Query regarding new lighting from Into The Future

I love many of the new objects from Into The Future but especially the new lights. I noticed in the premade houses they are placed on platforms at the correct height, however when I try and do this in building my own houses I can't get them to sit at the correct height - they sit above the top of the wall.
So my question is how can I make my lights sit on the platform like the ones in the premade houses - basically what is the trick they used to get them to do this ?

Can you click and drag on the lights to adjust heights like you can wall decorations?

Have you tried using the cheat moveobjects on/off?

I have tried the usual things like moveobjects on etc but can't get them to sit normally on the wall and other lights I have tried some will go up and down but these new ones don't seem to and yet ingame in quite a few of the premade houses in Oasis landing the lights sit on top of platforms without jutting above the top of the wall and I'm puzzled how they did it...
