Seriously, this is a wonderful story; I'm enjoying it a lot. So much crazy antics! Puzzle flirting with everyone, Tracey making a move on Grim, all the ghosts, the evil Shallows with their complicated relationships: all of it, really. Good on Stone for finally making his move.

Eldridge, yes daycare can help a bit with town population, only a couple of the families moved in when I was doing it but quite a lot of the toddlers ended up living in town when they became young adults, so I can't say it helped the empty school situation but it did add some young adults to my game instead of all elders. Story progression is an odd thing though, in the attempt where I got to gen 3 before failing it was doing a great job yet in this one it did a terrible job of keeping the town alive, it seems to vary between games.


Chapter 49: Garden Of Love

When Stone took up inventing I gave him 24 shower cans, he's already used 17 which is rather alarming, I really don't want him to run out so it seemed like now would be a good time for a trip to China.

"Stone I think it's about time we got you some more shower cans, here's my certificate of partnership now go book yourself two tickets to China."

"Two?".

"Well you will need somebody to take care of the cooking, your grandfather always did it when we stayed there."



"Well I guess mum can take some vacation time, she's probably long overdue."

"It's not for your mother silly, honestly Stone you are so clueless at times, it's for Nadia."

"Oh!"



"Hello Humberto, I was given strict instructions to look after you old boy."



There was a good reason for sending Nadia with Stone, cooking was an excuse really as he could easily eat at the market, I wanted to give them some time alone, I know first hand how difficult it is trying to find some time to be alone together in a house full of other people.



I knew Nadia would love China, it would appeal to her love of the outdoors as it's so pretty and there are many places to fish.



Before they left I gave Stone a very precious item, one I had kept for a long time, my mothers engagement ring, I know he wished to propose to Nadia and I wanted her to have it.

"Your Great Aunt MaryKay got married in China you know, at the Scholars Garden, it's a lovely spot there, you should take Nadia, show her about the place." I had told him.

Stone took my advice and took Nadia to the Scholars Garden, it would seem that place has an effect on people as he chose that moment to propose.



"Hi mum, guess what? were getting married! mum?......mum calm down, no I don't know what sort of cake we want.......dress? I thought I'd wear a suit.......oh for Nadia!".



It wasn't all good news though, poor old Humberto died, but then he had lived a very long time.



When Nadia was born it had been my hope that these two would one day marry, I'm so thrilled that this day has finally arrived.



Grace outdid herself with the cake as usual.



Trust Stone to get the dancing back to front, shouldn't he be twirling Nadia?



All the guests said it was an awesome wedding, I totally agree, especially as this time I didn't have to do any post party cleaning.

Chapter 50: Master Invention

Stone is still in need of a pink diamond, during their trip to China Nadia took up martial arts and has been breaking space rocks trying to find one.



Stone is up to his old tricks once more.

"Er don't go down there mister I just put...............oh too late."



Nadia's space rock breaking had to come to an end for a while though as she was pregnant.



The days passed quickly and soon baby Tad arrived.



The morning after his birth a special delivery arrived in the mail, from Grandma's second cousin Bertha, Grace has no cousins so it had to be Puzzle, which considering what this delivery was it seems more likely.



The early days fly by so fast, it's Tad's birthday already.



He has Nadia's colouring, I guess time will tell if he looks more like her or Stone, he doesn't quite have the sweet temperament his father had as a toddler but he's just as easily impressed and as excitable as his mother.



He has lots of playmates due to all the daycare toddlers, and Stone has been teaching him to walk and talk.



Nadia had her adult birthday as well, she is the first person since MaryKay not to have a mid life crisis, seems she's is very content with her life which is good.



After such a long time of searching I found not one but two pink diamonds on the same day.



I went straight home and cut them into hearts.



"Here Stone this is for you."

"Oh wow a pink diamond, oh thank you Gran I'll get this to the Science facility right away."



The moment he got back I just had to find out what it had all been for.

"So what is this mysterious invention?"

"A simbot! at last I can finally make what I've always dreamed of."



It has been Stone's dream ever since he took up inventing to create simbots, I'm happy he can finally fulfill that dream but I had to be the bearer of bad news.

"Stone I made a choice for all of us when I started this and as much as it pains me to say it if you make this invention your simbot child cannot stay in this house, you will have to let it go."



It couldn't have been easy for him to decide to go ahead but he had waited his whole life for this chance.



"It's alive!".



Stone shook the hand of his son Teddy and said his farewells, Teddy thanked Stone for creating him and said he felt sure they would meet again, and I'm sure they will too.



Once Teddy had gone the realisation of what he had just done suddenly hit Stone.



I doubt it will stop him from doing it again though.

Finally! Took you a long time, Stione, congratulations on the wedding =D Hopefully Tad will have a future spouse due to the daycare business blooming.

Chapter 51: China Doll

Tad's museum pieces are all finished ready for his birthday.



But first we have to wait for his father to return from China, I knew it was a mistake to let him go away on his own, he does crazy things if left to his own devices like lining up a lot of portable stereos...



.......and then setting them to go off in a domino fashion one after the other.



When the call came from the Chinese authorities I had to make a lot of excuses to get them to let him stay, they even threatened to revoke my certificate of partnership, in the end they settled on a hefty fine and a promise that he would not blow up anything else during his visit. The last part was more by default really as Stone said he no longer needed to blow things up, but the Chinese have now dubbed him the Diabolical Detonator.



Stone arrived home on his birthday.



I had another gift for him, the second pink diamond, it was hard to let Teddy go but he's determined to make at least two more simbots.



His last sculpture is already done, eccentric as ever in his bow tie and eureka pose.



He has mastered inventing and reached the top of his career now, City Hall even honoured him with the key to Riverview in a special ceremony. Grace and Nadia attended but I had to stay with the children, he could have at least taken his apron off for it.



Stone is almost ready for his ambrosia now, he just needs his portrait and photograph and some friends, spending your life in a basement is not conducive to meeting people and he knows hardly anybody outside the family.

But for Tad it is all just beginning.



Of course when Tad grew up so did his little friend, even if we can't see her there will be no doubting Tad if he says she is there, not after Puzzle.



Grace took them both up to the room where we stored all Tom's potions, I'm sure Tad will be spending a lot of time in here as it's also the gym and he's quite athletic.

"When I was your age nobody believed me when I told them about your grandmother, but my grandfather did, he made me a very special potion that turned Puzzle real and he also left some more behind, it's called an Imaginary Friend Metamorphum potion, if your friend drinks it she too will become real."



"This is so exciting!"



"Hello Tad."

"Yes! it worked."



She has Puzzles crazy purple and red hair and dark eyes but her skin is milky white like porcelain, she really is a China doll.

"Hello China, it's a pleasure to finally meet you at last."



Just like Puzzle she is a very perceptive child, she's also a bit of a night owl and uses any excuse not to go to sleep, like fainting because of imaginary monsters under the bed, but then maybe they are just as imaginary as she was, no, best not to think about that.

I still haven't found a pink diamond "in the wild" yet. Or gotten an imaginary friend that turned out naturally pale (I once had a family with three turned real and they were all the same shade of tan). Funny how the game can work.

Tad is adorable, I was just grateful he didn't get any of his mothers generic features it was my biggest fear about marrying Nadia but Trigger had extremely strong genetics that just kept carrying on

How to release a Simbot release into the wild? Is there will be a sell option that available upon finishing SimBot?

Once completed a box pops up asking if you wish to add to the household or release into the wild.

My boyfriend is responsible for that name, and Stone's too, I'm a bit hopeless with names and spend ages staring at the screen trying to think of something, it was nice when she came out so pale though as it fitted with the name I'd given the doll.

Chapter 52: The Wanderer Returns

Stone has used the second pink diamond I gave him to create another simbot, this time a daughter named Sheryl, one more and he will have completed his lifelong dream.



Grace is having a bit of a late life crisis I think, she was on her soap box in the nursery ranting about love and relationships, perhaps all those date calls are getting to her.



Nadia has started smashing space rocks again to help Stone, she finds lots of gems, even some tiberium but never pink diamonds.



Tad disappeared and when Stone eventually found him he was on the third floor looking at Tom's sculpture.



"What was Tom like dad?".

"I don't really know son, he died before I was born, your grandmother would be the one to ask, they were very close."

"He looks strong, I think I'd like to be that strong one day."

"Then I'm sure you will be son, you can be anything you want to be, apart from an artist, chef or inventor of course."

"Why?".

"Come with me, I think it's time we had a little chat about things."



Tad isn't the only one who disappeared, I haven't seen Dallas since Stone and Nadia went to China, all the other ghosts have been out and about frequently but Dallas just..............vanished.

Until tonight that is.

"Ouch! you dropped me!"

"Well you took me by surprise just appearing out of nowhere and throwing yourself at me."

"Me appearing out of nowhere? what about you, and why are you wearing your suit?".

"For Stone's wedding, why do you think?".

"Stone's wedding?.........Dallas, Stone got married a long time ago, they've had a child since then who's already started school, Stone's an old man now."

"But.....but I was just talking to him five minutes ago, he was telling me about his trip." thoroughly confused he floated away.



I followed him across the lawn while he got his thoughts together.

"I don't know what happened, have I really been gone that long?".

I just nodded at him, I didn't know what to say, how much I had missed him being around, how angry I felt that he had left me.



But as usual he read my mind.

"Forgive me Tracey, I never meant to leave you, I can't say it wont happen again as I don't know how it happened this time but I am sorry."

"It's okay Dallas, I'm just glad to have you back."



"Just promise me one thing?."

"Anything."

"Don't drop me again, that really hurt!".




Actually I know exactly why Dallas vanished but I never dreamt it would take him so long to appear again, I had to reset the whole town thanks to this silly horse lagging up my game.
He had somehow got himself stuck in the toilets at the fish hatchery, as for why Dallas was wearing his suit that remains a mystery perhaps he'd been at a party in the afterlife.

Chapter 53: And Then There Were Three

Just as her mother did with her, Nadia has been tutoring the children to help them get their A grade.



Good thing she did as the snow has arrived and of course snow days with it.



Thanks to Nadia, Stone finally got his last pink diamond and has completed his dream of being a monster maker, his final Simbot child was another girl named Rosanna.



Childcare is rather hectic lately, the toddlers are hard enough work but four kids not including our own two and one of them a problem child has been a bit much, Still I survived MaryKay I can survive any problem child they throw at me, nothing can possibly be worse than her teenage tantrums, or her adult ones come to think of it.



Stone has finally made his requirements, with Rosanna making his final best friend, and with his portrait completed he is ready to join his mother and myself in immortality, honestly there were times when I never thought he'd make it.



He still might not if his father has anything to say about it.



Once his portrait got put in position his museum was finally complete.



"You know this stuff is pretty good."



My kids have all become teens so another round of toddlers has arrived, Tad and China often join us for story telling.



But they too are about to start high school, China had a cold and ended up sneezing out her candles.



I thought Tad would take more after Nadia which he does in colouring but he looks a lot like Stone, Trigger had strong genes it would seem, and China is just as pretty as I thought she would be.



The two of them are inseparable, far more so than Grace and Puzzle ever were.



I guess we shall just have to wait and see where it leads.

Chapter 54: Young Love

With the completion of Stones museum pieces it was becoming increasingly obvious there was no way to fit eight generations on the third floor of the house, I guess I never quite thought through just how much space everything would require, so we now have a purpose built basement instead.

It has eight rooms, one for each immortal, which should make life much easier in the long term.



Of course Dallas had to go and inspect it all, shortly after Grace followed him down there.

"Was I really that small? seems so long ago now."



I've already started Tad's portrait but when I went to finish it it was otherwise occupied.

"Dallas get out of there, how can I paint while you are jiggling it about."



"Well you could claim you were aiming for a Picasso style."

"Not sure Tad would appreciate that somehow, I think he likes his eyes where they are."



It didn't take long for disciplined Tad to seek out the martial arts equipment, he's already decided he wants to be a grand master.



I think China might be taking a trip to her namesake in the future, I doubt Tad will want to go without her.



Despite spring arriving the snow was hanging about but it started to thaw just in time for prom, Tad and China entered as best friends forever.



And left as boyfriend and girlfriend after Tad asked China to go steady, none of us were overly surprised by that after all they are always flirting.



I have no idea why but for some reason the school bus has stopped coming to our house in the mornings, Tad got in big trouble the other day after being two hours late, lucky for him his grandmother is a soft touch and forgave him.



I can't help wondering if the absent bus is my fault, I changed jobs again and I'm now working at the school as a playground monitor, perhaps they expected the kids to catch a lift in my carpool, oh yes I can really see them getting up an hour earlier then hanging about till school starts, as if that's going to happen!

Nadia had a very happy birthday, she got a promotion to Creature Robot Cross Breeder and fulfilled her lifelong dream.



Things are going well right now, I'm almost waiting for a disaster as it just seems too good to be true, but Kurt getting his hands on my ambrosia wont be it.

"Don't even think about it old man, this is my dinner and you can't have any."



I can't say I don't feel a touch of guilt about it though, I have the means to give him life, to give them all back their lives but I can't, we are nearly half way there though and I shall do my best to make sure the trust Kurt put in me to complete this wasn't misplaced.
