 1. Fantastic! I love how you create Cindy, she is gorgeous! Especially when you look into her lips. Well, this is indeed reminding me of my favorite Disney movies that I loved. I love how you recreate this story with your own way, it's still like Cinderella but more in The Sims way :D

My favourites are Beauty and The Beast and Sleeping Beauty <3

1.1
Of course, sometimes love can make people blind. I'm very disappointed with Cindy Dad. I'm glad at least Cindy found Bruno. Hope that she will be happier in the next chapter :)

1.2
*big sigh* It's cruel to treat Cindy like a housemaid. How can his father aware all of this >:(
I love to see one of the sisters looks evil in one screenshot while clapping hand!
*big sigh again* How can you more trust stranger over your own daughter, Cindy Dad?  >:(

1.3 How interesting to see that one of their sister on Cindy side but that still too suspicious...
Fairy Godmother it's could be her own mother? All this time her mother who always guides her.

1.4 Stunning! You even can make an Elder become like someone else. I hope that Anastacia will genuine help her. I don't like betrayal.

I remember there is an indie-game that called Cinders, it’s like choose your own story game and the story is all about Cinderella. What I really loved from that game is you can see each other’s perspective and even be friends with all of them  :3

Looking forward for the next chapters!;D

Thanks for all the feedback guys! This was the point where I started watching the films as I played and trying to get the Sims more accurate (explaining Regina's makeover and Cindy's hair :D) I'm glad you all like it so far :) Now for the next part!

Cinderella 1.2: Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo

I pretended everything was normal. But I would wait for my chance... my chance to get out of here and do something with my life.

At least I still had Bruno by my side. He was going to help put up with that horrible woman.

I carried on with my chores as usual.

Drizella still treated me as if I was invisible.

And Regina still lorded over me like a greedy baron.

She even kicked me out of my beautifully decorated bedroom that I'd had ever since I was little, and into what used to be the maid's quarters.

Luckily I was able to keep some of my furniture. It stood out so much against the dull browns of the wooden room.

And I was allowed to bring Gus and Jack with me. Probably because Regina was terrified of rodents.

Lucifer however, loved them. I had to rescue them from his mangy paws at least a couple of times a week. I don't know how they kept escaping their cage!

My father's ghost would sometimes drift about the house. I think he finally realised what Regina was really like.

I hadn't really seen my mum much lately. I hoped she was okay. At least now she and my dad could be together again.

Regina phoned up and quit her job. She didn't need to work now she could live on my father's money.

Drizella would become the main breadwinner. She didn't mind, she lived for her job.

I just kept on doing my duties, waiting for my chance. I just knew something would happen soon that I would be able to use to my advantage. My mother would make sure of it.

I had fun with my chores, flipping pancakes and singing songs to myself as I cooked.

"Sing, sweet nightingale, sing sweet nightingale..." it was a lullaby my mother had taught me.

Even though Regina didn't approve.

"Shut up with that dreadful singing Cinderella. You're making my ears hurt."

Ha. She could talk. I'd heard her trying to teach Drizella and Anastacia to sing.

Bruno weirdly took a liking to Anastacia, and he was usually a good judge of character. Maybe that meant I could trust her after all?

She was doing pretty well in the fashion design industry, making a name for herself and getting more clients every day. I had to admit, she was pretty good at her job. She was out of the house a lot, probably to avoid Regina. I'd noticed those two had quite a dysfunctional relationship.

Unfortunately, that meant Regina and I were the only ones home a lot of the time. All the more reason for Regina to sit around and bark orders at me.

I bought some little singing birds for the birdcage. I thought they might brighten the house up with their song.

All in all, things were settling into a pretty dull routine in the Disney/Tremaine household.

Until one day...

At the end of a long day, after I had completed all my duties, I went to the mailbox and found a very fancy-looking invitation. It was addressed to "all eligible ladies in the Tremaine household". Well, as much as Regina would hate to admit it, that included me! Hesitantly, I opened it.

"You are invited to attend a formal ball at the Landgrabb manor. Every eligible maiden is invited to attend."

This was perfect! This was my chance. If I was honest with myself, I didn't care about keeping my house any more. Every link and memory I'd ever connected to in that place was gone. All I cared about was escaping that horrible place, and keeping my parents safe with me. I wanted to protect their spirits. And if I went to that ball, and talked to Malcolm... maybe he could help me.

The next day, I decided to bring it up to Regina.

"Regina, we received an invitation to a ball at the Landgrabb's manor yesterday. Drizella, Anastacia and I are all invited."

"Do you have the letter?"

I handed it to her.

"Hmm.. all eligible maidens are to attend, it says. What a pity. I wish you could come Cinderella, but... you simply have nothing to wear."

"Oh please! What if I could make something?"

Yes! She'd reacted exactly the way I thought she would.

"You... sew? Don't be ridiculous Cinderella! You don't have enough time. Remember, you need to complete all your chores."

"Yes, Regina. But... what if I could make something? And I completed all my duties?"

"In that case, of course you could go." she said with a wry grin.

Ha. She thought she'd hidden or destroyed all my clothes. But I had an ace up my sleeve, and with Anastacia's help, what could go wrong?

I sent back the invitations that evening, stating that Regina, Drizella and Anastacia Tremaine would be attending. Oh, and let's not forget... Cinderella Disney. Finally, everything was going to change!

Anastacia and Drizella destroyed Cinderlla's dress in the story....This does not bode well.

Regina is looking very stately and sour at the same time, she makes my skin crawl. I want to see Cinderella's dress, you always have her wear something beautiful =D

Hi guys, I'm really sorry, I've been busy over the last couple of weeks but I'll try to get back on track now. Now, to answer some of your earlier comments:

This is amazing! I grew up watching Disney cartoons so I'm so so much into this, I can't wait for more!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! Me too, I'm a huge fan of Disney and have all the collections so I couldn't believe it when I found the Disney legacy thread! People do their own versions but they mix up all the characters and names together whereas I wanted to keep them as definitive stories.

Cinderella always has this serene look on her face that I just love.

She really does! Maybe it's because she has the 'good' and 'friendly' traits but I just thought it really suited her because the original Cinderella stays cheerful and happy no matter what! But I wanted my Cindy to be a bit more edgy as well :P

Amazing! I love the story, screenshots and the sims! Beautiful <3

Thank you so much! I'm happy you're enjoying it so far.

Jeez, Regina is scary. I never knew a sim could look so sinister!

I hope (or rather, I can't wait for) Cindy to rise up above all of this madness! I mean, Regina's gotta die eventually doesn't she? I love your story telling, Pix, you are a natural at this. Keep up the great work and I can't wait for an update.

She really is! I've never had an evil sim before so I was delighted when she started glowing red... I thought it SO suited her character! As the rest, hmm, I couldn't possibly say :P

1. Fantastic! I love how you create Cindy, she is gorgeous! Especially when you look into her lips. Well, this is indeed reminding me of my favorite Disney movies that I loved. I love how you recreate this story with your own way, it's still like Cinderella but more in The Sims way :D

Thank you! Sleeping Beauty is coming soon, and my favourite is Beauty and the Beast so I will pay special attention to that one! I've played that game Cinders, I really enjoyed it and that it put it's own twist on the characters! Yes I tried to get all the endings and be friends with the stepsister and stepmother, it was very different! Haha. Nice theories, but I will leave it as a surprise for now!

Anastacia and Drizella destroyed Cinderlla's dress in the story....This does not bode well.

Indeed! Hopefully Anastacia won't be as mean this time!

Regina is looking very stately and sour at the same time, she makes my skin crawl. I want to see Cinderella's dress, you always have her wear something beautiful =D

Haha yeah, she turned out really well. When I gave her the makeover to make her look like the character in Disney's version I didn't even need to change her face shape, I was like **, she creepy!

I'm excited to see what will happen next... Well, in your way of story telling :)
Looking at those screenshots never ceased to amazed me. Beautiful ;D

Aw thank you! I try to keep everything looking nice and portraying the story as clearly as possible. Cinderella overall stays pleasant and kind throughout the whole thing so I try to keep a dreamlike quality to the pictures, though the story is far from idyllic!

Thanks so much for the feedback, and I will update the next chapter soon!

Well, I was looking forward to it so much that the time simply seemed to race by until the ball! I had everything ready.

Anastacia had helped me sew a dress, and I had done all of my chores for that day so there was simply no excuse for Regina not to let me go! I might not have looked grand enough for a ball, but at least it was better than my maids apron.

But as soon as I walked into the foyer to meet Anastacia, Drizella and Regina as planned, I knew something was wrong.

"What on earth does she look like?" Drizella sneered. "We're going to a ball, Cinderella, not a brothel."

Regina said mockingly, "Cinderella, when I told you to dress yourself, I thought you could at least manage to do so appropriately. You cannot turn up to the ball like that, child."

No. They could not do this to me. Regina had never been planning on letting me go at all. She knew I had nothing else. She had destroyed all my other clothes. This was all I had.

I could feel tears of resentment and frustration building up in my eyes.

"I don't have anything else, Regina. You know that."

I turned pleadingly to Anastacia.

"Please, Anastacia. Tell them. Tell them you helped me make this!"

"Anastacia... you did this? I thought you were supposed to be a fashion designer!" Drizella smirked.

"Surely you're mistaken, Cinderella. If Anastacia had made something as tacky and distasteful as this, I simply wouldn't let her attend the ball either. And I'd suggest she find a new career, perhaps something more... suited to her intellect. For her own benefit, you understand."

She gave Anastacia a sideways glance loaded with meaning.

Anastacia was caught on the crossfire. This was time to see where her loyalties truly lie.

"Ugh. Like I would go anywhere near that mess! No, I agree with you mother. There's no way you can let her out of the house like that. We have to protect our reputation."

"Well then it's settled. You simply cannot go, Cinderella. I expect the house to be spotless when we return."

And with that, they paraded out the door. Anastacia avoided eye contact with me.

I stormed back to my room. How dare they! Those witches. Anastacia had completely stabbed me in the back. Although I understood she had been forced into it by Regina, right now I was too angry to be rational.

I needed my mother now more than ever. Feeling like an idiot, I said, aloud: "Mum. I need you. Please, I need a dress and a way to get to the ball."

I closed my eyes and exhaled. This was never going to work. I was doomed. Stuck here forever.

And then I felt it. As I rubbed my neck, I noticed my necklace had changed. And now that I thought about it, my dress felt heavier. I looked down. I was wearing my old favourite dress! The one I thought Regina had destroyed! And my gloves, and my best glass slippers! And I knew, just knew, it was my mum's doing.

"Thank you!" I whispered excitedly.

Who needs a fairy godmother when you have your mum watching over you from the afterlife?

Right. Now I just needed a way to get there.

I went outside and just paced the ground, thinking of what I could do. I had no money and no friends to call in favours from.

Finally, I had an idea - I could call Malcolm and ask him to send a taxi for me! I had just pulled out my phone when it rang by itself.

"Hello?" I said cautiously.

No one ever called me.

"Hello, Miss Disney? We have a car waiting outside for you."

"Erm... who sent it?"

"It's anonymous, Miss. But don't worry, it's all paid for. To the Landgrabb residence, yes?"

I beamed with relief. Mum strikes again!

"Yes, that's right. Thank you, I'm on my way."

And a short ride later, in one of the fanciest cars I'd ever been in, I was at Malcolm's house. I was so nervous. Not only would I have to face Regina, Drizella and Anastacia, but the whole reason I was here was to talk to Malcolm and ask him for help escaping them. I knew it was a long shot but if he could just loan me some money to get my own house, I could get my old job back and pay him back all the money. He was my only hope.

I wasn't sure what to do so I just followed the music straight into the ballroom. Malcolm was there, the only male in the room, sitting alone on some sort of posh chair and looking bored out of his mind.

He stood up when he saw me come in.

"Cinderella! I'm so glad you could make it. I almost thought you weren't going to come."

"I almost thought I wasn't too! It's a long story. But I'm just glad I'm here now."

"Me too. I was so bored." he whispered. "My dad's making me throw this stupid ball because he wants me to get a girlfriend. But everyone here is... well, not my type."

I stifled a giggle. As we talked, Drizella and Anastacia were shooting daggers at me.

"Wow, how very bourgeois of your dad." I grinned.

He laughed. "I know."

As we looked into each other's eyes, it was like the rest of the room faded away until I almost couldn't see or hear them anymore. All that mattered was me and him.

And suddenly, I didn't want to ruin the one good thing I had left. I didn't want to destroy our newly-fledged friendship by begging him for money. I just wanted to enjoy this one last night of freedom as much as a possibly could, because it would be worth so much more to me this way.

We spent the whole night together. Talking, laughing, dancing. I felt bad for his other guests who we were basically completely ignoring, but it just felt like there was so much to say and do that they couldn't get a word in edgeways. We were tripping over our words excitedly to tell each other stories about our lives (me leaving out the last year of course), both of us trying to outdo each other with tales of our childhoods, injuries, most embarrassing moments, whatever came up really. I completely forgot about my situation, and through talking about my mother and father, it almost brought them back to life for a few hours.

We even ate dinner together, sharing our favourite meals and recipes, talking about restaurants and cafes we loved. I was surprised and delighted to find out that he loved the cafe where I used to work.

At some point in the night, he impulsively pulled me in for a hug. I don't think my heart had ever beaten so fast.

"So this is love..." I thought to myself. I finally understood what all the fuss was about. Well, I couldn't help it. I was a hopeless romantic after all.

---

The ball scene! Hope you guys like it, I tried to keep it as close and realistic as possible (for taking place in the Sims universe :D) And well done Eldridge, you guessed right about the fairy godmother!

Ahhhh! This update was well worth the wait, Pix! But BOOOO ANASTACIA! I knew it. I KNEW that woman couldn't be trusted. I called it from the beginning! That party looked great, though I couldn't help but notice the girl behind Malcom (In the screencap after he said 'I know' who was in a halter top and jeans. I though 'Oops. Someone's breaking the dress code.'

I NEED to know where you got Malcom's top though! He looks exactly like the prince. I think I have/know where Cindy's dress is though. I apologize, I'm a bit of a CC maniac.

Aw, thank you! I really am so glad people are enjoying it :D I've been playing just for me and taking screenshots as I went but it's nice that people are actually reading it now except me! haha.

Just fantastic - the scenery, Cindy's dress and even Malcolm. I can't wait to read the next chapter already!

D'aww thanks! Haha poor Malcolm, everyone thinks he's such a schmuck :D But he actually cleans up pretty well!

Thanks Mizzilee! I was excited to update 'cause I knew it was a good one! (As in, lots of stuff happens, not trying to blow my own trumpet haha). Well I mean, some skanks in Sunset Valley just can't take a hint! xD Haha but seriously, I set it up as a formal party and some of the townies just showed up in the weirdest stuff and this was before I was using Nraas mods so I couldn't even change it! I mostly tried to edit them out haha. Malcolm's top is from here, I was so excited when I found it as it was so similar! Haha yes I believe Cindy's dress is from MTS and is called Jasmine bridal gown, I feel like it's quite a popular one but it looks so similar to Cinderella's I just had to use it! Thanks for your feedback I really appreciate it!

Bahaha. No, I know how that is. Try having people show up to a wedding in formalwear and switch into swimsuits  ::) Nraas saves my life on a regular basis, but it's been acting kinda funky lately. May need to reinstall.

Yup! That's exactly the dress I thought it was. I have that. As for the top, thank you very much! You will be seeing that at some point in my story (which isn't as good as this piece of amazing literary fiction but whatever).

At around midnight, I kissed him. It was the best moment of my life so far.

I was the happiest girl in the world.

Unfortunately not everyone was as happy as me.

Drizella, in a fit of childish jealousy, kicked the Landgrabb's bin over. Very mature of her, I thought.

I went outside for some fresh air, and Goldie, my bird from home, landed on my arm out of nowhere. I couldn't help but feel it was a message from my mother.

"Thank you." I whispered, in case anybody was nearby. She hopped off and flew away.

I must not have done it quietly enough, because Drizella approached me from whatever dark corner she'd crawled out of.

"Who were you just talking to?"

I rolled my eyes. "No one, Drizella. Not that it's any of your business."

She pointed a finger at me.

"Whatever you say, Cindy." she spat out my name like it was poison. "Look, I don't know where you stole that dress from, but you'd better give it back before I call the authorities."

"I didn't steal anything. It's mine."

"Liar! You don't own anything anymore. Do you?"

I gritted my teeth. Why did she have to ruin everything? Rage ripped through me like a hurricane, and I couldn't help it. I exploded.

"JUST GET OUT! Just leave. I don't have to talk to you. Run home and cry to 'mummy', why don't you?!"

She opened her mouth like she was going to retort, but promptly shut it when she saw Malcolm approaching.

I closed my eyes, leaned my head back against the cool marble of the pillar and sighed.

"What's wrong?"

When I opened them again, Malcolm was standing in front of me.

"Nothing. Just... family problems." I smiled sadly. "I think I might have to go soon."

"Okay. Just stay for a little bit longer. Let's do some stargazing!"

"Okay."

We sat down right there in the grass and looked up at the sky.

"Um, Malcolm... I don't know what any of these constellations are."

"Me neither. Let's make them up!"

I grinned. He had a way of making everything fun.

He pointed up at some random cluster of stars. "Look there, that's uh... the great sink of Thespia!"

"That's not even a thing."

"Is too."

"See there, that one, that's the omelette of destiny."

"Now you're getting it!"

I couldn't help but relax. This was fun. And everything was going to be fine.

I tried to ignore the time for as long as we could, but eventually, I had to stop. Malcolm had work. And I had... Regina.

I didn't even realise, but the sun was already rising. I didn't want to go home.

Malcolm leant over to whisper in my ear. "You know, I was dreading this ball thing. But I'm really glad it happened now, because I got to know you, Cinderella."

"Call me Cindy." I whispered back.

He touched my face. "Do you really have to leave?"

"At some point." I laughed.

I pulled him in for one final embrace. I'd have to make this one last, since Regina would make certain I'd never be allowed to see him again.

"I... think I love you, Cindy."

"I know the feeling." I sighed.

And with that, I moved away.

It was time to go back to a life of slavery. At least I'd have the memories of this night to see me through.

Before I could even pick up the phone, the very same cab from earlier pulled up to take me away. And I was halfway home before I realised I was missing a shoe.

- Several days later -

Well, I was being punished. Severely. My chores had tripled once Regina had found out about what I'd done, and I was never allowed out of the house again. But I didn't care, it was worth it for that one night of perfect happiness.

I'd tried to sneak back to bed that night after I came back, but Regina was waiting up for me, with an evil grin. No doubt Drizella and Anastacia had gone parroting everything back to her.

I was taking out the rubbish one day, reliving the night once again in my head and going through every single word of my conversations with Malcolm (as had become my habit to escape the prison of Regina's tyranny), when I heard the doorbell ring.

It was him.

Before I could even think about it, I ran inside so I didn't have to talk to him.  What should I do? He thought I was some wealthy foreign visitor! If he saw me in my servant's rags... well then he'd know the truth. That I was just some poor little maid.

"Well well, Malcolm Landgrabb! To what do we owe this pleasure?"

"I'm here to see Cinderella."

"Oh, you mean Cindy? The maid?" she smirked.

Crap. I could hear their voices; Regina's cold and cutting, and Malcolm's confidence turning into confusion.

"She's a maid?"
