I have gotten my sim to marry emit while he was in his time traveler state. I just used a cheat to add him to my family and then got him to make all the moves. My sim now lives with him and their beautiful 3 children. She is married to him and he still helps her with time traveling.

Doh! I really wanted one of my sims to marry Emit when she first met him but could never even flirt, so she devoted her life to bot building and growing plant babies instead LOL. I might download mastercontroller again and do a sneaky 'add to active household' ;)
