Did I just lose my Custom Content?

I just did a factory reset but when I started my game, all my CC was gone. Is there a file I need to copy and paste to the new Sims 3 file? I really need it back because I use quite a bit of it and it's missing from my games.

It's much worse than I thought! I seem to have lost most of my EP's and SP's also. I have them all (or did). Am I going to have to reinstall?  What did I do wrong? I copied and pasted both the Downloads and Saves files from the old Sims 3 file to the new one. I've re-read the tutorial I found here and it would appear that I did the reset correctly. I'm afraid I've really botched things up this time!

I did open both files (Downloads and Saves) in the new Sims 3 file and everything is in there, but absolutely nothing shows up in the launcher. It's completely empty.

You do need to move your CC back when you do a factory reset. It's DCCache and ccmerged.package in DCBackup if your CC is in Sims3Packs, and the Mods folder if it's in packages.

I've never heard of it disabling EPs, though. I would do a reinstall in that case. Make sure to move your Saves, Downloads, and everything else you want to save to a safe location before doing that.

Nope, nothing. I can see my downloads and saves in the files, they just don't show up in the launcher/game. I'm thinking that a reinstall isn't going to fix that problem...correct?
