Hey everyone, I've seen some great homes here and I've decided to request my own.
I would like to request a steampunk manor. If you don't know what steampunk is here's a link that'll explain it: http://www.steampunk.com/what-is-steampunk/
I would prefere it to be on a 60x60 lot, and the manor itself to look like a Victorian manor. If possible, I would like a a garden that would fit the timline, and prehapes a stable. If anyone is intresed, plese PM me for deatais.

I'd like to try, as long as you don't mind waiting until this weekend.  I don't get much playing time on weekdays.

Hey all,

I'd like to request a fairly decent sized house(3-4 bedrooms, one in a guest house near a pool?), that is two floors, and maybe a basement(I currently only have the basegame, so that would have t be done by hand, and is very optional). I'd like to have a kitchen, dining room, sitting room, foyer, and bathroom on the first floor. I would like to have the second floor have a master bedroom(with an attached bathroom) and possible one more bedroom. I would also like to have a living/tv room, game room, and balcony upstairs. I'd like to have a decent sized pool, as well as a garage. A guest house that connected to the garage would be fine with me, and all it would need would be a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and exercise room.

If anyone would like to oblige I would appreciate it (:

I could take you up on this. Would you mind if it was more a modern style? ( Examples )

EDIT; Sorry, I can't any more. I noticed the

I currently only have the basegame

And, well, I know I couldn't do it. Once I've used the expansions, I can't stop. :P

Also, feel free to request a home by PMing me! Always happy to help.

Hey guys I'm taking an extended hiatus... again. I'm out of ideas to build houses and I don't have as much fun designing homes like I used to; it feels more like a chore. So that's where I'll be, I will probably be back sometime. :P

I was playing my copy of The Sims FreePlay, and I had an interesting idea. I thought,"Maybe I could construct a copy of the first house in FreePlay in The Sims 3!"

There is one problem, however. I'm terrible at building. (Not quite terrible, but all my houses end up boxy and bland.)

So, maybe some of you who have played FreePlay could help me with the building? For example, suggesting what types of furniture I should use (I have all the expansion packs), and how big I should make the house, and what lot size I should put it on? (Since I'm going to be resizing it from the iPhone to the PC). It would be nice to have some help with this.

I don't want someone to do this for me, but it would be nice to have some help.

Here's the order I've decided to "figure things out" in.

1. Lot Size (FreePlay lot is 18 by 18 squares)
2. Resizing House
3. Choosing Furniture (I'm going to have to add a couple of things, e.g. a toilet and stove, because they aren't in the house at first)

Since this is the starter house in FreePlay, I'd like to make it inexpensive. (Sorry if this is a bit much)

Update: I've been doing some looking at the lot, and it seems that it doesn't go all the way to the street. So the lot will have to be longer (up to down) than it is wide (left to right).

Free play is the new sims thing for iOS devices and android. Lots of memory is needed to download it. You might be best mentioning this on the Building and Construction Requests thread.

Edit: I meant FreePlay, not Freetime. I always get those mixed up.

I'll merge this thread with the requests thread.  :)

What's freeplay?

There was a thread on it here but it hasn't been posted in for a while, I think most of it was posted before the actual release but there should be information about it there.

I'm a decent builder, but I find myself bored with my own houses fairly quickly, so I am looking to see if someone else would be willing to take on the task of building a home for my Sims.

The family at current
2 Parents
1 Toddler
All female

What I'm looking for
A 2 level home; basement/attic optional
2 Car Garage
4 Bedrooms - 3 Kids, 1 Master
2 Full Bathrooms upstairs, 1 half bathroom downstairs
Laundry room
Spacious backyard for children to play
Grilling area outback
Swimming pool
Dining room separate from kitchen
Living room and a study
One parent is a writer/painter so appropriate items appreciated
No CC or Store Content please

I have ALL the stuff packs and expansion packs to date; including the 70's 80's 90's stuff. If interested let me know. It's a pretty simple request, but feel free to make the house as big or small as you want. Just let me know the lot size so I can place it accordingly.

Dextra, your house is ready!

It's here.

I tried, I really did.  Steampunk is hard to do in The Sims!  I hope you enjoy it, regardless.  I certainly enjoyed building it!

2 questions:
Do you have a particular style you like (modern, traditional etc.)?
Do you have any color preferences?
