Technically she would be living in the Dynasty house before she gives birth. But oh well. I guess I'll just cross her off my list. (Yes, I do actually have a list of potential spouses.)  ;D

But, despite the fact that Claire would live in the Dynasty house, the heir would not be the result of both parents living in the Dynasty house. That requirement is clearly implied given the rule uses the word Sims.

Oh, I know. I just wanted to make sure.  :) But honestly, I think I'm giving up. It's too hard for me. Every time I make a male sim, he only has 15 days to age up to adult.  :-\ I could use the extra 5 days I'm supposed to have. And I can't figure out how to complete the last challenge for the handiness skill. I'm supposed to repair 10 electrical objects but I have no idea how to break them. I've tried turning off and on the cheap tv's but nothing.

Try the Technophobe trait instead. They can break electronic items, just click on the item (in this case, the TV) and choose 'Break'. They should tinker it a bit, and then it breaks. Repair it, and I am almost sure it will count in the Skill Journal.

Oh that's a good idea, thanks. But seeing as I can't use the Mid-life Crisis LTR, I'll just have to continue turning them on and off and hope they break. That'll be the only thing standing in my way. Honestly I think the game hates me. This is my 5th attempt at it.

It's a tough challenge. No doubt about it. Choosing Handiness for your Founder's SuperMax is certainly adding higher difficulty. Going with something like Gardening, Fishing, or Cooking would make things easier on you.

Yeah I didn't really think this one through. I guess I'll just continue it and see if I can actually make it. If not, I'll just make another one and have 3 best friends move in.

Wow, 3 best friends AND a spouse + heir on first gen? That makes 6 Sims in the house already. You can handle that? I can't. :o

Try supermaxing Handiness later in the game - generation four to eight - as none of your other Immortals are going to max it out without you forcing them to (by reading books, repairing etc.).

Well the spouse is going to be one of the best friends and I'm not going to worry about the heir until I have everything done for the founder. Then I'll just wait until all of them die and then get another spouse and have a baby with her.

And I was going to do that for the first attempts but for this one I married Agnes and she took care of the of the painting and cooking. My founder took care of fishing, gardening, and handiness with that being supermax because I don't like the challenges for fishing and gardening. They look too hard for me but I guess it became hard either way, lol.   :P

I noticed when I was building on my most recent real estate acquisition that, even in Sunset Valley, subway terminals are available for placement on community lots. Is it okay to add them?

P.S. Probably the wrong place to ask this, but...
Pam: How did your Dreamweavers all manage to adopt nooboos when they were elders? I'm pretty sure I've had a pop-up telling me I'm too old to do so ???

Sorry for my late response.  My elders didn't have any problems at all adopting.  Maybe it's something that's been changed in the game since it was first released.

Yes, you can add them, but only on properties that one of your Sims owns.

My Dynasty is over! I lost a Portrait of my Founder! I looked everywhere and could not find it! I can't believe I lost it when I was almost halfway through the challenge!  >:(

I started a dynasty today. Made my founder a Writer and at the end of the first week he maxed Cooking and is at level 6 gardening and is working on his first novel. In addition, he's purchased his business and his property, although he still needs to upgrade the property. And he has completed 2 cooking ops. Not bad for a first week, right?
