CAS Contests 2013: 16 - Elder Sims Style

The Problem:
The problem comes as no surprise to all you Immortal Dynasty players.  I'm talking, of course, about the dearth of attractive clothing for Elder Sims.  "Old age is not for wimps" - I'm not sure who said that first, but it's true.  Put yourself in the position of the poor Sim having an elder birthday.  You've had the spinning and the sparkles, and now it's off to the mirror to admire yourself.  Or not, because the reflection facing you has suddenly lost all muscle tone - who knew it could happen so fast?  And what's with the bent-over posture that makes it look like you're looking for something on the floor?  But you're no wimp - you can cope with those indignities.  So off you go to your closet to find something special to wear for your birthday party and - what happened to your clothes?  All those wonderful garments you've lovingly collected from Expansion Packs, Stuff Packs, and even the Store - gone? 

Your Task:
Elder Sims require wardrobe help!  Can you create an attractive and original Elders' wardrobe using only garments available to Elders in the Base Game, Expansion Packs and Stuff Packs?  Using no Custom Content or Store items, design a collection a self-respecting Elder Sim would be proud to wear.  Colour and pattern will be your friends!  Your collection may include up to six outfits.  Will your collection include outfits for both men and women, or will you limit yourself to clothing for just one gender?  Perhaps you would like to concentrate on the needs of the plus-size market.  Will your collection focus on a particular type of garment such as sports wear or formal gowns?  So many choices.  You are the designer.  The creative decisions are yours.  You may use any Elder Sims to model your collection.  What matters in this contest is the clothing collection, not the models.

"This contest was right up my alley - I mean, who doesn't think elder sims need more clothes choices? I decided to do clothes sims could live in, so we had the fun outfits for going on vacation and experiencing new things. The flirty component for new or old romance and frosty outwear because I think that is one of the hardest categories to do well for elders. I like my sims to dress their age, so no bare bellies or trying to still be young adults  (that's what young again potions are for ).

I'm simply thrilled with having won this challenge since I think I had very stiff competition. Congratulations to all the entrants and thank you challenge team for coming up with this fun challenge."

I just want to say thank you for the challenge team especially Schipperke who help me how to enter this contest. It has been fun, because I really want to participate this contest but I don’t know how to. Oh, and I wish there’s similar contest like this. I can't handle Sims very well but I love choosing pattern for my Sim. I will wait for the next entry!
