Really, Mercedes, an old guy while you're pregnant? Lol! Loving Sadie's competitiveness.

She's a sneaky one. After all that, you'd think she'd try and hang on to Rich for just a little longer!  :D

Oh, my gawd that was so manly of Javed. He should consider for wearing high heels and make up instead. I prefer men proposing women actually like the old way :P

Yeah, he's not the most manly of men. Oh well, Sadie likes him anyway.

I prefer men proposing to the ladies as well but I just got lazy.  :P

I'm really liking this so far. Good choice of founders!

Thank you, Jamie. I've never played Sadie or Javed (or Rich or Mercedes) and I haven't played Starlight Shores for such a long time because I lost my Showtime code. It's a very nice town, actually.

I agree with Eld. That Javed is not-so-manly enough. He should deserved a new makeover and let's see the wonder that he could create with so many possibility, I think that can make this even more funnier, he’s act so manly while in not-so-manly outfits ;D

I may update his wardrobe at some time but it takes me quite a while as I have a ridiculous amount of CAS content which takes forever to load! Perhaps when he ages up.  :)

This is really good so far! Javed Meir has always been one of my favorite sims. I'm glad he's part of this story. Mercedes showing up for a sing-a-gram was hilarious.

I started in Starlight Shores for my RTJ as well, however Mercedes died the second day of the file.  :o

Chapter 3 - Toddlers

Mercedes continues her affair (with Charlie Ray Buckshot) behind Rich's back. At least she's better at hiding it from Rich than she was hiding it with Rich.

She was just heading over to Charlie Ray's house when she went into labour. Like that's not going to draw attention.

She went to the hospital and give birth to a baby girl named Abbie. Rich loves her, even if her mother is a sneaky cheat.

Rich: Did you say something, Watcher?

*whistles*

Sadie: Watcher! A little attention here, please.

I didn't realise you were a diva, Sadie.

Sadie: I'm not but I'm pregnant! It's a bit deal!

Unlike Mercedes and Rich, Sadie and Javed's relationship is strong.

She went into labour beside the pool, a bit like Mercedes, but this is the family's pool, not the pool of Charlie Ray Buckshot's ex-wife.

Sadie ended up with twin boys: Sam and Scott. I was honestly not expecting twins! Sadie watched zero children's TV and listened to zero children's music. Neither she or Javed have the fertility treatment. It's just totally random!

This is Scott:

And this is Sam, who also happens to have powers of levitation:

Rich and Javed are great fathers.

Here are the three little guys as toddlers.

Abbie:

Sam (who is looking a lot like Sadie):

And Scott (who is looking a lot like Javed):

Rich still loves his little Abbie and she loves him too!

Rich: Who do you love more, Abs, me or mummy?

Abbie: You! *thinking* Even though your arm is stuck in my shoulder! Ow, ow, OW!

Welcome Abbie, Sam, and Scott!

When will Mercedes stop cheating? First she had an affair with Rich, now Charlie Ray Buckshot?  ::)

Scott's little mohawk almost matches Javed's Mohawk.

Cheating in the Sims 3 fun but it seems like a guilty pleasure isn't it? Sometimes I want to make my Sims cheating over the town but to know that I'm Hopeless Romantic to begin with, that was hard :P After the exciting thing playing hide and seek, in the end I feel sorry for the Sims that I cheated over and restarted over from beginning :P

Welcome to the new addition to the family, Abbie, Sam and Scott. Do you give them name based on background story on them? (i.e from your favourite TV Show or totally random?) I'm curious ;D

I was laughing when I saw this line.

That was funny, I just wondering about hiding it with Rich. That must be so priceless!

Chapter 4 - Adults and Children

Oh dear, Mercedes. You’re such a cheat.

Mercedes: I know! It’s fun being me.

*sigh*

Mercedes: Yay, another one!

And I’m guessing that that isn’t Rich’s baby.

Mercedes: Should I tell him? He won’t mind will he?

Why don’t you find out...?

Mercedes: Hi there, Rich. I know you were all excited about the baby, but it’s not actually yours. I don’t really love you, either. Are you okay with that?

Rich: Seriously, Mercedes! You are a nasty piece of work! You never helped with Abbie anyway. Have you ever given Abbie her bottle? No!

Mercedes: Well... err... you’re a stupid llama! I hate this house anyway, it smells of nooboos. I’m out of here!

Abbie: Yay, mean Mummy is gone! I can come out of hiding.

Abbie aged into a pretty little girl, fond of painting. She rolls the Good sense of Humour trait to go with Disciplined and Hates the outdoors.

Sam and Scott are still toddlers and now that their toddler training is all done, they spend most of their time with those demon dolls their imaginary friend dolls. Scott’s doll is named Wiggles and Sam’s is Patterns.

Sam is very fond of Patterns the Devil Doll and plays with her all day long.

His obsession with Patterns continued into his child years. The other children at school teased him about having a dolly but he didn’t mind. Patterns was his very best pal.

Scott was more interested in real people, particularly Abbie. Most of the stories he told her didn’t quite make sense (he’s insane and has a keen interest in aliens) but she didn’t seem to mind.

Soon Abbie tired of hearing endless rambles of alien invasions, so she suggested that Scott write some of these stories down. He wasn’t sure at first, but soon decided to pen his first novel: ‘The Aliens are Coming!!’

Scott: It’s about a boy called Nosam T.T Ocs who tells everyone that the aliens are coming and they don’t believe him and then the aliens come and everyone is vaporised apart from him and he says “Ha ha, I told you the aliens were coming!”.

Yup, he’s definitely insane.

Patterns: I’m a real girl!

Not quite, Patterns. Sam is the only one who can see you and you’re still very... fabric-ish

Patterns: Aw.

Sam: Patterns! You’re real!

Winter arrived in Starlight Shores. It doesn’t make that much difference to the family, other than the fact that whatever they do outside will be accompanied by the chattering teeth moodlet, with or without outerwear.

Sam and Patterns enjoyed it at least. What is more fun than making a snowman in the dark with your imaginary friend?

Abbie and Scott prefer to have their fun time indoors. Like me...

Scott: These graphics just blew my mind
Abbie: Yeah, these graphics are more realistic than we are!

Javed aged into an elder and received a cool jacket. It’s a small compensation to make up for the fact that he now has a weird elder nose. No offense, Javed.

Javed: Oh, none taken.

Rich has been exploring relationships with some new girls. They’re nice, but any girl would seem nice after Mercedes.

(First picture was pre-winter)

And Sadie has been hopping from venue to venue, performing terrible shows.

Sadie: They’re not terrible!

That’s what the reviews say...

Blonde hair woman: Goodness, she must be freezing in that dress!
Brown hair woman: Do you think that’s why her singing is so bad?
Blonde hair woman: No, I think she really is that bad.

Sorry for the very long hiatus. Christmas, school and other stories have just gotten in the way lately. I've been playing this file a lot this week so I've got enough screenshots for another chapter. It's half-term next week, so I should have plenty of time to write up the next chapter, if not two.  :)

Chapter 5 - Birthdays Galore!

Nearly everyone in the household had a birthday, very close together. I thought that when I decided to take a short break from my 4x4 that I wouldn’t have to write about so many birthdays. I guess I was wrong.

First was Abbie who aged up by the easel.

Unfortunately, it seems she has developed many of Mercedes’ not-so-nice genes (particularly her eyes). But at least her cute Harry Potter style glasses cover it up a bit.

Next were Scott and Sam who actually got a cake each. CAKE!!

Scott:

Sam:

The boys went off to get their makeovers and I think I have officially decided who the heir will be... *drum roll*... SCOTT! Seriously, he is adorable!

But don’t feel bad, Sam. You’re gorgeous too.

Scott: Wow, now that I’m a teen I have suddenly noticed how pretty Abbie is.
Abbie: Wow, now that I’m a teen I have suddenly noticed how handsome Scott is.

Aw, just aw.

Patterns: *thinking* I wish I could use one of those fancy tablet things. They don’t work for me because my hands are made of fabric.
Rich: *calling from other room* Sam! I’ve got a present for you!

Rich: I’ve been dabbling around with my chemistry set and I made this potion that I think you might want.
Sam: What is it?
Rich: Give it to Patterns and you’ll find out.

Sam: Patterns, Uncle Rich* gave me this to give to you so...

Sam: Woah, what’s happening?!

And so, Patterns turned into a beautiful... boy??

For Llamas’ sake! I must have clicked on the wrong button when I was setting Patterns’ gender! But Sam doesn’t seem to mind.**

Sadie and Rich also had birthdays, but they were just ageing to adults and that’s not very important/exciting.

And finally, here’s a cool shot of Javed snowboarding.

*While Rich may not be their real uncle, Sam and Scott always refer to him as Uncle Rich

** This was quite strange for me because normally my Sims aren't attracted to the same gender unless I make them flirt first, then the attraction thing pops up. All Sam and Patterns did was give each other a friendly hug and then it was triggered. Unusual for me, but just adorable!  :D

Scott is adorable! I actually kind of like Abbie; she looks a bit like Blair Wainwright, in my opinion.

Indeed!  :D

Thank you very much, bubbles!

Scott is adorable! I actually kind of like Abbie; she looks a bit like Blair Wainwright, in my opinion.

She does actually. They've got similar hair.

I think with the right glasses, Scott would look Harry Potteresque.

Now I'm going have to try that out! I think he would... that would be even more adorable!

I am enjoying the interactions between the characters, I have had some good laughs at what is said.

Thanks, Janna! They're very fun to play  :)

Chapter 6 - Romance and Retirement

We begin this chapter with some tragic news. The family's pet squirrel, Nutty 2.0, passed away. I bet you didn't even know that Nutty 2.0 was there, because nobody ever mentioned him. I bet you didn't know about the original Nutty the Squirrel, because nobody mentioned him either. However, it was a harsh blow on the family...

But then they bought Nutty the Third and everybody was happy again.

The teens all went to the prom (Scott was there, he just went in a taxi for some reason). Nothing really happened, apart from a couple of fights, some dance rejections and a load of cool, underwater themed decorations.

On Love Day, everyone went to the festival park, and, since it was Love Day, the Sam and Scott decided to finally go for it!

Abbie: Let's take try the Love Tester.
Scott: Yeah!

Abbie: Woo, look how high that is!

Sam: We got the top score!!

I am the only one who is dying of Sam and Pattern's adorability? Is adorability even a word? WHO CARES!! They're so cute together!!

Sadie put on a show and her children were horrifically embarrassed about their mother's terrible singing. They just hoped nobody from school would recognise them.

Sadie:  ♪♫♪ Neeeear..... Faaaaaar.... Wherever you aaaaare! I believe that the heart does go on... ♪♫♪

Javed had left the park earlier to perform the final gig of his career. It involved a load of crazy contortions and a huge flaming wheel.

He retired the minute he got home. He'd reached the top of his career and his dream was fulfilled. Now it was time to help his kids with their dreams, whatever they may be.
