Your Sim choice as the founder is unique, I never mess around with rainbow slider because I choose natural one and Mars is a unique name indeed, will she invade our earth? I agree with not bringing Agnes and sell her car, which will be too easy, especially when you're using genie lamp, I glad that you make rules not to use 'em and I love the list of the restrictions.

Welcome Gregory. But, what do you meant about "House", I don't understand, would you mind to explain that to me ?

Taking a screenshot with huge lifetime happiness for me is hard to capture! That was too fast.

I want to ask: did you play in windowed mode to able to capture screenshot like that? If no, what kind of application that you use to do that? I use some application but it can't take the whole screenshot just like you did, I only can use that when I use in windowed mode. Thanks!

It's going to be Tiberium, from dogs and miners.  My dynasty feels like the seven dwarfs, dig dig dig the whole day through.  Still waiting for your next chapter after zombies attack, is Stella hogging the sims3 game?

Alas I try writing a story about alien invasion, failed miserably.  I literally stare at my screen the whole day with one line to my story and that leaves me no time to play the game.  Hence I gave up on story writing, this is just more of my own journal with some tips and hints along the way.

I banned genie lamps too. 

House is my rainboo's middle name.  Gregory House is a brilliant doctor from a TV series, and my little one is going to grow up to be a doctor, so I figure I'll name him after my favorite TV doctor. 

I was able to screenshot Christopher's lifetime wish completion because I was waiting for it.  I put in 12 fishes in bowl, and as soon as I put in the 13th fish, I hit "C" on my keyboard, voila. 

The screenshot showing April's lifetime happiness points is actually mspaint.  I play in windowed mode, pause the game, hit "print screen" on my keyboard, then paste it onto mspaint.  Then I use mspaint to crop the photo, I just follow the red pause border when I'm cropping.  MSpaint stands for Microsoft Paint, its a program that comes with windows, I didn't have to pay extra for it.

With a lifetime wish like that, of course Gregory joins the medical career.  His traits, the multi-tasker lifetime reward, plus the long work hours in medical field should guarantee a promotion after every normal workday, provided his logic skill is high enough.  Gregory didn't read logic skill books in the library, instead he spends his free time discovering potions and challenging townies for a game of chess.



April spends her time reading gardening books in the library and entering the time machine.  She is trying to find the most valuable book from time machine, so she can feed her home grown omni plant.  I could use the dragon ripple book from china, but I've seen a more valuable book from time machine, and I want the best for my collection.  I could also use deathfish for omni plant, but 8 deathfish (4 for fish, 4 for omni) just doesn't look diverse and pretty enough.  Here is April showing off her new outfit from time machine.



Noodles is awesome, he finally hit the jackpot and found Tiberium.  With that, I was able to buy my dream car.





It's time for the 3rd item of my family collection, relics.  April got quite a bit of lifetime happiness points stock up, so she spend some on midlife crisis to change two of her traits to adventurous and brave.  She spend the rest on prepared traveller, opportunistic, learned relic hunter, steel bladder, and meditative trance sleep.  Christopher also spend some of his points for prepared traveller.  With two prepared traveller in group, April and Christopher are able to take a 9 days trip to Egypt.







By day 4, April has reached visa level 3 and have 1600 ancient coins, she went to the special merchant and bought the lovely Tear of Horus.  This will make relic hunting so much easier, since I opted not to use relics bought from merchant, too easy.



April came home with lots of common relics and four very valuable gold figurines, Christopher came back with loads and loads of alley catfish.



The game thinks I'm too rich now with all the valuable relics, so they send a burglar to my home.  I am so paranoid, I had 2 alarms outside and 1 alarm inside the house.  Unlucky burglar.



When Christopher's no travel moodlet wore off in 2 days, they took their second 9 days vacation, this time to China.  This trip I had Christopher helps excavate too, so he spend some of his points on learned relic hunter.  China was a very bad decision, the place is just so full of hills and problem routes, they spend more time running than excavating.  Even with 2 people excavating for full 9 days, I wasn't able to get much in China, never going back to china again.  Got lots of common relics and four very valuable zodiac animals.



The game refuses to give up, they send a 2nd robber to my home.



New outfit from time machine.  This one scares me, makes me think of snakes.



Gregory has reached the fifth level of the competitive chess circuit and has completed the Chess Grand Master Skill Challenge!



He also took up stargazing, just like the centaurs.

The first death in my dynasty, rest in peace Noodles.  I was too heartbroken to get another dog, so I made sure April spends a lot of her time using the miner digging for gems.



Gregory has discovered enough potions to complete the Master Chemist Skill Challenge!



With 5 days left to becoming an elder, Gregory's impressive performance has earned him a promotion to World Renowned Surgeon.



My 3rd burglary.  I'm beginning to think the green car is bad luck.

Gregory completed all his requirements with 3 days left to becoming an elder, time for spouse hunting.  He found her, a fairy by the name of Tori Kimura.  Is this true love?  I use the throw party option to check Tori's age, she's a young adult, still very fertile, perfect.



Marriage between the human world and the fairies world is strictly forbidden.  Gregory knows that, and before he invites her into the household, he sneakily threw a potent cure elixir at Tori.

The next morning.





Christopher has reached 50 days old, and I didn't want him to die.  I am not planning to collect his tombstone, I want him to keep fishing for eternity.  The more you fish, the more valuable the fish becomes.  Using the potion made by Gregory, Christopher is young again.





April is also 50 days old, and I need her to die of old age, but not quite yet.  She has finally receive the last omni plant opportunity chain and is just waiting for her awesome steak plant to grow.  Instead of using young again potion, I opted for her to eat a life fruit every morning until she completes the chain. 



This family really likes their apples, especially the pregnant ladies.



ELDER


While I wasn't paying attention, Tori changed her clothes during labor and tries to go to the hospital.  No, no, no.  I sent her home immediately.  Home birth - the choice of all the Mars ladies.



Noooo, where is my rainboo?  The rainboo genes only lasted for one generation, very disappointed.  Anyways welcome, Peter Venkman Mars.



The only way I know how to celebrate the birth of a new heir is to redecorate his future bedroom.



I blame Tori, all Tori's fault for not giving me a rainboo.  So mad at her that I kicked her out of the dynasty's house, she was only too happy to oblige.  She gave me a big smile, wave goodbye, and drove off in her limousine.

Oh dear, perhaps this is Tori's revenge for her involuntary de-fairy-ing  . You say you're not a good writer Nutella, but I'm loving this story so far! I'm looking forward to seeing what little Peter's life is like.

Christopher Steel has strong genes, his blue eyes has passed down for two generations now.  April's red hair and rainbow skin didn't survive this generation. 



April has completed her omni plant chain, she's ready to meet grim and embrace death, no more life fruit.  Using her lifetime points, April bought two teleporters and kept them safely hidden in the family inventory, I have plans for these later. 



Dear Peter, we still need more money to buy out the town, do you think you can help make money when you grow up?



Grim came for April, not long after she stopped eating life fruit.  Gregory is devastated, his mom was his best friend.  Christopher on the other hand has grown far apart from April, he is only pretending to be heart broken.



Game shows no mercy for deaths in the Mars household, they send the 4th burglar to my home.  I need to get rid of this green car, really it is a magnet for burglars.  Waking up all my sims from their precious sleep is not acceptable.



The omni plants have matured, Gregory fed the most expensive time machine book to the plant, then keep the harvested books in family inventory.  Items kept in family inventory doesn't lose value over time, and we do want the best, the most valuable items for our Mars family collection.

Gregory spends his lifetime points and added the 3rd teleporter to the family inventory. 



Christopher is acting again, he's barely acquaintances with Gregory, what is he crying about.



I sold the bad luck green car, hopefully this yellow car doesn't attract burglar like bees to honey.



Christopher is angry, he had to take some time off fishing to teach Peter how to drive.  Why Gregory, why did you die so early?



To take his mind off his father's death, Peter took up mixology.
