Thanks twinmum. I'm in love with the grass look - I'll have to go and copy the pattern when I can.

I love the bots...

This is Fertess again. Poor thing, she cries whenever she has to dispose of a dead plant!

I've since equipped both Fert and Fertess with the Capacity to Love trait. They had a private rooftop wedding in their garden

After picking and choosing from quite a few screenshots, these were the best ones.

First, my sim on the right is the orginal sim.  Teen in middle and young adult on left, is her descendents, which I think look alot like my sim.

This I found kind of funny, futures idea of fireman and firetruck.  On thing I noticed, when the fire broke out, two of the sims had their arms over their head and ran out the door.  I guess that is new with this EP.  Better than them standing around and maybe getting burned up.

Utopia at night and daytime, love the rainbow.  Also found a rainbow beetle here, worth over $1000.

Love these body massage's, so do the sims from the looks of it.

I wasn't too crazy about Dystopia, but I was curious, so I had to try it.  Meteor's, trash, it was a mess.  Had a nanite eat the trash, but it came right back.

Water is really brown, but I guess that was expected.

Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

Plumbot robber!

I forgot to buy an alarm, so guess who got robbed? When I went to look, this is the robber. Guess plumbots with the evil trait have to do something lol

They even sneak like the regular robbers!

What was weird though, I could select it and adjust the trait chips! I got the notification from the police that the robber got away, but it was still standing in my lounge room waiting for me to adjust it's chips. It only had the  one (evil trait) so I took it. Figure selling it would go toward my new toilet and sink to replace what it stole lol

My Sim activating the portal

Meeting Emit

Normal Future

Utopian Future

Shaking a giant flower

Jetpack fun!

And the Dip Kiss interaction which I love

From the moment I fell down that rabbit hole I've been told what I must do and who I must be. I've been shrunk, stretched, scratched and stuffed into a teapot. I've been accused of being Alice, and of not being Alice, but this is my dream. I'll decide where it goes from here.

Lovely pictures everybody, still waiting on my copy to arrive and these are making the wait even harder, I really want to try it for myself now.

Is it normal for plumbots with legs to have the hoverbot effect as well? it looks a bit bizarre  ???

Turoskel, it's not so much "normal" as "not unusual" with them. The hoverbot thing you see at the bottom of the torso is part of the torso options, the legs are a separate option. So it's definitely an option to see around, but yeah, it looks funny. ;D

For some reason romantic interactions between plumbots crack me up. So I had to make a picture/joke about it.

More Utopian Future  - Jetpack fun!

Wow, what a beautiful yellow sky!

My sim was thrown with orange dew, the liquid that comes out the giant flowers when you shake them!

Woohoo in Bot Building Station.

This is how the limo looks like in the future!

I'm absolutely loving this expansion pack. I've had some funny moments while playing with it too. My current sim matriarch, Fae Rosewing, started streaking one day (an action that comes with University Life) at Varg's Tavern. This was no ordinary streak though because I had enabled her to use the hoverboard (I think it's called Windsurfer) instead of walking. When she streaked, she did so while riding her hoverboard. I got a real kick out of that.  :D

Streaking is not the only weird thing a sim can do on a hoverboard. Fae was arrested for her hijinks and rode her hoverboard all the way to the cop car, while handcuffed. I had seen arrested sims use umbrellas while handcuffed, which was pretty funny, but this one I thought was hilarious.

Another funny/cool thing in Into the Future is the ability to interact with holographic images of your friends. In Fae's case, she was able to give flowers to and even kiss her romantic interest who lives in the present-day, while she was visiting the future. Her plumbot, Wall-E, made this possible with his holographic trait chip.

I love the giant flowers in the Utopian future. You can collect dew from them that your sim can either drink (something that causes fun little effects, similar to the Jelly Bean Bush from Supernatural) or throw them at other sims. I think the flowers are beautiful, I wish I could bring them back to the present.

Here is another picture from the Utopian future. There are little rainbows in this version of the future, that have valuables at their base, even pots of gold (like the old saying goes).

This is another example of the fun that can come from creating a bot with a holographic trait chip. It's a holographic pillow fight with Emit Relevart. (note the pot of gold that Fae found at the end of a rainbow that's on the table)

For the next couple of images, I wanted to show how useful the bots can be. I made a female bot, Eva, who is my Robonanny. She is sentient too, so she is capable of displaying emotions. She has been so much help in raising Fae's 4 children. The other bot, a male named Wall-E, has not been given the gift of sentience yet, but you can easily see that he's got potential. He's mostly the gardener, repairman, and cleaner of the house, but he also helps with the kids and pets. Wall-E's an all-in-all great guy.  :)

Wall-E taking care of Shrewy the Shrew.

Wall-E reading a bedtime story to Fae's child. I didn't make him do this, he did it autonomously, which I thought was really sweet.

Eva being a Robonanny, taking care of baby Flora.

Too funny. I love the plumbot robber (in your pictures, I haven't actually seen one myself), especially the way it saunters around. lol Speaking of sauntering, what's with the future walk? Does anyone know what I'm talking about? It might just be in the Utopian future, but everyone walks around like the imaginary friends. It's ridiculous looking.  :)

Even the standard plants are all bright and colorful in Utopia!  Here's some ranch weeds, some hydrangea and sunflowers.  I think the other shrubs are boxwood.

The house in the background is one I've been remodeling there.  Can't stand the grey!

What?  Grannies can't play games?

I gave one of my sims the Future Sim LTR and besides an upgraded phone, she does this when she talks to people:
