“Moth Grows Up and Gains a Lot of Happiness”The childhood days have flown by. Moth is ready to grow up. The family gathers round to cheer and clap.
Moth’s new trait is Lucky, and it seems to be working for him already. He chooses the Living in the Lap of Luxury LTW, which requires a gain of $100,000 in household net worth (the household net worth has to reach $13,723,000). I figure he can go collect the rents that have been accumulating and that should put him over the top. But as soon as I select that LTW for him, the message comes up that he has already completed it! I have no idea how that happened, but he was able to get several nice LTRs with his happiness points.
Moth is proud to don his new kilt, the garment of many generations of brave warriors before him. The last of the Douglases brings his own inimitable style to the kilt. This boy will play a very important role in the last days of the dynasty. Impressive, isn’t he?
Here he is waiting in line for his slice of cake. If you look at the expression on Wimsey and Christie’s faces, I don’t think they’re very impressed with Moth’s outfit.
After the party, he goes on line to make his real estate purchases. His choices: The consignment shop and the Science facility.
He and James go over to the Science building to tour their new property.
James: Well? What do you think?
Moth: Their facilities look pretty good to me.
James: You know, you won’t be starting as a researcher right away. You’ll have to start at the bottom. But you’re smart, it won’t take you long to work your way up.
Moth: I can do it.
James: Oh, I know you can, lad. Just remember - we’re all counting on you. The others don’t know it yet, but the future of our dynasty may depend on you. So you work hard, and be sure to keep me updated - I want to know all about what you’re doing.
Moth: You got it.
