Reading as chapter after chapter is published. I admire the fact that you took all of these photographs while playing and can recall the exact context, even now, after you've already made HOF. You must be very good at taking notes and organisation in general.

Thank you, the first few chapters were written well after the fact, I did jot down anything I thought might be useful but mostly I built it around the screenshots I took at the time.

The later chapters were probably written a week or less after they happened so still fresh in my mind, I still noted down things while I played as well.

When I first decided to write it I asked my boyfriend if he knew of a program I could use, what I really wanted was something where I could do each chapter separately and add pictures and also be able to just jump to a chapter instead of scrolling a long page and he found me a freeware program called Advanced Diary (I'm using version 1.3 which was the last freeware version, you have to buy later versions), it's been great, I just do each chapter as a new day, I can rename them from the date to the chapter title, add in my pictures and it's all in a list down the left hand side so I can jump to any chapter at any time.

What I ended up doing was having my screenshots open, writing the story to go with it then putting in the screenshot number, then later when I had more time I would crop and add the screenshot, that worked quite well as the writing was quick enough it's the pictures that took the time.

So by the time my dynasty was finished I had written 95% of it I just had to go back and sort all those pictures

Chapter 42: Kaboom!

Zebulon is a very athletic man, he's nearly at the top of his career and has achieved his dream of Superstar Athlete, but you wouldn't think it if you saw how winded he got playing tag with Nadia.



It seemed like a nice idea at the time to get chickens and bees, the fresh eggs are nice to have and the little chicks are adorable, but the bees are another matter entirely, they don't really like people trying to take their honey as Grace found out when they chased her away.



It's been that sort of day really, fed up with Stone ruining my lawn I told him he wasn't to blow anything else up in the garden, so he decided to do it at the junkyard instead, not a good idea.



Not only did he blow up the junk piles he also totalled a truck and a sloppy jalopy and shattered the glass bookshelf inside the office, not to mention the fact he almost blew himself up as well.



While Stone was busy blowing everything up Puzzle was busy tutoring Nadia, poor kid had missed her first day of school due to heavy snow, had attended on Friday then had a long weekend because of Stones graduation, she had just two days left to try and earn an A grade.



Oh and I forgot to do a certain something, I think I'm getting as absent minded as Zebulon, sorry Grace.



"So your mother has met Bonehilda."

"Hah, I bet that was fun!".

"Not for her it wasn't, she wouldn't come back in the house until I sent Bonehilda away."

Poor Grace she must have run around the entire house about three times in panic, somehow I just can't see Bonehilda working out.



Our home is getting full of various contraptions, mostly Stone's doing, although I do like the LLAMA transporter, we put one in the basement and I added one to my property Riverwalk Park, Grace also added one to the Gazebo and now Stone has just purchased the consignment store and placed one there. he will be popping back and forth a lot selling his inventions and this will save him so much time.



I do worry about him though, we made sure to put a shower in next to his workshop and I gave him a stack of shower cans his grandfather had left, good thing too as my fears came true today when he suffered his first butt fire.



City Hall has been very impressed with his inventions so far and have awarded him trophies and ribbons, and he also got a phone call about a master invention, he needs palladium which we don't have, if he can't find any in town I know just the place to get some, I haven't returned to China since Dallas died and I'm not sure if I ever will but I know he'd have little trouble finding it there.



Our LLAMA will also take us to the new elixir store that opened in town, although we do have a gem cutter it's noisy and as everybody was still asleep I took a trip to the elixir shop to cut the stack of gems I had collected while trying to help Stone find his palladium.

"I'm sure I forgot to do something....no, can't remember, oh well I'm sure it will come back to me eventually."



Nadia did manage to get her A grade at school, a great achievement in such a short time.



She may not have inherited her mothers wacky hair or dark eyes, she hasn't even got any hidden imaginary friend abilities, but one thing she did inherit from her mother was her beauty, Puzzle has never been short of admirers and I have a feeling Nadia will be the same. I just hope a certain someone under her own roof might take his nose out of his contraptions long enough to notice her as well.



On the surface all appears rosy with this little family.



But underneath things are not quite as happy as they seem, Puzzle is up to her old tricks again only this time it's not with my husband, it's with my grandson.



Stone accepts her compliments but doesn't return them, he just doesn't think of Puzzle that way, his interests only lie in one direction at the moment, blowing stuff up.

Chapter 43: Socially Awkward

Nadia has decided she wants to follow in her mother's footsteps and join the science career, she already has a green thumb and has been helping Puzzle in the greenhouse.



Stone is still spending all his time in the basement, he invented a time machine, an actual time machine!



"How dare they betray me, just wait till I come back then I'll show you."



"Woah, Stone calm down! what have you been doing anyway? a bit early for spooky day isn't it."



"Huh? oh this er it's nothing....erm....you look nice...er"

"Thank you, it's prom tonight."



"Prom? already? but you only just started high school."

"Yes, already, blimey Stone where have you been the dark ages."

"Middle."

"Sorry?".

"Middle ages not dark."

"Whatever, I better go he'll be waiting."

"He...er.......so you have a date?".



"A date? oh no I meant the limo driver."

"Oh, that's good......I mean that you get to go in a limo of course....not that you don't have a date....erm.."

"Right........ well I'll be off then."

"Erm okay........have fun."



Not sure if Nadia did have fun really, her prom was almost a carbon copy of Stone's even down to breaking the backdrop, one thing differed though, it had aliens!



"Oh my, what has he been doing now?".



"Is that blood? Stone how many times must I tell you, be careful! you could single handedly ruin this whole dynasty with your antics."



"Honest Gran it's not what you think it was just a small skirmish, I was never in any danger I swear."



I don't think I will be happy until he has that deathflower, that boy is an accident waiting to happen. Why can't he stick to nice soft battles like his mother, far less danger involved with a pillow.

I never played around with chicken and bees, maybe I should try it sometimes. Yeah, heavy snow can be such a problem. I remember that my heiress always have holiday almost every day and she only got a slim chance to get an A. Thankfully, she finally achieved it. Heavy snow can be such disaster But, I wouldn't mind if this happen in real world anyway, so I can get holiday everyday Just kidding.  Congratulations Nadia! You made it! So proud of you ^^

Having time machine is fun to have with! So many random things happen, but I usually dislike when my Sims randomly having children -_-

Chapter 44: Nooboos!

I hardly ever paint or sculpt anymore, only when I need to for the museum, it just doesn't hold the appeal that it used to, and now Nadia is growing up I find I miss having little ones about the house so I've started a new job in Daycare.



To be honest I wasn't at all sure if there were any children who needed daycare, after all almost all the town consists of elders but a young couple had moved in over the road, in the Shallow's old house, and they had a little girl called Barbara they needed looking after, I also have a little boy named Seth who was dropped off by a babysitter, I don't think he lives locally.



I really enjoyed myself and both children went home happy, it had been a good day, that was until Puzzle decided to try it on with my dead husband, Dallas was not impressed, neither was Zebulon who just happened to walk through the front door at that exact moment.



I don't know why she does it, she isn't flirty by nature but she can't seem to stop flirting with other men, namely Dallas and Stone, she is far worse with Stone than she ever was with Dallas. I really thought I wouldn't have to deal with this yet again.



Puzzle apologised to Zebulon, I think they will get over this, I just hope he doesn't see her flirting with Stone.



Stone has been trying to get to know his father when Trigger is about, it's not easy though as most of the time he is fast asleep when he emerges and Trigger vanishes again before he can speak to him.



Dallas though has got himself a proper little routine going, he has even started doing things he used to do, like cooking. He still spends most of his day sat in the rocking chair, or napping in it, but he also takes baths and watches television. It's not the same as before obviously but I do enjoy having him around.



My new job is going very well, Grace only works weekends and has lots of free time so decided to play with Barbara for a bit while I finished teaching Seth to walk.



I put them in the playpen together and they started playing peek-a-boo it was so sweet.



Zebulon got promoted again, he is now a Sports Legend, he wishes to retire though, he's 88 which is pretty old for an athlete and it will be nice for him to spend more time with Nadia.



I had no doubts he would make up with Puzzle, these two have been together since high school and endured a long wait to finally get married, they wouldn't give up on it so easily now.



Zebulon retired after playing his first and last match as a Sports Legend, his team won 15 - 0, I think the Llamas are going to miss him.

Chapter 45: Death Of A Legend

It's Love Day, and Puzzle is getting in the mood but unfortunately it's not with her husband, maybe she thought flirting with Stone in the bathroom would not be noticed but it was.

"Will you all get out of here some of us need to pee!".



Apologies were given all round, I don't blame Stone he's the innocent party in all this, he never initiates the flirting or even reciprocates.



Grace can't cope with all the stress it's causing.



Neither can I when two seconds later Puzzle is at it again this time with Dallas.



Nadia retreats to her favourite spot, the pond.



And Stone goes back to setting himself on fire.



The rest of the day settles back into normality, as dusk fell Zebulon headed out to the pond to talk to Nadia but he never made it.



He has been a part of our lives almost as long as Puzzle, like the son I never had, I shall miss him.



It's a shame he never got to see his daughter graduate, but he did achieve his dream and he will live on as one of the great Sporting Legends.

Chapter 46: Heat Of The Moment

Barbara has started elementary school so I have two knew charges, a brother and sister called Blair and Becky Pence, their family has just arrived in town, I hope this is a sign that Riverview is once more attracting the younger population and not just the elderly.



Puzzle is coping well without Zebulon, but then she has plenty to distract her, including Stone, with no husband holding her back she has gone on a full out flirt assault but Stone is still either oblivious or in denial about the fact his 'aunt' has the hots for him.



He's still more interested in causing chaos than pursuing any romance, I honestly despair of him at times, why on earth he thought it would be a good idea to bunch a lot of old furniture together and blow it up I'll never know.

"This is going to be awesome!".



"Aghhh fire!!!"



It didn't take long to get totally out of control, well it had a lot of handy unexploded fuel to feed on.



Grace was amazing, she kept her cool and just got to work putting it out, I thought her father might help but apparently the dead no longer extinguish fires, in life he would have tackled it instantly.



The fire was too big for her alone, it was spreading like crazy and then Stone's pants caught alight, thank goodness he still had some shower cans.



"Where the hell is that fire engine? if it doesn't arrive soon I'll have to pee the fire out!".



Eventually the firefighter did turn up just as Grace was extinguishing the last flames, she had stayed calm throughout but now it was over she totally lost it.



Stone had not only ruined my lawn he'd ruined a lot of things, unsurprisingly the parents had shown up with my toddlers and taken them straight back home again, Puzzle missed out on a raise because she was so late for work and Nadia had missed her field trip. Barbara had come running over along with her mother and our other neighbour so she had skipped school.

"Yes so as you can see explosives are very dangerous things, I hope that has been a valuable lesson to you young lady, I think I shall go hide in my basement now before Gran decides to teach me a lesson too."



He couldn't hide there forever though, there were important things to be done, such as his sculpture.



And Nadia's birthday, all Puzzle's birthday excitement has rubbed off on her it would seem, she gets excited about almost everything.



Just as her prom had been a carbon copy of Stone's so was her graduation, she was voted valedictorian and most popular.



It's obvious there is an attraction between the two of them but they are both so wrapped up in their own interests neither of them will make the first move.



Nadia spends all her free time fishing, she finally caught her first deathfish, usually you can only catch them at night but they stay about all day in our pond.



I have no doubts that Puzzle loved Zebulon with all her heart, I know he did her, but she has repeatedly put her eternally faithful reputation on the line.



Ever since Stone came of age she has been obsessed with him, I don't know how else to put it, she would not leave him alone even though she was very happily married, but with her husband gone and Stone not taking the hint she took matters into her own hands and in the heat of the moment she kissed him.

He was gobsmacked.



For a moment anyway.



I can't say I was overly happy about this turn of events, for this dynasty to continue Stone needs to have a family and Puzzle cannot give him that, I had always hoped he would fall for Nadia but Puzzle has made it so much more complicated now. Would Nadia even be interested knowing he had kissed her mother?

But for Puzzle it was a last fling, a final chance to capture a moment of happiness before the end, just a few hours after that kiss she was gone.

Oh my gosh, Puzzle! I can;t believe how she could flirt so much with Dallas and Stone Did you try giving her a mid life crisis?

Not sure if it would have helped, she didn't actually have any flirty traits, she was just strongly attracted to them, Stone especially.

I almost missed that moment, I'd just paused the game and was checking what everybody was doing and when I selected Puzzle it said heat of the moment kiss and I thought noooooo! but at that point she had already done it, the stunned look on Stone's face is exactly how I found them and I have to say I pulled the same face he did 

That is still the one and only time I've seen that done autonomously outside of a romantic relationship, I know sims can do it they just don't seem to unless at least a romantic interest. Inappropriate sims probably will to a non romantic sim, maybe insane sims will too.

While I was still feeling flabbergasted and not quite sure how to proceed she upped and died leaving me in a right mess as the game considered them still an item, Tracey had to spend the next couple of days reading social networking books at the library just so I could break them up with the phone

Wow... Puzzle sure caused a lot of excitement (and hilarity) ... and stress.
She is quite unique. I can't think of another Sim without the flirty trait behaving like she did.
Poor soul... I'm sad she's gone.

Chapter 47: Haunted

The house seems so empty with just the four of us, Grace is very upset about Puzzle dying, sometimes I forget she had been with her since she was born.



With everything that has happened the last day Stone's birthday got pretty much forgotten, and I hadn't taken his photograph.



I dashed outside as fast as my old legs would take me but I only managed to get the top of his head, I swore I would never leave things so late after we almost forgot Grace's portrait but here I am doing it again.



It's hardly a surprise Stone is having a mid life crisis, I'm sure his emotions are in turmoil right now, he had always looked upon Puzzle as his aunt even if she technically wasn't, and then she goes and kisses him, and of course there is Nadia, any growing affection these two once had is in a very fragile state at the moment.



I can tell he's out of sorts by the fact he has hardly been in his basement tinkering, he's either staring in the mirror looking at imaginary wrinkles or lounging in the hot tub, if I have no toddlers in the house this usually involves skinny dipping, I think if he does that again though he'll make sure Bonehilda is away first.



And not just because of his mother.



My toddlers started arriving so he had to quickly find some more clothes, I never would have thought that skeleton would be so cheeky.



He is trying hard to get back in Nadia's good books, it isn't easy, she accepted his flowers.



And his hugs.



But then she turned round and threw it all back in his face, her relationship with Puzzle had got a bit strained due to Puzzle's constant pursuit of Stone and they never resolved it before she died, I'm sure her anger is more directed at her mother than at him.



Sometimes it seems as if a death in the family calls to the already departed members, seven of them were roaming the house tonight, the martial artists often sit and meditate, apart from Dallas he prefers to rock.



Trigger, Tom, Kurt and then MaryKay appeared.



The last to appear was Puzzle, who as usual went to bother Stone and woke him up, if Zebulon and June had shown up we'd have had the entire family here.



How on earth did MaryKay get a laptop? I guess I'll never know.

I didn't know Bonehilda could hide sims clothes like that, or was she just cleaning up?

Oh yes she will hide clothes, at least mine always do 


Chapter 48: Expert Advice

I got promoted once more and now have four toddlers to look after, our nursery was only built with one baby in mind so we now have a purpose built daycare room.



Dallas has started surprising me with flowers, it's very sweet.



I almost think he might be jealous of all the attention I'm giving the children as he keeps trying to distract me when I'm working.



Some bad xylophone playing soon drives him off though.



I'm glad I took this job on, yes it does take up a lot of my time and attention but it's very rewarding and the town is slowly coming back to life with all these little ones moving in.



Not all the children are collected by a parent, some have a babysitter to take them home, I really think I must be so out of touch with fashion if this is the latest look for teenagers.



Stone found some palladium behind the gym and delivered it to the science facility, they asked for some life fruit which we have plenty of but now they want a pink diamond which we don't have so back to square one on this master invention.



He's still blowing up the junkyard on a regular basis, and himself with it, we are fast running out of shower cans I think somebody may have to go to China soon to get some more.



It would seem my husband has been giving Stone a few pointers on how to woo a lady.



"Tell her she looks nice but also make sure to compliment her on her personality, don't let her think you only care about her looks."

"Right, compliments."



"And make her laugh, but in a flirty way, your dad was the expert there, women love a good sense of humour."



"Before you know it she'll be throwing herself at you, trust me."



"And watch for the signals, when the time's right you'll know it, that's when you plant that first kiss."



"Just a small one mind you, then when you have her eating out of your hand you can make your move."



"Worked like a charm on your grandmother, still does actually."



"Oh Grace it finally happened, Stone and Nadia kissed!"



"Oh god this means we have a wedding to plan and I'll have to make a cake and then there's the dress to sort out and....."

"Woah calm down Grace it was just a kiss, lets not get too carried away just yet."



Secretly though I hope she's right.

I have been tried to leave my Sims alone without being watched, just want to make the control freak inside me loosen up and then what I see? One of my Sim was in a date with her husband, then she flirting over other man in front of her children! She didn't even had flirty traits!

Bye, Puzzle. That was not appropriate thing you did to Stone

It's give a better chance to attract more immigrants if our Sim work in Daycare profession? Better there will be no trouble in the future, Stone and Nadia still have problem that not solved with Puzzle :/
