I've been having some game problems. I think my save for the Dynasty game is bugged - it keeps cancelling all my sims' actions after I initiate. I have another save file, but it's from before Manuela got pregnant. Can I switch to the old save file and start from there again?

Have you first tried restarting the game and going back to that same file?

I've tried restarting and loading the backup as the main save file. Neither worked. I'm going to try reinstalling and if that doesn't work, I'll go back to the old save file.

Edit: Found the problem. It was a piece of CC. Dynasty will now resume as scheduled.

I have Agnes Crumplebottom living in my Dynasty Home, and was wondering if she is able to adopt.

Agnes is not married and is just there to sculpt and paint.

No. Offspring have to be the result of natural pregnancies. No adoption.

I am pretty sure that Agnes adopted a little boy in Anushka's dynasty.

Well, how else can one interpret this....

  • All offspring must result from natural pregnancies of Sims living in the Dynasty house.

???

How does adoption fit into that rule?

Maybe people have the idea that the rule only applies for the immortal line and not spares. To be honest I don't really know I was just letting you know that in another dynasty someone has adopted a baby.

Well, if that's the case, then that's my bad. And who knows? Maybe I gave permission to Anushka already. Heck I cannot even remember what I had for breakfast today. Lol.

@Seabody, maybe Anushka can chime in and jog my memory. If she was given permission, then obviously that extends to you and anyone else.

As far as I know, Seabody's dynasty is not going for HoF, so no strict rules for us cheaters! ;D Am I right?

My dynasty is not going for HoF.
I would like to stick to as many rules as possible, however.

Maybe this has already been asked, but the thread has gotten so big I couldn't possible read all the pages!

The rules say all offspring (except generation eight), must result from natural pregnancies from sims on the lot. I can, however, not determine if this rule is for Immortals or for all sims on the lot? Say I have a non-immortal sim, can they adopt? Or does this rule also apply to them?

This was actually just discussed earlier today. :) It would appear that other players have already interpreted that rule to mean immortal blood line only. So, adoption is fine for other non immortal Sims.
