Chapter 100: Making MagicSeth is going through a midlife crisis, I can't say I'm overly surprised, after all he has finished all his requirements already and has nothing to look forward to but old age, at this stage in life the rest of us had families of our own but Seth wont have that luxury I'm afraid, Donna isn't interested in starting a family, she says her house is too full for a baby but I feel those commitment issues of hers could be the true reason.
So far Seth has bought himself a new sports car and is trying to grow a beard although it has yet to progress past the stubble stage. He's also decided business just isn't his thing and has given it up to become a rock star.
Thankfully Willow forgave me for my lunacy.
"After all that I never even found anything useful, but I still think we should wait for Seth to eat his ambrosia first before we try this Willow, we can't afford to mess anything up now we are so close to the end."
Imsety still sends Willow love letters all the time, I feel it's one of the things that has spurred her on to create that potion we need.
"With luck Imsety you can make that letter come true real soon, assuming Gran masters her end of the deal."
"It's not like I'm asking for the world mum, she's a babysitter you'd think she'd love to have kids."
"Well maybe she doesn't feel ready Seth."
"Ready? if she isn't ready by now she never will be, time's running out, oh I don't know...sigh......perhaps I should just do what you and granddad did and ask Molly to sort out my love life."
"Wait it was a joke mum........put down the lamp.............."
"Wow, erm hello.......wow!".
"So you're Seth are you, well what can I do for you Seth?".
"Oh you can do anything you want Molly."
"Seth! shame on you, flirting with Molly like that, don't you have a job to go to or something."
"Gran er....yes......I was just leaving........"
"Honestly that boy, his heads all over the place lately, I'm glad you're about Molly it was you I wanted to see actually, you must know a bit about magic do you think it's possible for somebody like myself to learn it?".
"I think that's very possible, may I ask you something, that book of yours where did you find it?."
"In an old chest in the attic next door, why?".
"Let's call it curiosity, and what happened prior to you finding it?".
"Well we had recently moved here from Bridgeport, I was never really happy there but here I felt like I'd finally come home, I don't know it just felt right, I'd met Dallas and I was getting to spend more time with my parents, you know how sometimes everything just seems perfect and you wish it could stay that way forever, well that's how it was back then, only it didn't last, my parents passed away and I lost my home."
"And I bet you wanted them back didn't you, and that's when you remembered that book that had so conveniently given you a way to do so, tell me has the book always been the same or have you ever looked at it and thought I don't remember this part?".
"Well now that you mention it it is a bit odd, I've checked it daily and yet sometimes when I look there's yet another restriction, or one has been removed or altered, it's like it's evolving as time passes or something."
"Well you've read a lot of books in your time I'm sure even you can see that is unusual...........almost magical wouldn't you agree?".
"Are you saying the book is magic?".
"That's exactly what I'm saying and I'm betting all those years of reading it have rubbed off on you quite a bit, you have an aura around you Tracey, a golden one like those I have only witnessed on Witches, the magic is already in you and all you need to do is find the key to unlock it."
"Willow's potion, of course!".
"I'm sure if you tried hard enough there may even be some things you could manage without the potion."
"Thank you Molly, you've been a good friend to this family, I just wis......"
"NO! I mean no need to worry about that it's what friends do, now I better be getting back to my lamp, these visits tire me out so much, goodbye."
While Seth's love life might be suffering a bit lately his mothers was back on track once more, and yes that is Cody not Dallas, I know it's confusing isn't it.
We decided to pay a visit to Sheryl, she wasn't feeling too good so Stone wanted to check up on her.
Tad and Grace couldn't stay for very long though as they both had work but they helped me tidy up last years leaves, well Tad helped anyway Grace just played in them.
After they left I spent some time getting to know Joy, Sheryl's little dog.
But then tragedy struck, it seems Sheryl's parts had finally worn out beyond repair, her father was unable to fix her.
I didn't like the thought of leaving Joy alone in the house, Sheryl had a housemate but nobody had ever met them or knew where they were so I picked Joy up and took her home.
"Look Dallas isn't she adorable?".
"She certainly is but you can't keep her you know."
"I know but just let me enjoy it while I can."
Joy wasn't the only thing that we brought home, that night Sheryl put in an appearance and Joy was just filled with, well joy to see her owner again.
She wasn't the only one.
It seems cruel that just three days before Seth's birthday Grim would choose now to take Stone's daughter from him after she had lived for so long, I swear he delights in tormenting us.
