You know, Turoskel…now that I think about it…since you are finished with file, but still writing the story I suppose it makes more sense to keep the thread where it was. So I will move it back hehe.

It's like a game of musical chairs ;D but yes I agree it shouldn't be in completed stories until it's complete, which wont take too long as I've written the entire dynasty already just doing an epilogue now but my file is extremely huge and laggy so it's hard work  :-\

Chapter 3: Up, Up and Away

I woke Dallas early on his birthday as I had a special surprise waiting for him.

The view from the hot air balloon was amazing, we even saw a Unicorn off in the distance.

And some things we'd rather have not seen.

"Are you sure this is safe to drink? it looks radioactive."

"You worry too much, you're starting to sound like your father."

"Cheers!".

Kurt wasn't overly impressed with my birthday surprise.

"A Balloon! what did you waste money on that for?".

"Well I didn't exactly see you rummaging in filth to get that Tiberium old man, how I spend it is my choice."

As you've probably guessed we aren't exactly friends anymore, in fact Kurt has alienated the whole household, even his son Tom whom he was always friends with. I've tried really I have but he is just so pig headed, the slightest provocation sets him off and he just seems to get grumpier and more argumentative with each passing day.

June tried knocking some sense into him but I think she overdid it a tad, or maybe that was deliberate, who can say.

But now the moment I'd been waiting for these past 10 days had finally arrived, it was time for a party!

Boy, can I relate. I remember how long the Man Dynasty file took to save and open towards the end. Ugh. Very painful. Good luck finishing up. :)

Chapter 4: The Wait Is Over

Dallas was quite popular in school, which is no surprise to me, he can be quite charming when he wants to be, so there was a good turn out for his birthday party.

I've never seen him so excited, I guess he's been waiting for this as badly as I have.

Well I've seen far worse fashion but even so a quick trip to the dresser is in order, seems it's all been too much for Kurt, he's already gone to bed.

"May I have the pleasure of this dance my lady?".

"Why certainly sir."

Reminds me of prom night all over again.

The party was going great, but there's always one uninvited guest isn't there.

Well what do you know, Tom was right after all.

Unfortunately we didn't even notice June's absence, lets just say we were otherwise occupied.

To me Dallas has always been brave, so I wasn't overly surprised when after a field trip to the police department he decided to become an International Super Spy.

"Well somebody has to save the world from my sister." he told me, you see MaryKay wants to be Emperor of Evil, or should that be Empress? either way it seems childhood games of cops and robbers will become all too real in the near future.

Fascinating! Because I found three updates already! Congratulations for being in Hall of Fame, I can see your name there with CTRL + F, but didn't see the rest because I'm afraid it might spoil the fun :P

Chapter 2
It seems that you really had fun with dumpster diving! That a was nice way to tell story about Kurt.

Chapter 3
That was a nice screenshots for Tracey and Dallas together in Hot Air Ballon! I really liked the scene.

Chapter 4
At last the waiting is over! Now Tracey can have a sweet romance with our Dallas! Ah, poor June! At last that she will avoid "stir crazy" moodlet for awhile! Have fun while Aliens probe you, June ::)

That was actually a sweet idea for cop and robber things! Dallas vs MaryKay? I just wonder what will happen to two of them in the future!

I wish I could say it was my idea but they chose those themselves, Dallas usually wants to be a criminal as well, it was a bit surprising he wanted to join the police but not the first time he's rolled that wish.

Posting chapters 5 and 6 together as they fit in the picture limit.

Chapter 5: Love Is In The Air

"Thaluth, thaluth helf!"

"Just a second mum, I'll fetch my chainsaw."

"Whath!!"

There are times when I doubt my wisdom of letting evil people loose with chainsaws, especially when they rev them up and laugh maniacally, it's rather disturbing.

The balloon has so far been worth every extravagant penny, it even managed to fix Tom and June's ailing marriage. A quick drink of cider left them feeling rather cuddly, and well one thing leads to another.

As for us well we are just taking things slowly at the moment.

Or so I thought, but Dallas had other ideas.

Chapter 6: The Graduates

My painting was going well but my portraits were a disaster, perhaps it's pre wedding jitters causing my shaky hand.

What on earth could be making MaryKay pull this face?

Why her grandfather on a trampoline of course, maybe she's hoping he'll fall off.

To say they don't get on is an understatement, they loath each other with a passion yet they are so similar, but maybe that is part of the problem.

The age gap between Dallas and MaryKay is small, I reckon June must have fallen pregnant the day she had Dallas, if MaryKay had any friends I'd have thrown her a party as well, unfortunately she doesn't play well with others so she's not very well liked, only her father and brother like her, but I have a feeling even those wont last unless she changes her ways.

So instead we just had a small family celebration, she'll need to be fit for her new job so she is going to be more athletic in future.

A quick wardrobe change and she's back to her old self, unfortunately. Seriously my heart can't take much more of this scaring.

Dallas has not been getting on too well with his father, it started going downhill a while back and it's only getting worse over time, I have a feeling I know why but neither of us wants to say it outright, I just keep out of Tom's way as best as I can and so far he's left me alone.

The garden has been set up ready for the wedding and the weather is glorious, there's just one small snag, graduation gets called. It's busy at City Hall, a lot of students are graduating today.

Dallas and MaryKay did well, MaryKay got valedictorian which was surprising and most likely to be a sports star. Who votes for these things? do they even know who MaryKay is? if they did they'd have voted her most likely to take over the world, but then maybe the reason they didn't was because they trust Dallas to stop her evil plots as they voted him most likely to save the world.

It was far too late to get married today so we postponed until tomorrow, but there was still one more thing to do, Tom's birthday.

You're supposed to be watching your father Dallas.

Chapter 7: To Have And To Hold

The big day has arrived and the guests are all taking their seats, invited and uninvited.

Dallas looks so goofy, it's sweet.

The ceremony went smoothly, almost, I chose to ignore the fact his family all stood up and turned their backs on it, they did watch at the end though.

"Hurry up Dallas I'm melting." with hindsight it might have been better to have had an enclosed roof. I had a sudden vision of a mass spontaneous combustion happening and decided that yes it would be much better.

Still the guests seemed happy enough despite the heat.

MaryKay got chatting to an old school colleague, I hesitate to call Maximus her friend because he isn't, although they do seem to get on fairly well, she didn't shout at him once which is a miracle in itself.

The reception wound down and the guests slowly departed, and we made our way into what had once been the room Dallas had shared with Kurt and was now ours. It would have been nice to have a honeymoon, it's always been our dream to visit China, maybe one day in the future we will get that chance but for now I'm happy right where I am.

3 chapters in one update! Well, you're right! Their wishes sometimes give us unexpected things to write and that always fun!

5
I never get that pose, where Sim had their tongue at Ice sculpture thing. It's a random things for Sculptor?
Well, look at him. It's a sweetest surprise for Tracey and a nice way to close the chapter with!

6
I just love how you write out their character based on their traits and biography :)
I love to see where this is going and you treat them well! Well, just look at Marykay! She got Valedictorian!
Marykay Vs. Dallas! That will be awesome!

7
Tracey looks lovely with her wedding dress, her hair fits her well. That was quite a screenshot for a wedding party especially when Dallas cutting the cake. Well, congratulations! I can see nooboo will coming in the next chapter :D

Thank you both  :D

Yes the licking the ice is a random thing, I paused an awful lot during this game and sometimes I got lucky and caught things just at the right moment, there's a totally autonomous scorcher coming in later chapters that I would have missed if I hadn't paused to check what people were up to, made me go  :o when i saw it :D

Bearing in mind this is already written updates will be thick and fast, the dynasty itself came to 101 chapters and the epilogue is looking like 4-5 parts, lots of loose ends to tie up for that, the longer the game went on the more the story evolved in my head and I got a bit carried away writing, these early chapters were all written in hindsight well after I played it but the rest was written shortly after it happened and when I had a slightly more fixed idea of where it was going.

I shall probably post 8, 9 and 10 later today  :D

Chapter 8: Love And Hate

June has finished the ice personality challenge and so she asked Kurt to pose for an ice sculpture.

"Heroic pose, yes that it's, make me look heroic."

"What's this? I look drunk, I asked for heroic!"

I've been around this lot too long, they're starting to rub off on me, it's not good.

As a teenager Dallas never answered his father back, all that changed when he grew up, now they are constantly at each others throats.

But they manage to put their animosity aside for a while to help June celebrate her birthday. If there is one thing they do agree on it's that they both love her dearly. The change in Tom and June's relationship has been quite astounding, at one time it looked like they were heading for divorce but now they are totally devoted to one another.

MaryKay on the other hand can't stand June, mother and daughter fight just as much as father and son.

Not my little one though, our baby will be adored by both parents.

"Is she feeling her tummy? that better just be too much cake in there." what's the matter MaryKay don't you want to be an auntie?

Kurt has learnt everything he can when it comes to logic, and he's upgraded every bit of plumbing in the house to be self cleaning, something I am extremely grateful for. He can now officially class himself as a true Tinkerer, but he still wanted a hobby so we invested in a chemistry lab, I'm not sure what he does with it but sometimes it stinks so I made him put it outside. He says he's working on a liquid horror potion, sounds like the sort of thing he'd do.

He'd just perfected it when he discovered an altogether different sort of horror.

Kurt Shallow left this life the same way he had lived it, annoyed.

Despite nobody being overly fond of Kurt we were all upset by his death, well most of us anyway.

I felt sort of bad when he died like I could have paid him more attention, got him involved in stuff more, tried to make him happier, as it was he died a lonely grumpy old man in a house full of people, sad really.

Chapter 9: A New Life

I feel like a beached whale, but then maybe this isn't the most flattering of poses, Dallas doesn't seem to mind though.

June is making him an ice sculpture, I was hoping she could do mine but I want it done in my wedding dress and no way will that fit at the moment.

Laurel came to see me, I always liked Laurel but her and Dallas have never got on, I haven't seen her much since school but it's hard to hold a conversation when you keep getting distracted by the pointy man in the background. She told me she's taken over the consignment store from Hunter Cottoneye, perhaps she might be able to get me the Hikon camera he never could.

Tom has been working hard on his lifetime wish of perfect mind, perfect body and he finally does it after yet another marathon session on the treadmill.

He'd just finished when I went into labor, who would have thought a baby coming would cause a sudden onset of mass migraine.

"Okay, so none of you want to take me to the hospital, no need for all this performance." at least Dallas has some sense about him, he didn't panic at all.

A short while later we emerged with baby Grace, if I look a little disappointed maybe that's because the doctors said she might be a bit clumsy like me, she's also showing signs of being neurotic, ah the wonders of genetics, at least she isn't evil.

Our house is way too small and there's nowhere to put a crib other than in with MaryKay, she wont be too happy when she wakes up and finds a baby in her room.

June though is overjoyed with her new grandchild.

Chapter 10: Breathing Space

Dallas never makes the bed, it's so annoying.

But I realise my annoyance isn't so much with him as with everything, the house is too small, we live in each others' pockets and it grates on everybody, we need more space, my daughter needs a proper nursery, June and I could do with a proper studio to work in, the others need a space they can exercise in, and we all need a room where we can just relax, sit and read or listen to some music, anything but what we have now.

Money is no longer such an issue as it was, June makes a lot with every sculpture now, Tom is earning good wages and Dallas and MaryKay are also earning, If anything it's me that is lagging behind with my painting, although they are getting better they still don't sell for big money yet. But what we do have saved will build us a nice new home.

The ground floor has a nursery, our bedroom, two bathrooms, a lounge, kitchen and dining room.

Upstairs will probably switch around as time goes on but for now four rooms have a fixed purpose, a bedroom for Tom and June and one for MaryKay and two more bathrooms.

Now that Grace has arrived I can finally get my sculpture done.

This room is usually a hive of activity, we are both trying to complete the ice personality challenge, it's my hope that June will be around for a long time to come but if not Dallas will take on the task of doing my sculptures, in a way it's nice as I can work on it at a more leisurely pace, not too leisurely though as you never know what might happen.

Before we demolished the old house Dallas had finished my portrait, despite the odd hiccup it turned out rather nice.

I tried once more to get a Hikon camera but no luck, the cannon will just have to do for now, so with my sculpture finished one of the empty rooms gets turned into a temporary museum, eventually we will build a third story that will be used for all the portraits, pictures and sculptures. I decided to leave my portrait on the fancy easel, I've heard tales of walls eating paintings and once gone you can never get them back.
