I found this story while looking at your stories link. I opened it and started reading it. I totally enjoy the 5 hours I take in reading this story. Really, it was an enjoyable read.
P.S. I think my comment has revived(brought back) the story topic.

Wow, it's been quite a while since anyone posted in this story!  I think you're right, Chetan - you definitely brought the Clan back from oblivion.  Thanks very much for the comment.  I'm glad you enjoyed the story and I have to compliment you on your endurance in spending 5 hours on it!  :D

I just read through this in a marathon two days, it was very enjoyable.
I was curious if you had into the future, and if a possible squeal involving that expansion had crossed your mind?  Assuming they went to the future, of course.  I see them in the Dystopian future, with the meteors that decimated SV.

Apologies if it's strange having another comment after so much time has passed.

Sone, it's always nice to have someone read the story & post a comment, so please don't apologize!  I'm very glad you enjoyed it.

I like your idea about a sequel, but with Sims 4 coming out in a short time, I don't think I'll be doing any more Sims 3 stories.  However, there was a sort of sequel, not involving the Clan, but set in the post-disaster Sunset Valley which had subsequently been taken over by evil.  Which sounds a lot like what you're suggesting.  I'm referring to my story "Mission Highly Unlikely," which you can find in the Completed Miscellaneous Stories board.

Thanks again for reading and for your comment.

I had read Nameless's Mission Hihgly Unlikely, and found myself wanting to read more. I've only ever read one sim story before, so I was surprised to find how intriguing they could be.

Thank you for writing such a great story, with endearing characters and interesting twists to the plot. I hope I will be able to muster up the courage/energy to actually write a story myself. I just find myself living my sims lives, and not really capturing any of it. Great inspiration to be found here.
I wake up every day planning to be productive, but a voice in my head says 'hahaha good one' and we laugh and laugh and take a nap.

A somewhat belated welcome to the forum, Kathykins.  Yes, our little Sims have indeed inspired many great stories here in the forum.  This was the first story I ever wrote, and I was surprised how much I became caught up in it.  Thank you very much for your comment, and I look forward to seeing your story when you're ready to begin!
