Chapter 78: Old Friends, New Friends and Tall TalesWillow's graduation was a somber affair but she did well getting Valedictorian and also most likely to never leave the house and despite the sorrow managed to show off her
good sense of humour with her choice of headgear.
We have all found our own ways to deal with the losses of our spouses, I have forced mine to stay about although secretly I think he likes it, for Grace it is a little easier I feel as her time with Trigger was brief and she has had the longest time of any of us to get used to it, Stone has his son and grandchildren to keep him going while Tad channels his sorrow into sheer strength by breaking space rocks.
So what does Kelly have?
A rather unexpected shoulder to cry on.
True to his word though Garrison was soon back.
But even seeing him again didn't help Kelly's mood and she decided to take it out on her mother.
But you're never too old for a telling off from mum Kelly.
A couple of days after Garrisons death Kelly had a visitor, Harold Assange.
Willow was quite taken with him.
In fact Willow was very taken with him.
But Harold had come for one reason only, to see his old friend one last time, and two days later he passed away.
"It's just so unfair, why do all mum's friends have to be so old and near death, I really liked Harold."
But not all her mothers friends were that old, although technically this one was the oldest of them all actually being older than Stone if not for his mysterious anti aging trick.
"Hello Imsety."
"Willow? you've grown since last we met."
"Yes, that happens to normal people."
"We do not have snow in Egypt, this will be my very first snowman."
"I think my movie is about to start, would you like to join me?"
"Yes, I would like that very much."
Willow had a nice time with Imsety that afternoon but it was cut short when he had to leave to catch his plane, I'm sure he will return soon though, he always does.
With her company gone and the theater getting crowded Willow went in search of somewhere more quiet.
Not much point being scared of ghosts when you live in a house that's full of them so instead Willow decided to make a new friend, Pete Kent died in a fire long ago so I guess it would be bad to say they got on like a house on fire but really they did.
But then she met somebody altogether different, Kurt's late wife Sasha Shallow.
"So that makes me your great great great great great great granddaughter."
"So MaryKay had children, but I thought she hated kids."
"No not MaryKay, Dallas."
"Dallas? then he's alive? oh that's wonderful."
"Erm no he's dead.....well I mean yes he was alive but now he's dead.......why did you think he was dead?".
"Well the accident of course, which I can see by your face you know nothing about, hmmm interesting."
Willow got so engrossed talking to Sasha she didn't notice all the other ghosts that had appeared but as soon as she realised she was surrounded she ran out of there fast.
