in Sunset Valley?  Christopher Steel of course.  He smells like fish and likes redheads, what a catch.





Don't have much money in the beginning, April have $4,000 and Christopher brought in $5,000 making the combined household funds of $9,000.  I could of course move in the famous Agnes and her car, but that would be too easy for me.  I plan to torture myself.  I'm also terrible at building houses, a rectangular box house is the best I could do.



I'm a hopelessly "not" romantic person when playing this game, I sped through the whole romantic process.  April went from being single to married and pregnant in less than 3 sims hours.  No dates or fanciful big wedding for my poor April.





Pregnant woman always have cravings, and April craves apples, lots and lots of apples.  Can you guess the sex of the unborn baby?



While Christopher is busy fishing, I had April learn Gardening.  The 2nd item I want for my family collection is omni plant harvestables, but I don't just want to use the science facility omni plant, I want a "home grown" omni plant.  I only use the science facility omni plant for some income ($2,000 fish book from bookstore) in the beginning.



Besides harvesting books from omni plant, April doesn't do much at home.  I pampered my baby mama, took care of her needs and make her nap a lot.  I want to be able to pick 2 traits for my baby, must keep April happy.  So excited, can't wait for nooboo to arrive.

I made sure Gregory plays with his Imaginary friend a lot, I mean a lot.  I want the doll to be his insurance policy, what if he can't find his true love later in life?  The doll can be turned real to be his spouse, this is call arranged marriage. 



Dear Gregory, daddy is busy fishing, he won't be able to take care of you.  We need the fish for collection and also for money.



While April is busy training Gregory his toddler skills, Christopher is busy fishing.  It’s sad but that’s pretty much all Christopher is going to do this whole dynasty.  I had him complete his aquarium lifetime wish and the “Amateur Ichthyologist” skill challenge as soon as possible, then fish deathfish for the rest of his life.  I made a deathfish pond (10 deathfish) in the backyard for him, so he isn't limited to the 12-5am spawn timer in the graveyard and can fish deathfish all day long.  I also bought Christopher these lifetime reward:  Immune to Heat, Steel Bladder, Hardly Hungry, and Meditative Trance Sleep.

Christopher's deathfish brought in some money, but family funds is still low for my liking, so April adopted a dog from the shelter.  I named him Noodles, because I'm out of naming ideas and I was eating noodles at the time the rename screen popup.  Rumor has it that sims dogs can hunt for Tiberium, let's hope the rumor is true.  April is also thinking of cash when she is training Noodles how to hunt.



Now that Gregory is older, I need to expand the house, a larger rectangular box house.  Gregory's imaginary friend grew up too, and they are having an argument about what color bed I should be buying for Gregory.  Gregory's favorite color is green, so I had some fun hitting the random button for a green bed.  The black bed is for April and Christopher, black is April's favorite color.





Gregory's childhood is spend between going to school, playing with his imaginary friend, and trying to discover potions.





TEEN

With the help of the gatherer trait, April was able to complete her lifetime wish by smelting metals and cutting gems.  Noodles hasn't found any Tiberium yet, but he did find several high value metals. 



I didn't have enough money to buy my dream car (Margaret Vaguester) yet, I settle on the cheapest car so April can teach Gregory how to drive. 



Spending some quality time with his imaginary friend, need to keep that friendship level high.

Which EP does Meditative Trance-like Sleep come with? I should get that.

KRae, meditative trance sleep comes with World Adventures EP, the first expansion pack for sims3.  Energy bar fills 25% faster with that reward, but I also pair it with good quality bed to help reduce my sim's sleeping time.  The bed I chose have "Energy: 10" on the tooltip.

Yes quite handsome indeed, no makeover whatsoever, didn't even have to change his hair.  Only thing I change was his clothes, I can't stand some of the clothes the game puts them in.

Yes, my interest for sims3 was waning from all the new items that comes with each expansion pack, it seems like EA keeps making the game easier and easier.  Can't wait to see your Stars family.
