Also, I have a question of my own. When calculating the value of your immortal dynasty, what have people done? Have they jotted down the price of everything and calculated it by hand or on spreadsheets? Or is there a different way that people have calculated the final value of the portraits, ice sculptures and paintings?

What I did was once Pandora had ate her amborsia.  I went into build mode and grabbed each portrait, sculpture and photograph and added the values up of each one.  Don't make a note of their value at the beginning as it changes over time hope that helps  ;D

Yep, as Sassy said, the items rise in value over time. Don't be surprised if your generation 1 adult photo worth 50$ in the beginning is worth more than 1000$ in the end! :) I have a question: is there any rabbit hole career that uses the painting skill only. I know Law Enforcement, but it requires other skills as well. My last choice would be self-employed Painter, but I'm a die hard retirement fan! ;D

One that exclusively uses it as it's main metric?  No, I'm afraid not.

What I have done for my Deathflowers is fenced off a small bit and put the deathflowers in there.

Quote
When the property I'm upgrading seems to have too much on it, I just make a basement on that property and fill it with the required things. That way, they never have to be seen, but they contribute to the total value of the property.
What a clever idea! I had one really small lot in BB and could not figure out how to get everything to fit. Now I know  :D

I just laid my Deathflowers out in the yard.  I've never seen a Sim pick one up on his own without being directed.

Thanks for that. I was aware that they went up in time, I was just wondering if I was missing out on a quick way of calculating it at the end - it seems I'm not :D

Here is a question that I hope I get a positive answer to. I just bought Late Night and saw in the rules that Edit Town is allowed to place a bar/studio. I couldn't really find a place that fitted a lot big enough for the studio place in Sunset Valley so I bulldozed two of the small lots that have no buildings on them up on Pinochle Point and placed the 64x64 lot and whacked the studio there. Is this a game breaker?

You can use the World Editor to place Lots large enough to put the Clubs down. The Grind fits on soem lots if you zone them though!  ;)

Yes I have done that but as far as I can tell the only premade studio is the Plumbob Pictures Backlot?

Okay, I'm stumped. My second gen spare is suddenly a day older then he is meant to be. One he and his twin sister both had 4 days until aging up and the next he has 2 and his twin sister has 3. What should I do?

Yeah, it's a weird bug. I really can't think of doing anything that won't break the rules. Good thing it's your spare, not the heir.

It's been said in this thread before (sorry, I can't find the exact page number) to age them both up on the day that would have been their birthday.
If you want, you can wait for confirmation from Metro too.

Thing is he's going to age up early.

Oh, that's odd. Are you sure you checked it the day after, and not two days after?
Because usually that glitch gives one of the twins/triplets and extra day of life, so one of them ages up a day later than the others.
In that case, I don't know what to do, sorry.

Alexandria_ is correct — you can simply age them up on the day that would have been their birthday.
