Camille has several good skill-related traits, so I naturally assume her LTW will relate to one of those traits. With just 7 days to go until she becomes an elder, it may not be possible to complete her LTW, but I’m going to try. Then she joins the family and I learn that her LTW is to reach the top of the Journalism career. Journalism? With traits of Athletic, Virtuoso, Green Thumb, Friendly and Loner? Puzzled as to how she could have come up with that LTW, I check Carl’s guide and find that it must have been her Friendly trait. I do think the Sports or Music career would have been easier for her. Oh, well. The morning after the wedding in the bathroom, she gets a job as a paper boy and is immediately put on maternity leave. I figure she can use the time to work on her writing skill, as she has no skills at all. As a loner, she is happiest when she’s alone, so I build a small writing room and send her off to it.
Three days later, Mojo gets his wish to have a daughter:
Meet Millie, Generation 6. Birthdate Week 26, Day 2. Traits so far: Friendly and Good. Here we have Generation 1 and Generation 6:
I am at odds with the Sims about where Millie should spend her time. I want her in the living room except when she’s sleeping. Here she is lying on the living room floor:
In the living room she can benefit from the music, incense, and the good fridge moodlets. I figure she can accumulate a couple thousand happiness points by the time she ages up to Toddler. But the sims keep trying to put her in her crib, away from all the sources of positive moodlets. I have to constantly watch them and stop them from putting her to bed. It looks a bit odd - well, it looks neglectful - to leave a baby lying on the floor, but why not, if she’s happier there?
