I was just thinking, since your dynasty were named after your dogs, could they (I'm just imagining here) somehow became your dogs. (told you I was just imagining)

Interesting idea, YZJay.  Someone else suggested a photoshopped picture of the Clan morphing into my dogs, but I'm not smart enough to have any clue how to do that.  But Pets will be out soon, and I understand we will actually be able to control the pets, not like the pets in Sims2, so that raises a lot of possibilities.  A multi-generational Schipperke dynasty?  Who knows!  Anyway, thanks for the comment.

Also Schipperke, with the new expansion, you can also play as your animals instead of sims and see it through the animals eyes, so you might be able to come up with something.  You have such an awesome imagination.

Thanks, Chronic.  I have to admit, the news that we'll be able to control the animals in Pets interests me strangely.  Depending on how it actually works, I could certainly visualize a doggie dynasty.  Headed by a schipperke, of course!

About 3 posts above me (namely, the one at the top of the page), you mentioned visualising a doggy dynasty. Now that Pets is out, could you possibly start another Dynasty with a Schip at every Generation? (Like, your founder is James. James adopts a little Schipperke to be his Generation in the Doggy Dynasty. James becomes immortal, while James dies.)

Thanks for reminding me of this, Seabody and Sportsfan.  You're right - it's time to start thinking about this idea.  I don't think I'll ever do another Immortal Dynasty.  I gave up on the second one I started because it wasn't holding my interest and because I couldn't face the excruciatingly long load times I had in this game near the end.  But I could definitely see some sort of story centring around dog breeding.  I've never played a legacy so maybe what I should do is look up the rules and think about how they might be adapted.  Yeah, that could be fun and give me something to keep me busy this winter.

Yes, a Dynasty is definitely a long-term project.  But it's very rewarding too.  If you do decide to start a dynasty, you'll find a lot of support and encouragement from other players in the forum.
