Thanks very much, ladylaw.  Yeah, it's been a long haul to get this far - I'm just crossing my fingers that no game breakers happen between now and the end.  There have been no meteors yet in this game (touch wood) and I sure hope it stays that way.  I admire all the people who have restarted their Dynasty after some disaster or another, but I don't think I could bear to start over after coming this far.

For some reason, every time Mojo ages up he takes on this hairdo:

Doesn’t he know how silly it looks?  He looks like he got caught in a wind tunnel.  No way I’m letting him go around looking like that.

I just let my Sims choose whatever hairstyle they want. But I guess I can understand why you would change Mojo's hair.

First, I really like how you developed Radar's character, and how mysticism is incorporate in story. For a sec I thought that Immortals influenced Radar to lie to Mojo, but based on his developed character I would say he didn't lied to his brother. Or maybe he did, for higher purpose?

Radar didn't lie.  And the eerie thing is, he really is like that - he loves to meditate.  Even though he and Mojo have almost the same traits, they are really quite different; the differences you are beginning to see between them in the story, with Radar thoughtful and mystical and Mojo the man of action, more worldly - that's real, not made up.  Anyway, Radar does anticipate a future in which he and Mojo will be together again.  We shall have to wait and see if he's right about that.  ;)

I always appreciate your comments.

The Toddler Times
- The Magazine that Showcases the Cutest Toddlers in Sunset Valley

This Month’s Featured Model:  Millie Douglas

Here we see Millie with her great-great - well, an old man who is somehow related to her.  You can see where Millie gets her red hair!

“Millie, when you grow up, men will bring you flowers.”  Well, only if Sim men learn to do that in the meantime.

Chilly, Millie?

Millie dressed in formal attire after having her portrait painted.

Millie’s first car ride.

A quiet moment at the library.

Millie with her father.  Purple pinstripes?  Let’s hope Millie hasn’t inherited Daddy’s fashion sense!

Camille isn’t as young as she might be - she’s only 7 days away from her Elder birthday.

Argh! I hate that! I had married a French explorer in one legacy attempt that was never published and she was five days from elderhood, so I had to make her have twins for her only pregnancy. *headdesk* Why does Maxis do this to us?

Anyways, great story so far.

We need an "ask sim's age" social!   :D  Actually, in this case, it's probably a good thing that Camille is as old as she is.  With all the crucial Dynasty tasks - cooking, fishing, painting, sculpting, photography - assigned to Immortals at this stage, Camille's only real function is to bring Gen 6 into the world.  Her advanced age means I won't have to wait as long for Gen 7.  But it's sad that she likely won't be able to achieve her LTW.  She has the nicest personality of all the spouses I've had, and I would have liked to have her around longer.

This immortals dynasty is a cruel, cruel thing. We use and abuse them for our own gain 8)

But I feel you. It's rather sad when a sims gets close to dying after pumping out cash and requirements, isn't it.

Mili is such a cute little girl. Did she got "chill" moodlet from ice toy box?
And it is great that Camille turned out to be pretty old, but we do need that "how old are you" social interaction!

What I did on my summer holidays” - School Assignment by Millie Douglas

I went for a drive with my Daddy and Uncle Radar.  We went in Uncle Radar’s car.  It’s really fast.

We went to Barnickel - Barny - the town where the pirates live.  Daddy said we should stop at the car store where he and Uncle Radar bought their first car.  Daddy said he wanted to give the store owner a piece of his mind.  I thought it was nice that he wanted to give the store owner a present.  Uncle Radar said, no way.

We stopped in a park.

Some butterflies came over to Uncle Radar.  They seemed to like him.  They sat on his hand and then flew away.

We went to visit my grandma.  Her name is Jenna.

She is dead and that means she lives underground like in a basement.  She must like it there because Daddy said she hardly ever comes out, just sometimes at night and that’s past my bedtime.   I wonder why dead people like to live in the basement.  She used to have red hair like me before she got old.

We played sim gnubb and I won.

That’s what I did on my holidays.

Teacher’s notes:  Millie, you must learn to look up information you don‘t know.  If you look in Carl’s Sims 3 Guide and Encyclopedia, you will see the correct spelling of the pirate town:  Barnacle Bay.  Your paper receives a grade of B.

Looking back at that story, I see the pictures of Millie are mostly rear shots.  I wasn't deliberately hiding her face - it's just how the pictures were taken.  She's actually quite pretty, as you can see here:
