The Sims 3 Immortal Dynasty Challenge

My Dynasty is over! I lost a Portrait of my Founder! I looked everywhere and could not find it! I can't believe I lost it when I was almost halfway through the challenge! 

Are you sure it's not somewhere up a wall on the outside of the house?  I can't tell you how many paintings and other surprises I have discovered putting all my walls up and looking at the outside of the house.  Don't forget the outside of the basement.  Not sure if you can put stuff there.

I think I shot myself in the foot. I could have *sworn* that it was my current mortal spouse's elder birthday, and I threw him a party - but as he was in the middle of the aging-up process (so no takebacks) I clicked over to his Simology tab and it said he had one day left. Game over?

Metro how far away do you think the next Dynasty Challenge will be? As in a new challenge. I am hoping you will do a Vampire one sometime as well!

A whole Dynasty revolved around vampires? Not likely because remember—these Dynasties need to be able to be accomplished with just the base game. The next Dynasty challenge will be based on townies. That much I know. I'll probably unveil it end of summer/beginning of fall. It's important that Tournament players have finished the majority of the season when I unveil a Dynasty as to avoid too much conflict of interest.

I'm having a slight problem. My founder has completed the omni plant opp and was able to plant the 3 omni seeds given to her.
However, I am unable to order more seeds through the mailbox. The option to do so is there but all that happens is that she goes up to the mailbox and stands there for a second before the order is cancelled. They do not appear in the mailbox the next day.
I really want a ton of omni plants for my garden. Is there any other reliable way of getting them? Can I now find them like I find other special seeds?
If not, would I be allowed to use the buy debug cheat to obtain more seeds?

This is a well-known bug unfortunately. I believe something broke with the release of Late Night. And no, you can't use Buydebug to get more. Sorry.

You'll just have to live with the ones you've got.  Omni seeds don't show up anywhere.  They are strictly from the mailbox and since it's bugged, we have to do without until EA fixes the problem.  Just didn't want you to wear yourself out looking for Omni seeds that you won't find.

Hi Nicky.

This is actually our first Dynasty Challenge, so it's all a work in progress.  We currently plan to introduce a second Dynasty challenge sometime this year.  It won't replace the Immortal Dynasty Challenge.  It'll just be a new challenge added to the Dynasty series.  They won't have any time limits on them, so you can start one anytime you wish and play it as long as you want.

Thomas I am so sorry to hear about your portrait loss. 

I have run into a small hitch with my 2nd gen immortal. I have her going to France to get a Level 3 Visa and she is at 83% to Visa level 3 but the board is not working! I have done a search around and there doesn't seem to be any way around it. Any ideas would be great as if I can't get her visa to 3 I will have to work on another sim and to be honest that's just not something I want to do...yet.

I had the same issue with my 2nd generation in my Dynasty. Are other Sims able to use the board? I was able to use the board again after another day or two. This happened a few times. I think it's just the game not generating any more quests for that one Sim.

Sometimes, after a couple of days, your Sim can receive new adventure through phone calls too. Maybe this can help. And of course, if you give your Sim the Adventurous trait and/or the Opportunistic reward, they will receive more visa points / quest.
